Looks like November might be the only time to finally tell these Marxist pigs who their Daddy is.

  1. The case is going forward on appeal. Look for the Rules committee to settle this anyway.
Do not be so freakin pessimistic,
    ‘eh?

  2. *dons tinfoil hat*

Maybe the Democratic establishment suspects, or even somehow knows, that economic disaster is coming during the next administration, and so they WANT to lose this time so a Republican president can take the blame for it?

    *doffs tinfoil hat*

Or are they just that expletive-deleted STUPID?

    Ceiling H. Cat, what’s IN that Kool-Aid?

  3. Anon, unless you have been seriously involved with politics on the inside, you can only slightly imagine what slime there is running things. I prefer to think of myself as realistic. But then, this time I could be wrong. It would be a first and I would be happy to hear I TOLD YOU SO.

  4. Here’s to Firsts Uppity!
I know the slime of which you speak. I worked for a Senator on the Hill. I also believe that pols are very self protective.
Very. They will think to jump for Obama to keep nice-nice with party agitators. Then they will look again, and go, “oh shit”, you mean Obama could tank MY job? And they will switch. They will sneak down the corridors to do it, but they will do it. And some of them actually have the best interests of both country and party at heart– and will not be pushed by threats to do what is wrong. They will back Clinton. And if I’m wrong- and my goodness, that wouldn’t be a first– I’d rather be a true-believer until I’m shown there’s nothing left to believe in.
If they steal it from Clinton, I will vote McCain. Until then, I believe in Clinton and I believe that sometimes–and this is one of those times– the Just Cause, wins.

  5. Well anon, being a new yorker and having had the pleasure of knowing her work right in my presence, if anybody can prevail, it’s Hillary! So I will buy you that virtual steak dinner if you turn out right! With pleasure.

  6. Uppity,
‘My first visit to your blog.
I love your comment to Obama people.
It’s heart warming to know you haven’t caved in to allowing the “discussion” like others have.
Obamabots seek to get into the minds of Hillary supporters to beef up their campaign is all. If you know what strategy I mean. Too bad others allow the Obamabots onto their blog.
    They will lose good posters.

  7. Thing is as I understand it: the Pig Called Dean was on hand for both cases to dismiss them. And you know what that means. That means the colossal fucktard still doesn’t intend to budge an inch. And no that is not repeat not good.

PS. Has everybody caught that Lou Dobbs promised to have a COMPLETE list of both Dem SDs and independent politicians on his site by today.

  8. Uppity- You are a true hero! I am , sadly, not surprised that the suit was thrown out, glad it is going forward on appeal. Hope it turns out better than the 2000 mess.
If plastic jesus gets the nod, I will be voting McCain. That way my vote will kind of count twice- once for McCain and once against Ofraudma. Justice no? If Fl and MI voters get screwed out of a vote, it is my duty to make it up to them by screwing the DNC like they screwed us.

  9. For something completely different: if you go to the Dobbs site now you’ll see a poll off to the right. Choose candidate and vote. Hey big surprise: Hill gets twice as much either McCain or Mr Plastic & Polyester Bullshit.

  10. Uppity,

This case being reported on is similar to a case that was thrown out earlier and IS NOT the case that was filed a few days ago. That new case (Steve Geller) is based on different legal theory.

  11. Oh man! Thank you V! I was so down I failed to even recognize the difference! I will update right now.
    xxoo

  12. Darn it. I’m wrong. This is the Geller case that got thrown out.

    Sorry….

  13. Dang.

  14. Look for the Rules committee to settle this anyway. Do not be so freakin pessimistic

Dean got the case tossed out of court. Why should he change by Friday?

Maybe the Democratic establishment suspects, or even somehow knows, that economic disaster is coming during the next administration

No. That’s too far fetched. And economics can be controlled to a certain extent. And can you stand another four years – and another estimated $4.5 trillion in debt – by those wizards? Not that Howard Coward has any clue about this of course.

This case being reported on is similar to a case that was thrown out earlier and IS NOT the case that was filed a few days ago.

    Aha?

Darn it. I’m wrong. This is the Geller case that got thrown out.

v4hill will have to pay for her own dinner for that! ;)

Final question: who controls the courts there? If it’s the GOP it makes perfect sense.

  15. I am a supporter of Sen. Clinton and from New York. I thank you for your support of our Senator.

  16. Thank you Uppity woman,

I am from New York and a supporter of Sen. Clinton. I am also the wife of a New York City Police Officer.

To tell you that what the Obama People have been able to do to this strong women and my Senator makes me sick. I love your video and have passed it along.

    Thank you again Uppity Woman.

    Liz

  17. PING PONG, FLIP FLOP

(kourian — dinner is still on me — D.C. at Hillary’s Inaugaration)

The “news story” out of Canada conflating the Geller suit with the Dimaio suit was INCORRECT. I have contacted the author, and after confirming my factchecking, she has agreed to publish a correction. Bottom-line is the Geller suit filed a few days ago is still alive and well.

    Gory, boring details:

The Dimaio case was thrown out on narrow technical grounds (Dimaio did not cast a ballot in the Primary and the court holds theie can’t be an injury if you didn’t vote) and leaves plenty of room for the Geller case. Especially since the Geller case is suing on a completely different legal theory than Dimaio.

  18. Anon and Liz, su Senator es mi Senator. Or something like that

V4, ok I get it. I think. Hee hee.

  19. I’m glad the newest lawsuit is alive and well. This is utterly ridiculous; Dean needs to stop being stupid and realize the party is going down, big-time, if Obama is the nominee — especially with all these machinations that have “helped” him but hurt everyone else — including Senator Clinton.

I am appalled by the behavior of the DNC and hope that their comment today (that they “have” to “punish” MI and FL by at least half) is waffling. It is the first and only comment they’ve made that admits they don’t have to use the “nuclear” option of stripping all delegates and superdelegates from both states. (It is particularly ridiculous to tell some elected officials — i.e., most of the superdelegates — that their votes also do not count.)

Good work, Uppity Woman. Enjoy reading your blog.

And I sincerely hope with every fiber of my being that Hillary Clinton will be the nominee — she’s the only one who will beat McCain. (I believe Obama will lose, and lose big-time, to McCain. He might only win five states.)

  20. V4: Thanks for that. I might get some sleep this night/morning after all. And thanks for the invitation. If I can at all make it I shall.

Uppity: I got a hot date in January! ;)

  21. Dear gawd, I am sitting in Hawaii and our host has the teevee tuned to CNN. Could they be any more in tank for Obama? I am about ready to throw up.

To stay on topic, I am not sure I can stay a Democrat after this primary. If, as it appears, the party has a death wish, I have no intention of bravely going down with the ship that has refused to stand up for us time and time again and will change my registration to Independent and get on with my life once again. It won’t be the happiest decision I’ve ever made in my life, but make it I must.

In the previous post you mentioned driving them away. Why? Why am I going to fight for a party that is unwilling to fight for me? It’s obvious the PTB thinks we’ll stick around and continue to back them. No. I want to send them the strongest message I can. They don’t get my time, my money, or my vote. Screw’em.

  22. carissa, I completely understand how you feel and respect it. I also do not blame you one bit.

  23. The Dimaio case was thrown out on narrow technical grounds (Dimaio did not cast a ballot in the Primary and the court holds theie can’t be an injury if you didn’t vote)
    Doh, Dimaio. Doh.
