I never thought in my life I would ever appreciate someone like her SO much. Seriously, I really sold this country short and I apologize. There’s something to be said for people like her and McCain who are so fervently patriotic. THANK GOD!!!! All the degrees in the world won’t save us from this mess. Greetings from Chicago, Ms. UW! I’ve been traveling for a bit and haven’t been checking many blogs of late. Tonight was the first time for yours in weeks.

I fear that the MSM has sealed the fate and you’re going to have Obamanation for the next 4 years. I also predict that most Americans who voted for Obama will have buyers remorse after just 6 months.

Don’t stop fighting the good fight though. Maybe something will happen this month to turn things around for McCain & Palin. But I have not yet been able to think up an effective antidote to the O’Kool-Aid that has consumed so many in your nation.

Back home in Canada things are looking much brighter. It looks like our Conservative Party is headed to majority status on October 14th, though that is not certain yet either.

Interesting times we live in.

P.S. Notice that the $700 Billion had no effect on the markets!!

Thanks for the post. I remember Mark Rudd from my childhood/youth. Recall the face.

Also recall the fellow ahead of me in high school who went on to date a pretty radical gal. She wanted to go to Cuba to cut sugar cane in Cuba for Fidel (part of the Radical movement). Guess she wanted to get an “education”, too. It was the hip, cool and fashionable thing to do. She may have gone, but he didn’t (thank Heavens!).

Like others, I thought it got to be a bit much back then, too. Now it’s really scary.
