Recreate68, AKA 1968 Wannabees, repeat that convention’s violence– and help America be horrified so that they will RUN to the polls to vote against Barack Obama. Just like 1968. Especially all those “Bitter hicks,” Hey? How cool is that?
Keep up the good work! You old hippies and left overs from the Communist party may have bad backs now, but you sure still know how to rile up a demonstration. Thanks for your help!
Now, you had better look out for the ipods of those kids you suckered punched into getting arrested for you. If their ipod gets cracked, they will leave. Oh and when can we expect to see your Body Hammer tricks from your Self Defense Manual? Very cool! (Readers, do not miss the chance to click that link).

Did you happen to tell those kids who are into all this cool days-gone-by excitement that, in those good ole days, sometimes the National Guard showed up and it wasn’t pretty? Just asking. I suggest you text everybody and let them know, mmmmkay?
Oooooooooo! Is that a Che Guevara poster I see???
Here’s a video gang.

"This is not culture. This is not custom. This is criminal."
How pathetic. Where’s the reputed “shit cannon” when one most needs it?
I think he’s primping for his big speech….opps, shit cannon…you were talking about the selective nominee weren’t you?
What were they protesting? asked Mary naively. And were they doing it to make Hillary supporters look bad?
Looked like they were protesting everything except the price of rice.
War, health care. Government. Life. Whatever. I saw Che Guevara signs. Kind of a competition on who hates Amerikkka more. It all looked like a bunch of hippy wannabees channeling 1968.
Fucking hippy wannabees–”Fashion-statement” protesters make me insane. Just wear some bell-bottoms and look like extras in “Forrest Gump”–then go away. These are the ones that need to get a life. The 60’s are best just remembered and not relived.
Love the site Uppity – esp. the kitties!
Larry & Susan are rolling out the welcome mat for Oblowme thugs, so it was suggested we should meet at your place.
Why would anyone want to recreate the ‘68 Convention?
Talk about dead enders!
Hi Mechelle,
Ah it’s my guess that, because Obama attracts all those radicals, old hippies still on the bong and left-over members of the defunct Communist, Marxist and Socialist parties, they saw an opportunity to be assholes again. Then they hooked a bunch of kids to follow them and go to jail for them. But be glad! It helps ruin OBigHead’s chances just like it ruined things for the party in 68. Let it rip!
Hey imustprotest — good to see you back. Welcome!
Here is the protesters when they were LIVE on Faux News:
Hey, you guys, ROFL.
typical.white.person: Thanks for the link. I hated those bastads then, and I hate them now. But UW is right: the more they’re identified as Leftists, the more they’re identfied with Obarfy. I hope Fox will emphasize he word Leftists a lot. Don’t know. O’Reilly is their convention anchor, and, unthinkable as it would have been a few months ago, he seems to be in and out of the tank. Even heard him dissing his hero, Rove, one afternoon.
Hi gang. Damn it`s early, but I could not sleep. Waiting for a full week of gaffes by the keystone cops.
HARP: “keystone cops”–Like it.
If CO doesn’t go for McSane, I’ll blame the state for this stupid convention and everything that has happened, whenever it’s mentioned.
It really isn’t fair to CO. Chicago should have held the crazy thing and the riots as well.
What do they care there? Kids get shot on their way to school in Oblowme’s district.
omg. These protesters look like idiots. What a weird week this will be.
Love your site, Uppity. The pic where che morphs into snobama is great.
The only thing missing was them chanting “We Love MSNBC”.
Good Morning UW, thanks for having a home for us orphans to go to. That’s what I feel like this morning.
I see some nice familiar names, I am so glad to have somewhere to go.
Looks like the protesters are trying for their Andy Warhol moment.
Great site, Uppity, a haven in the storm
I was no fan of Abbie Hoffman, but he was a man and not an automaton. He’s rolling in his grave; in the 60s, he invited people to “Steal This Book” not steal his Ideas. Recreate68 my ass.
hmmm….bunch of oldbutts calling Fox News a corporate whore. Then… MSNBC, NBC & CNN plus KOS & HUFFnothing are Obama’s & DNC’s Whores? Right?
Kinda sad to see old & grown ups behaves so outrageously vulgar and stupid. Looks like middle east demonstrations. Even here in my country, it happened too…but trying to stop reporters from doing their job is something else. Scary.
Ms UW, if Ms Mary is pumacrat, may i be one too:D??? pleaseeeeee
BTW, where’s Papoose?
Morning all.
Time for McCain to pick a VP. Right now I am leaning to Carly Firiona or Meg Whitman.
Morning Harp. Or the CEO of Ebay. I hear he’s close to her. Would be nice if he picked a woman. A real slap to Obama. But even if he doesn’t, I will work for him.
I think if he can choose a smart woman without to many skeletons in her closet, he will have 10 point lead. It scares me if the polls are close . I don`t trust the election to be fair if that is the case.
Aw, it did get some old juices flowing–though I am not “still on the bong.” Remember, tho–the movement was VERY sexist–the women in it were groupies to the Abbys.
For any of us old enough to remember the 60’s it was a romantic as these wannbes think. The guard at kent state showed that, maybe they never even heard of kent state? Watch the delegates, hold them to the word.
http://nativeamericansagainstobama.wordpress.com/
Whoever McCain picks for VP, that person must not be just another prepackaged Power-Point product (4-P principle). He really needs to pick someone with underlying substance. To that end, Whitman would be a good choice, IMO.
I’m also pushing for Meg and Carli, in that order. I still think he may be in danger of losing Michigan if it’s not Mitt. So, I’m torn. If only Michigan wd break in favor of and hold for Mac soon.
Those are my thoughts too. He will either pick Romney or one of those three women.
I think one of the women would be less contentious and the pods would get their shorts in a knot.
Gosh, they left out their hate for being born. Asswipes. They have no idea what went on at Kent State and how that went down. I suppose watching a Che movie is everything that they need to channel protest.

CO is hard to call. Although it was once pretty much “red”, except here in the Denver area, it’s hard to say how it will go. I do know I do not see the signage I saw 4 years ago for Kerry/Edwards. I do not think hosting the convention here will be an overall benefit in November. There are people who wish it wasn’t here (us among them). With all the neo-hippies looking for trouble, road closures, public transit changes, helicopters buzzing around – it’s not exactly a big thrill for us regular folk. We just want to get through the week unscathed.
Indy…. Put flak jacket on and keep your head down my friend.
Hi NES! I’m not back…I never left! Been lurking and learning mostly. As for VP pick for Mac don’t you think he needs to pick someone to add a little excitement into this race? Biden is a big yawn. I liked the idea of Sarah Palin but I read some comments at NQ that suggest her stance on the environment (ANWAR) would be a liability. Her resume is interesting though.
I do think Mac needs some excitement. Palin’s good and, reportedly, stops traffic. ANWAR may cost some moderates, but Mac has already said he’s open to the possibility so not sure she harms him. I think Fiorina (who has been acquitting herself well in all the cable and network interviews in Denver) or Meg Whitman of eBay should be strong candidates. UW has it right — if Mac picks a woman it’ll be a resounding slap at Barky.
He should pick a woman and announce her at 2:59 am.
Harp-that’s the plan. I do have somewhere to go on Thursday morning, but it’s in the opposite direction of downtown Denver. I read in the local press that Hillary supporters have canceled a march due to fear of violence. I’ve been hunting around PUMA sites to find out more..no luck. I’m glad they are here to make themselves heard, but I do fear for them. I’d love to take my daughter to the Cheeseman Park event tonight, but think I would be putting us in harms way.
I hope McCain picks a woman as well. I honestly think that it would help him with independents like myself, and former Hillary supporters (also like myself). The swing vote is larger than the part of the Republican party who doesn’t like a moderate like McCain.

LOL, I love that idea.
Indy, that’s very upsetting news.
I sent the email below to one of the PUMAs on the ground there. She’s pretty feisty, so if anything’s on, she’ll know where it is. I’ll post a comment if and when I hear from her. [By the way, she's the one who shot that famous clip of video of Hillary in No. Cal. that was used to contradict the false rumor that she didn't want her name put in nomination.]

Is this true about the march being canceled? Can you please advise. If there’s a threat of violence, why not have Fox news jam the street with cameras. Then the ‘bots will be less willing to engage. After all, they’re schoolyard bullies. Also, where can she learn about the PUMA events?
Hope you’re otherwise fine and having a heckva time. Fight the good fight, pal! xx
Ask her if she’s heard anything about Mr. Thief’s people buying off delegates with hotel room deals so that there will be no doubt he looks more popular on the first ballot than he actually is.
My mole should be reporting in soon. She tried to report last night but the wireless was hopeless. She ended up in the middle of a parking lot stealing some bandwidth or something just to email people.
NES would you check your emails please.
Yes, on both fronts.
Indy: Here’s my PUMA friend Simone Dubois’ response to the question of the march.
“March is still on and we are traveling in packs.
Sent from my iPhone
simone”
Hope that helps.
NES-
It was in the online Denver Post, section of live reports from reports-this is all it says:
“Clinton support rters cancel march. Say they fear violence. ” (sic)
it is at denverpost.com/live and you will need to scroll down a bit, it was posted over 2 hours ago.
I’ve checked the pumapac site, the 18 million march site, and the rise2008 site and don’t see anything. Thanks for trying to check it out.
Thanks NES…I found that blurb alarming for the dedicated people demanding their rights from their party. Of all the groups that have gathered here, they are the ones that I am happy to see. I have watched Dem conventions since I was 10 years old…but I don’t know if I have the stomach for it this time around. I do plan to watch Hillary & Bill deliver their speeches though. I can’t believe how they have been treated by the BO/HD/NP Dem party. I anticipate the “new” party will get theirs in November.
maybe now Fox will listen when we say THIS is why we don’t support Barky. it’s not about hillary anymore it’s about right and wrong.
