Back tracking on this is expected soon. Like with the Bracelet thing. Obama is starting to look like nothing short of a gangster threatening everyone into silence and submission.
Ironically, they are talking about “character attacks” here. This coming from a man who is the Ace at character attacks (See Hillary Clinton) and who has no character himself.
I think Governor Blunt gave a great explanation as to the difference between McCain’s “Truth Squad” and Obama’s Thug Squad. Mainly, McCain isn’t publically warning people that they might be breaking ethics laws in the state. I am pretty sure McCain isn’t threatening TV stations with cease and desist letters to stop Ads before they are even aired –as Obama is doing in Ohio and Pennsylvania with respect to the NRA, a group incidentally that knows exactly what Obama really is.

These “Truth Squads” are absolutely frightening! Now they are using sherrifs, not just lawyers (which an AG is).
Where the hell is the ACLU? They were virtually absent during the Gitmo on the Platte revelation, and now this? Is this yet another membership I have to cancel because they are so in the tank for Obama?
It seems they are getting nervous about the birth certificate issue. And preparing for whatever the October Surprise will be.

Now wait a minute, I’m old and from Arkansas; and I believe the ACORN thing first started as an attempt to get more equitable treatment for the poor, especially in the landlord/tenant area (and that was sorely needed).
I don’t know enough about it to mount a good argument, but I know that Bill Clinton was not trying to convert America to socialism or communism. I suspect it just falls under the “no good deed goes unpunished” category. You try to do something to help people, and somebody else comes along, perverts it beyond recognition, and voila, we have the present ultra-left organization specializing in vote fraud and, in the biggest irony of the day, helping to put in office Barack Obama, friend of slumlords.

I don’t believe that Bill was doing nothing more than helping. You’re correct in stating that you can start out with a concept that has good intentions. It is like cancer, you only need one bad cell to take off.
We have ACORN here that is constantly trying to manipulate environmental policy. They will pay your way, per diem and hotel in order to have bodies to count as votes. It is despicable.
Truth squad = Brown Shirts; Hilter = Obama.
If we haven’t learned from history then we are doomed to repeat it. Hilter was a smooth talker, offering hope and change. Then he lead Germany to destruction!
Also, I am concerned with the Iranian President’s assertions that America was going to destroyed from within, or there was going to be a big surprise ( can’t remember the exact word, but nonetheless). It left me thinking, is Obama the Trojan horse, the ONE who is destined to doom us as Germany was destroyed by Hilter. Or a vehicle for infiltration.
