We already discussed American Thinker’s most revealing article, “How Allies of George Soros Helped Bring Down Wachovia Bank“. The piece provided us with some very revealing information on the Sandlers of Wachovia fame — who cashed out before the mortgage crises, – as well as their ties to George Soros, Moveon, the Obama campaign and the “New” Democratic Socialist Party. This is such a large happy intertwined family attempting to control America politically and financially that it warrants an organizational chart. Fortunately, Muckety was kind enough to warn us provide a chart way back in January 2008.

As I have said before, I DO hope if the FBI is serious about this Wall Street situation, they are following George Soros and his friends 24/7. I would have liked to think they were following these people around long before now, but hey, I’m not that optimistic. The economy has tanked coincidentally just in time for Barack Obama to declare himself a savior.
Hope and Change. Indeed. It will be interesting to see how much Obama scrambles to see to it that the Trillion Dollar “rescue” Bill gets passed. While he appeared not just a little detached during the entire process, he seemed very agitated yesterday when that bill failed and that wasn’t my imagination. Socialism. So close to the Goal! Damn them!

Two California groups, Vote Hope and PowerPac.org, are drawing national attention, and boisterous complaints from opponents, for their support of Barack Obama’s run for the presidency.
Both are operating outside the Obama campaign as 527 organizations, taking advantage of tax-code provisions that exempt them from federal spending limits. And both were founded by Steve Phillips, former president of the San Francisco School Board and son-in-law of billionaire banker Herb Sandler.
Sandler is one of the lucky ones who cashed out before the mortgage crisis. Wachovia bought Sandler’s company, Golden West Financial, for $25.5 billion in October 2006. Forbes estimated his personal worth that year at $1.2 billion.
Like his son-in-law, Sandler is an active contributor to Democratic causes. He gave $2.5 million to Moveon.org in 2004, and has contributed more than $100,000 to the Democratic Senate and congressional committees in recent years.
He is also a backer of the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank headed by John Podesta, Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff.
The Sandler Family Supporting Foundation has supported medical research, with an emphasis on asthma. It also pledged $15 million to Human Rights Watch in 2005.
Sandler also founded a nonprofit journalism organization called ProPublica, which promises to produce “truly important stories with moral force.” ProPublica, based in Manhattan, is run by former Wall Street Journal managing editor Paul Steiger.
Slate’s media writer, Jack Shafer, has cast a cynical eye on the venture, suggesting that most self-made billionaires don’t give away pots of money without expecting some control over the results.
“If I were an editorial writer,” Shafer wrote in October, “I’d call upon Herbert Sandler to provide ProPublica with 10 years of funding ($100 million), and then resign from his post as the organization’s chairman so he’ll never be tempted to bollix up what might turn out to be a good thing.”Vote Hope and PowerPac.org, meanwhile, are definitely partisan. PowerPac is running TV spots in California, where it is hiring organizers to get out the vote for the Feb. 5 primary. Phillips has said that he hopes to raise $2 million for Vote Hope.
The Obama campaign on Friday released a letter sent to Phillips on Dec. 28, urging that Vote Hope be disbanded. Phillips declined.

I have despised Newt Gingrich for so long I am freaking out that I actually agree with him. He said last week that this bailout idea was just plain WRONG. And I cannot tell you how much I agree with him. I don’t know what’s happening to me, but I am agreeing with people I despised in past. Maybe it’s because I don’t want to be a socialist and have the “Pie” i worked for belong to somebody who did shit all his life. Maybe it’s because I love Democracy and because I love it, I believe very strongly that capitalism takes care of itself and is only in danger when fascists or socialists deliberately monkey wrench it…..which is what I sincerely believe is going on here. I am losing money here daily, yet I was at peace when that bill failed. Why is that?
money comes & goes. nothing good lasts forever.
i’m worried mainly about the job market. FL has 6% unemployment & the victims are not just unskilled workers. last time I left the State on contract my home was robbed. near impossible to sell right now.
would like to see the corporate taxes come down. too many good jobs are going to India or to Indian contractors who work cheap.
Hey raging, they couldn’t wait to give a trillion bucks to these people but did we hear any of them DEMAND to bring their damned jobs back to America, who will be PAYING to save them? The very people they screwed are paying THEM to survive?
Our business is in the construction industry, so not only is our 401K taking a hit, our business (which was already being affected…and we have downsized) would be slammed by a credit freeze. But I too felt some hope that Some congressmen were listening to their constituents……even if we are not economic masterminds…..maybe some on the Hill do still own their own souls?
I agree so vehemently about the conflict of interest in what has been presented to us in this bill……Paulson’s fortune was made by being the people he wanted to bail out!
The reason people are freaking out after the bill failed is that they had already “spent” the money in the bill! They thought they had it! But *the people* spoke…….and we have to stay engaged b/c Pelosi is going to stick it to us BIG time if we don’t stay alert!!
gagirl, I see you are taking your hit for Democracy. You and I both know that this will level out if the morons in DC stop being greedy and let the system play out. Oil has dropped 20 percent. We will see trees shaken and if we just ride a bit, in the end this will be BETTER not worse. Somebody yesterday told me I was crazy….namely my broker. But you know what? I have lived long enough to know when something stinks to high heaven. And this stinks to high heaven. And how come nobody is demanding that Wall street bring all their jobs back to America to the people they want to save their sorry asses!

My heart hurts for people living on shrinking nest eggs (like my mom and lots of good friends of ours). But again, I blame Paulson for even starting this bill…….meanwhile we are pumping major money into global markets without Congressional involvement. If Newt is right, there are things we can do without a bill…….get on it! The things are DE-regulating, though, and no one wants to give up control. Try those things on a temporary basis….NOW!

“Rules for Radicals” is Obama’s handbook — Newt’s read it, of course. Bill and Hillary have read it, and I’m going to read it. Everyone should read that book and beef up on the rules we’re playing by in this election! Honesty has been thrown out the door, and that HAS TO BE FACED! I loved on Fox this morning, the anchor said something to the effect that, yes, these are uncertain times, but they are not willing to throw headlines out there like another news channel that opened with “Say Goodbye to the American Dream”. They had on people that said we Need to do something, but there is not a credit Freeze, not the end of the market, not the end of the world. I did not even turn on another network this a.m. to see what they said. I no longer care what they say. Fox has on enough BO supporters to show me what they are spinning, that is all I want. I was tuned to FoxNews on my BB ALL the way home on my 9 hr road trip home and I was absolutely appalled, disgusted…but NOT at FoxNews.
I won’t even LOOK at our 401k because it’s all going to come out in the wash the way I see it. Wash, rinse, repeat. Throw some bleach (aka as Nay votes) in there and see it all come out clean and purified.

I had a chance to do Cavuto when all our sites got ditched by GOOGLE. I refused. It’s my experience that 15 minutes of fame ruins people and takes them away from the goal. I have seen too many bloggers lose their focus because they thought they would be famous. I don’t need 15 minutes of fame. My ego is very well intact. I know my goal, I’m a drop in a bucket but the bucket is getting full because there are so many like me. That’s the important thing. No one drop is the Kahuna, no matter who thinks he/she is.
