I ask if Dick Morris is really a woman, because he seems to not only “know” exactly how women “think,” but he also knows exactly what they are thinking at all times! I have watched him emphatically ‘analyze’ what Hillary supporters are thinking on FOX, ad nauseum. He is so sure of himself, he surely must be a woman!
Now I know that some say Dick Morris knows women’s toes, and I know that he has been suspected of paying for women in lieu of being able to have one for free, but his assessment of what women are thinking with respect to Barack Obama is Toe-tally off.
Dick Morris Inaccurate Assessment Number One: Women are only making a fuss because they want Hillary to be Barky’s VP.
The thing is, Dick, that’s the last thing most of us want. Some of us have spent enough time in Corporate America to recognize the habit of hiring a superior woman to hold up a mediocre man, while he prances around and preens and takes the credit. This describes Barack Obama’s character completely.
Most women would not only regard the “bridesmaid” idea as degrading, but most of us don’t want Hillary to be caught standing next to Barack Obama when he goes down in flames in November. We know that she could help him win and we do not want him to be President. Therefore, the thought of Hillary as the VP candidate is not attractive to us. We intend to provide as much help to defeat him as possible, although we probably won’t have nearly as much impact as all those “bitter hicks”. And finally, most of us wouldn’t vote for Barack Obama if he picked our own Mother as his VP.
It’s not about Hillary at this point. It’s about Barack Obama. We don’t trust him with our country and we don’t trust him with our lives. And mostly, we don’t trust him with our rights as women. So get that idea out of your head, Dick, mkay? We wouldn’t want you to appear as out of touch as Howard “The Confident” is.
Dick Morris Inaccurate Assessment Number Two: Women will vote for Barack Obama “because of the Supreme Court”. Those were his words yesterday, no kidding. I didn’t make that up.
I am going to assume here that Dick means the ominous Roe v. Wade scare. Well, Dick, I’m here to tell you that this has been a tool the Democrats have used to keep us in line for far too long. With this tool, Tools like Howard Dean have gotten women to make their phone calls, do their precinct work, carry their water and otherwise do the grunt work for “The Party”. I’m also here to tell you that this argument means nothing to us any longer.
For starters, if the Democratic party cared about a woman’s right to choose, big shots like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid would have done something about it legislatively long ago. But that wouldn’t have been any fun, would it? I mean, how would they keep all those women in the voting line pulling that “D” lever if that were to happen?
We’re onto the Democratic Party patriarchs and we aren’t buying the threat any longer. Roe v. Wade is going nowhere, and we all know it. If it could have gone anywhere, the other side of the Barack Obama Extremist Whackjob Coin, namely George W. Bush, would have made it happen long ago. And even if Roe v. Wade were in danger of being “overturned,” the only result would be that the Federal government would be out of the picture and states would take over. Then you would all have to find something else to threaten us women with in order to get us to vote for a sexist pig like Sweetie Obama.
Ok, I’ll be the devil’s advocate here. Let’s assume that this lame threat that the Democratic Party has used on us for decades were to come to fruition by some absolute freak of luck. I have an opinion about that too–and it in no way resembles Dick Morris’ opinion.
In my opinion, any woman who falls for the misogynist pig named Barack Obama is already in danger of losing her rights as a complete person. Roe v Wade is the least of her worries after that happens, because once Sweetie Obama starts setting the Example for the workplace, it will be downhill all the way. The President of the United States has always set the tone in the workplace. As his attitude goes, so goes the attitude of all those corporations. Considering that Barack Obama has already set gender relations back 30 years, good luck with the thought that things will be just fine for women when he is President.
In my opinion, if my younger sisters lose Roe v Wade it will be their own fault for taking the rights they have for granted, because they didn’t fight for them. They think these rights will always be there and nothing could be further from the truth. If this year’s Democratic Primary showed us one thing, it’s that these rights are precarious. In fact they would be completely gone in the wrong hands. And the wrong hands belong to Barack Obama, the man who secretly chuckled with glee as women were bashed by-proxy by his surrogates, his followers, the press and him.
I see many very young women who are dangerously complacent enough to take the time to swoon over a sexy empty suit who has already set gender relations back a minimum of 30 years. And we haven’t even gotten to the General Election campaign yet. If these women lose Roe v Wade because they all want to be the Obama Girl, then it serves them right. Not my problem. I know how not to get pregnant.
It’s my job to protect the rights I fought for that matter to me. I do not take these rights lightly. This is a misogynist’s campaign and if squealing young women are too busy spawning over Leland Gaunt handing out Needful Things and discussing his vibrating cell phone when he leans on one of them, then they will have to learn to take the consequences of their own folly along with the consolations. Maybe then they will Get It. I have already done well enough in my life. Complacency is their enemy, not mine. If they don’t appreciate what the previous generation of women went through so that they could act like they want to spawn for Barack Obama, then they don’t deserve our help any longer. Let em eat vibrating cell phones.
I sincerely hope this clears things up for Dick Morris.

"This is not culture. This is not custom. This is criminal."
For some darned reason this story reminds me of the old Johnny Cash hit A Boy Named Sue
I’m sure you can figure out what i mean.
LOVED the Toe-tally!!!
And I toe-tally agree with you that the Rove v Wade boogeyman is exactly what the Democrats have used to get folks to toe the line and pull that lever for decades. It has been a lie all along. Even now they bring up the same tired bullshit. Rather than tell us what The Obamanation will do for us they tell us what McCain will do to us.
Excellent rant! Made my day. It IS about this guy, not Hillary, not McCain. The other day he was saying how tough he is by saying, “If McCain brings a knife, we will bring a gun.” Really evolved, bud. If McCain had said that–it would have been spun as a death threat against you, poor little you. Did you guys read yesterday’s NYT story on how he is trying to create his management style–yeah, try managing! See how that goes and call us.
Morris is such a tool. He hates Hillary and has devoted his life to writing books against her. He is like her creepy little shadow. And yes–he used to pay people to date him. Date…well…
Obama’s Illinois voting record should be enough to convince any woman he doesn’t give a rat’s ass about reproductive rights.
the Evangelicals should be delighted with the blue balls video. Juanita has it posted http://www.stop-obama.org/?p=575#comment-7999
you need to see the entire video. Fox showed only a clip.
Oh. My God.
“Look mom! I am in a commercial for the DNC! Cool huh???. Can I use the car tonight?”
Remember, he said kids who didn’t use B/C might be punished with a baby.
Dick Morris is a buffoon. I don’t know how you were able to listen to him for more than 30 seconds without changing the channel.
I watch him too. Luckily I didn’t have anything handy to throw at the TV or I would have. I usually mute the TV when he comes on, but couldn’t find the remote.
I have come to the conclusion that all these blow hards on TV and the DNC don’t realize that they have pushed us over the edge.
When I get mad, I get even and I’m past the point of being mad. I was only going to vote for McCain, but now I’m leaning to a straight Republican ticket.
I’m ready to vote out every last stupid Dem. Not one of them had the guts to stand up during the primary and defend one of their own. Now they want us to show party unity? Where was their unity for their fellow Democrat?
If Obama manages to get elected, it will be for 1 term and then the Democrats will wander around for 20 or 30 years before we see another Dem President. My Mom was going to sit the GE out, but I’ve convinced her that at least we know who McCain is and what he stands for. We can afford 4 years of him in the White House. 4 years of Obama will be a disaster (worse than Bush I fear) and this country can not afford it.
Wonderfully funny post–with serious commentary. Thank you!
thank you.
Awesome post. Hit the nail on the head.
On good ole MSNBC (in between the Tim Russert Viking funeral or whatever it is) they had a panel about how Obama is raking in the gals now…Luckily I eat early.
Over on Fluffpo they have a game plan for Junior–show seniors what a good father you are…they will do anything for ya.
I cannot tolerate listening to Dick Morris. During the primary, his comments were off-the-wall vicious in anything Clinton. The hateful spew was appalling.
As far as knowing the hearts and minds of women? Cut me a break.
Roe vs. Wade is not an issue that affects me personally now. If the younger women want to protect the right their mothers and aunts and even their grandmothers fought for, they themselves will need to fight the good fight, as each generation is required to do for every freedom and/or right we have. That’s part of being an American citizen.
As for the VP slot? That’s the last place I want to see HRC. Number one, the position isn’t worthy of her experience and qualifications. Number two, when this House of Cards comes tumbling down, I wouldn’t want to see anyone I care about or respect caught in the wreckage. Number three, she shouldn’t take a missionary position to anyone, least of all BO.
I honestly don’t know how any woman could support a movement that has been so blatantly sexist and excludes more people than it includes. There’s a lot of working folks in this country and if they’re like my family? They have “very” long memories.
Should be interesting to see how this plays out!

There’s a silent and dangerous assumption that people on the telly are ‘more’ something or other than those who are watching. When in fact – as all can so often see – it’s quite the opposite.
I think this is something which often confuses people. I think at the outset they’re confronted with a paradox: those people on the telly are supposed to be so intelligent and wise – and yet they seem instead to be shallow, incapable of cogent organised thought, and weak weak weak – and bent and twisted by perverse childhoods, too much time in the clubroom, whatever. They’re inferior.
“It’s not about Hillary at this point. It’s about Barack Obama.”
Amen! I don’t care whether she comes out and screams and begs for us to support him. I’m not doing it.
Right on, Uppity!!! WE have fought the “good fight”, we have made great strides, but we have passed on the “fight” to another generation and now it is up to them to carry this fight. If they do not have the will to continue, then the onus is on them, the price is theirs to pay!!!

Now I know the answer. I have often wondered why things like the Lilly Ledbetter Act can’t get passed. (Don’t tell me the Democrats can’t pass it. Where are the back room deals when you need them.) Why if we were making as much money as men that may lower the need for abortion and then they wouldn’t have anything to hold over our heads! I just get madder and madder!
Dick Morris was, in fact, fired from the Clinton 1996 Presidential campaign due to exposure of his long term relationship (as a married man0 with a prostitute. Hillary was said to be influential in his demise – and it’s only 12 yrs later and he’s still out to get her. How’s that for taking responsibility for your actions.
Nice that Dodd and another Sen. bozo SD have been outed today for their special mortgage breaks, related to the same guy that bozo just dumped (under that rapidly emptying bus) from his VP search team.
lol Now the Repubs are attacking Pelosi on FOX for claiming how transparent the Dem Congress would be – demanding that she call for investigation.
Remember to send FAX to DEAN tomorrow as party of the JustSayNoDeal mass fax dump on the DNC.
go go justsaynodeal for details.
Dick Morris is a jackass and I can’t stand watching him. He trashes the Clintons every chance he can. Loved you post. Love your posts at No Quarter. Barry Hussein need to experience a massive defeat. I don’t even want to think what would happen to our country if the unthinkable happens. John McCain 2008 unless Hillary becomes the nominee. Thanks for this site. Another great one to visit.
Never mind Dick Morris, according to this NYT op-ed Obama is apparently a woman:
““In many ways, he really will be the first woman president,” Megan Beyer of Virginia, a charter member of Women for Obama, told reporters.
Obama and his supporters are rapidly moving beyond parody.
Hey badger, maybe they think we won’t notice and we will vote for him because we think he’s a woman.
Considering how stupid they seem to think we all are, it wouldn’t surprise me.
Heck, his followers already believe he’s an enlightened superbeing who can raise and lower the tides at will, and all that jazz.
Don’t forget–that tide remark was a shoutout to the evangies!
[...] Somebody actually pays this guy to babble like this? I thought Dick Morris had his head up his butt, but this Magoo Schneider guy could teach a course in fantasy analysis. He just doesn’t want to [...]
