Obama Tell$ Reid To Take A Financial Hike

I love Poetic Justice don’t you?

Remember when the DNC was all too happy to combine their underfuned bucket of money with Barack Obama? And how happy they all looked at they and Barack Obama were going to be just one big happy financial family? All that money he was raking in was just plain making their eyes bug out! I mean, didn’t they rearrange how delegates are distributed for him in the primaries so that he could have nearly as many delegates as Hillary in states where he got his butt kicked by her? And didn’t they all help to drag his lame butt over the nomination line against the will of constituents?

Well guess what? Harry “Seedy” Reid asked Barack to share some of those millions to help the re-elections of senators and Barack Obama surprised him, but none of us, by saying

“No”.

But Obama gave Reid and the DNC something he perceives as even better! Yes he did! He gave them “Permission” to use his name in senate and congressional races. I mean, after all, He’s The One! Isn’t just hearing his name enough to rally the masses around someone?

Although Democratic insiders say a better deal could still come, the Obama campaign so far has agreed only to let Senate Democrats use Obama’s name — as well as those of his wife and running mate — in mail and online fundraising pitches. The campaign has planned no joint fundraising events with House or Senate Democrats, and insiders say none is likely to be held before Election Day.

What’s the “better deal”? They get to use Michelle’s name too?

You see, Barack Obama doesn’t much all care who gets elected besides himself. He just wants to become King.

Ironically, the man who “cares” about the downtrodden, regards himself as cash poor because he only has $77 million left in his campaign fund. How many things can you find wrong with this picture?

  1. This will probably be either deleted, edited or simply screamed down as being “sexist” or something along that line, but how come there’s no post about Hillary turning down to show up at a rally alongside Sarah Palin? Maybe there’s something in the comments, but not as a main post.

You claim to like Hillary, right? So why don’t you post it when she makes a clear stance as to what she thinks about the Republican VP-candidate by refusing to be at the same rally that said candidate is going to be speaking at? Doesn’t fit with the “Hillary would totally want me to vote for a woman, regardless of whether that womans political stance is the complete opposite of hers” thinking that’s going on here?

I happen to like Hillary and I bet she’s appalled to know that there are voters out there who are supporting people that want the exact opposite of what she stands for.
I would really like to know what you did when Hillary lost the primary. Did you just throw out your old convictions and replace them with new ones? Can see why you would like McCain/Palin then.

But by all means go on slamming Obama and telling yourself Hillary would be proud of you for working to bring a Republican in the White House now.

  2. Oblowme’s gonna need millions to thug his way through this campaign season.

He needs a mountain of cash as he doesn’t have the truth on his side.

Oblowme already paid off plenty of super delegates to get the party nod.

Telling the party to take a hike now is RICH!

  3. I let your post through. Once. My reason? To tell you to OWN YOUR SHITTY CANDIDATE! Stop deflecting. Stop rerouting. Stop changing the subject! Hillary has LEFT THE BUILDING! Barack Obama is ON HIS OWN! I am sick and tired of you pissants blaming Hillary for your lame candidate. You are all pigs and you will soon learn IT’s THE WOMEN, STUPID!

If Hillary cancelled I would bet a dollar to one of your donuts that Obama had PLENTY to do with it, since he is a fragile Baby Jesus isn’t he?

I would bet that Barack Obama didn’t want the national press seeing Hillary and Palin shaking hands at that event. You all should be ashamed of yourselves because Hillary has done this ceremony YEAR AFTER YEAR, long before there was a presidential election like this, and she has to back off of a wonderful cause for that Hoax of a candidate who couldn’t close a deal if he was the only one in the room.

They dragged his limp ass over the nomination line against the will of their constituents. Nobody is going to drag is ass over the election day line. Nobody is going to redistribute electoral votes for him or weight how many points he gets in a losing primary so that he still can win. It’s winner take all. If the primary had been winner take all, we wouldn’t be listening to his whining right now and the Democrats would be ahead by twenty points. So don’t come here pissing and moaning. Barack Obama and people like YOU are the reason he will NOT be elected. We are sick of your shit and if we want anymore shit from you we will squeaze your head. In the meantime, you are NOT welcome on this blog. I learned the art of blacklisting from Huffpo, MY DD and your other sites–the sites where you belong.

    Now get lost.

  4. sw – I cannot speak for UppityWoman (nor would I dare to! LOL) but what you don’t get is 1.) Obama co-opted Hillary’s policy platforms (we saw that in the debates) and has NONE of his own. He is a plastic suit with no core convictions. Period. He has flipped and flopped enough in this deal to make me believe he would be better put back in the water to sink to the bottom with the other slime rather than being left on the dock without air. He is a cheat, a liar and a COMPLETE PHONY. HE has voted with GWB a zillion times (when he decides to SHOW UP TO VOTE AT ALL) and his vision for America is clearly reflected in his disdain for women, the poor (unless you are Black) and his nasty, jaded political ploy to keep our troops in harm’s way in Iraq so that he can look like a king were he to be elected. HILLARY CLINTON WOULD NEVER DO THIS NOR WOULD JOHN McCAIN. His CONSTANT use of the “race card” and his preferred choice of anti-American terrorists and Black Liberation “theology” is what makes HIM UNACCEPTABLE. You seem to think it is all about “policy positions” but what you, and your Hopium-eating partners fail to understand is that we have seen through this man and we do not like what is inside. We prefer the safety and security of our nation over the Socialist Bent that Obama brings to the fore.

Hillary Clinton is NOTHING like Barack Obama, and with that being said, John McCain is much more like her in terms of personality and centrist policy than Obama could ever DREAM of being.

As to whether Hillary would be proud for working to bring a Republican into the White House….my personal opinion is that HRC would be proud that we as Americans have a mind of our own and are capable of seeing a Bill of Goods being MARKETED as an Agent of Change.

  5. DD, you can speak for me any day of the week.

  6. Did you notice the part where ‘insiders say a better deal could still come’. Any deal where you get some money rather than no money is a better deal. Who writes this stuff?

  7. Thanks UW –

What day will be best for you? ;-D

  8. You pick, girl!

  9. Wonderful response DD and fabulous post UW! The 0 has hijacked the Democratic party…why should the powers that allowed him access to the party expect him to share?

  10. Of course he was drunk. In fact I could smell his boozy breath clear across the Web.

  11. Will Harry (the Weasel) Reid hold true to form and write Team Obama a nasty-gram about going back on his word?
Will he apologize the next day?
The Democratic Party’s run for the White House as portrayed on a Firesign Theater Album.

  12. A better deal? Is Obama going to drop out and endorse Hillary?

  13. Hahahah Mike. I HATE that you aren’t around more!

  14. Just for the record, Obama doesn’t care about black Americans either.

  15. Unfortunately you are very likely right. He only cares about being King.

I think the very most damage he has done is to African Americans. He played the race card so often that people are now desensitized to it. And that’s plain wrong. When real racism rears it’s ugly head, how will others react now?

He’s ruined it for women too. Set back gender and race relations back 40 years. I think that’s the thing that makes me the most angry about him. All for naught but his own gain.

  16. Democratic party “hangers-on” keep telling us to consider the ISSUES that have been important to us. Well, what about QUALIFICATIONS for the job of President?

If you were hiring a CEO of a company, which would be more important – the candidate’s stance on which products are most important for the company to market or the candidate’s ability to lead the company and make executive decisions?

In our vote for President we are selecting an individual to lead the EXECUTIVE branch. I’ll select my REPRESENTATIVE based on issues.

Just a portion of the story linked to above bears BOzo’s his share-the-wealth “stand” in quicksand =

David Frum writes today in The Week:

“McCain’s call for tighter standards on Wall Street point to the lesson to be learned from this crisis: The great national experiment in attempting to push the home ownership rate above 65 percent has ended in disaster. Future homebuyers will be held to higher standards of creditworthiness—and will have to put more money down.

Barack Obama’s attempt to condemn “Bush-McCain” economic policy evades the need to produce specific solutions of his own.

As we shift from crisis management to the tough work of devising a longer-term response to the mortgage debacle, we’ll be reminded of another big fact about Obama. He is a classic big-city welfare-state politician. He has lots of ideas about how to share wealth created by others—but very few about how to ensure that wealth is created in the first place.

In attributing the mess on Wall Street to “Bush McCain” policies, Obama omits a key point: the specific policy underlying the mess is one he has enthusiastically endorsed throughout his career—the use of public loan guarantees to stimulate private home construction.

As a state legislator, Obama famously championed “public-private partnerships” to renovate slum housing. On a very small scale, he was advocating the same approach that has stuck the taxpayer with liability for uncounted tens or hundreds of billions of dollars in Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac obligations. It didn’t work any better in Chicago than it worked in Washington and New York.”
