Yet Another Barack Obama Baloney Alert!
Barack Obama had the Audacity Of Mendacity to pimp this brazen lie today. Lucky for him, his ears don’t grow every time he lies:
“Let’s be clear who John McCain is fighting for — he’s not fighting for Joe the Plumber, he’s fighting for Joe the Hedge Fund Manager,”
Increasingly arrogant because he knows his personal PR team in the main stream media won’t call him on any filthy lie he tells, Obama has once again not only lied in America’s face, but done it without a hint of conscience….a habit he has mastered, because it is becoming increasingly apparent that he has no soul.
Well I was just wondering then, Barack, since we are “being clear here”: If John McCain is fighting for Joe The Hedge Fund Manager, how come Joe The Hedge fund Manager has given you so much money?
Before you scrub the net, Barack, there are pages upon pages dating all the way to last year, that discuss how much Wall Street and Hedge Fund Managers are in love with you. Now why is that?
In fact, as I was researching this latest lie of yours, I could hardly keep up with all the links and all the names…..and all the money! Gratefully, the fast and efficient American Thinker got ahead of this issue in September.
Let’s keep one thing in mind. As even the liberal New York Times has stated:
Barack Obama is the candidate of the hedge funds because of the outsized support these titans of mismanagement have heaped upon him.
George Soros-hedge fund pioneer and titan-was early in his support. As emperor of a range of 527 groups, he has wielded his influence to help his largest political investment to date: Barack Obama.
But it’s not just the master of economic manipulation George Soros who loves Barack Obama. No sir. As if April 2008:
Many of the top 10 managers on Alpha magazine’s mind-blowing 2007 rich list, which was released last week, have put money on Obama, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks campaign contributions. They have each given the maximum donation allowed: $2,300. (Let’s face it, this is pocket lint to these guys.)
Obama’s hedge fund contributors include managers:
John Griffin, the founder of Blue Ridge Capital, who made $625 million in 2007, according to Alpha. Griffin is backing Obama after initially supporting Mitt Romney.
Kenneth Griffin (no relation) of Citadel Investment Group in Chicago, who earned $1.5 billion. He contributed to the Obama campaign after the senator went to his office last year.
Stephen Mandel Jr. of Lone Pine Capital, who took home $710 million last year.
And, of course, George Soros, who earned almost $3 billion last year. It is no surprise that Soros, a Democratic stalwart, is backing Obama. Soros campaigned against President Bush in 2004, and Moveon.org, which Soros has plied with tens of millions of dollars, endorsed Obama in February.
Well now wait. If you were a very very rich hedge fund manager and you wanted to give WAY more money to your special candidate, you would have to be……..a……bundler. That’s a person who puts the hammer on employees and other people dependent upon him or her –and collects up large sums via small donations. That way they don’t look like lobbyists but they get all the “credit” for the “Bundle”–and the greasy political recipient gets to call all those donations gifts from “the little guy”. Sound familiar? As a matter of fact, some of them actually are lobbyists, but I digress.
Now why is it that hedge fund lobbyists bundlers have raised more than twice as much money for Barack Obama than for John McCain? I mean, John McCain is the one looking out for Joe The Hedge Fund Bundler right?
Right.
[July 2008 figures below]
New figures show the Illinois senator and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has drawn $822,375 in campaign contributions from employees of hedge funds, compared to $348,300 for his Republican rival, Arizona Sen. John McCain.
The figures, compiled for Reuters by the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan campaign finance research group, reflect mounting concern over the rising cost of health care and other domestic issues where several hedge fund managers said Mr. Obama had an edge over Mr. McCain.
….snip….[Now for the bundlers as of July 2008]
Employees at $20 billion hedge fund Citadel Investment Group, run by Kenneth Griffin, rank as Mr. Obama’s top hedge fund backers, donating $185,300 to their home-state senator so far.
Employees at New York-based Taconic Capital Advisors donated $42,650 to Mr. Obama and $500 to Mr. McCain, while employees at D.E. Shaw & Co, also headquartered in New York, gave $41,915 to Mr. Obama and nothing to Mr. McCain.
Now why is it that Barack Obama fancies that John McCain is looking out for Joe The Hedge Fund Manager when Joe The Hedge Fund Manager keeps giving more of his money to Barack Obama? Must be because Joe The Hedgefund Manager always gives more money to the guy who is going to screw him, right?
Right. Well that’s not what THEY think:
“People are clearly looking to gain influence with the candidates down the line and are making their bets accordingly,” said a hedge fund manager in Chicago who declined to be identified so he could speak candidly.
Well, I guess they must just be financial masochists then. Because, according to Barack Obama, it’s John McCain who is looking out for them, right?
Right. So then why is it that Hedge Fund “Heavies” have been hostingsome very lucrative fundraising bashes for Barack Obama?
The first was co-hosted by George Soros, the financier and former hedge fund manager, and Paul Tudor Jones, who runs the giant hedge fund Tudor Investment Corporation. That event, held in Mr. Jones’s $25 million waterfront mansion — which Vanity Fair’s Nina Munk has described as a “a cross between Tara and a national monument” — collected $2,300 from each of the approximately 300 attendees, the Greenwich Time reported.
Wow, nice digs Mr. Jones! Way better than the digs Tony Rezko finagled for Barack, but Barack wants one just like yours.
Now wasn’t that sweet of Mr. Jones? I mean how many hedge fund managers would host a bash like that for Barack Obama, who “Isn’t looking out for him”? I mean, one would think that, since John McCain is the one looking out for him, he would have hosted that bash for John McCain, right?
Right.
So, Barack, are you sure you don’t want to withdraw that lie you told mistake you made regarding exactly who is looking out for Joe The Hedgefund Manager?
Oh and one more question, Barack. Where there any plumbers at these parties? Just wondering.

Good post UW. check this.
Gutfeld: Obama Is as Untouchable as a Really Hot Chick
By Greg Gutfeld
Host, “Red Eye”
So yesterday, during an ideas meeting, a staffer pitched a story about Sarah Palin, focusing on how little we know about her time in college.
My blood pressure spiked, because naturally her history — or lack thereof — is far less murkier than Barack Obama’s. But it didn’t seem to matter, because no matter what you have against the man, it just doesn’t stick.
Seriously, the man isn’t a presidential candidate, he’s a really hot chick. You know what I mean, right?
You know how when a friend starts dating some girl, let’s say a stripper with top of the line implants, he overlooks everything else. She could be spreading Chlamydia like a Jehovah’s Witness unloading a case of Watchtower pamphlets, and it won’t matter.
Blinded by beauty, he lets her get away with everything, until your buddy is left broken and broke, riddled with disease, sleeping in your garage and convinced a mob boyfriend wants him dead.
I’m not saying Barack is that harmful. I’m just saying that when it comes to the media, he possesses a force field that every hot chick has and no matter what you say or do to convince obsessed fans otherwise, it’s pointless.
Face it: If you found out that your new girlfriend, who happened to be Megan Fox, worked with ACORN, hung around with Bill Ayers and used to do coke back in college, would you care?
Of course you wouldn’t! It’s Megan Fox!
Congratulations. You’re now The New York Times.
And if you disagree with me, then you sir are worse than Hitler.
Don’t be snarky UW. According to Jake Tapper, Barky told audiences in Virginia yesterday that he has “a righteous wind” behind his back. Maybe it will blow him to kingdom come.
To know, know, know him is to hate, hate, hate him…and I DO
He’s got a lot of hot air at his back.
Wowie zowie, Uppity! That post be a bullseye hit with an explosive arrowhead!!! I was steaming when I read about that comment by BHO, and now I feel better.
Glad to oblige, NES
This is funny:

Sometimes Fox News makes me sick. Why do they have air Obama speaking at campaign rally like now…he’s spewing lies about McCain for Joe the hedge fund managers. I knew he lied straight away. And the crowd believe him??? Why his supporters never questioned where Sept – $150 million contribution comes from? It almost makes me believe how stupid half of tha people in America are for voting this piece of shit/asshole. Am sorry if I offended anyone by saying that. But it looks like that way, more and more.
I swear, oneday, Obama will even lie to himself till he believes he’s god. The sound of his voice alone makes me sick. If he ever stepped to my side of the world, I will throw rotten at his lying face. I swear I will.
Sorry for swearing. Amm so mad!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope PoliticoMom is not reading this. Hehehe…
Anyone here familiar with Second Life? Its a virual reality alternative universe. Apparently they are holding a virtual election:
http://www.topix.net/content/ap/2008/10/get-real-virtual-campaign-draws-followers
My guess is its full of young people (mostly Obama supporters). Hopefully it will e the only place many of them cast their vote (as I bet its a real world to many of them)
I tried to take a peek but do not want to register, so who knows what is going on in there
The NY Times has already spun that into a story today saying that joint committee contributions by hedge fund managers are higher for McCain (or something like that……I seem to be lulled into a trance when I read “journalism” in the NYT). I am sure they wouldn’t outright LIE, would they? Or is that the definition of Nuance? Here’s the quote:
In contrast, donations from the private equity and hedge fund industries accounted for a significantly greater amount of the giving from Mr. McCain’s largest donors, compared with Mr. Obama’s.
Nuance.
I try not to read the NYT anymore, really I do. I get caught on RCP and click an interesting sounding article, and then, poof……there it is. And it is not interesting. It is maddening. Blech.
Dear Kat. Got your message.
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
cats I just can’t click. I just can’t bring myself to read what these dumb shits who know nothing of life are thinking. The little Commies will be saying WHAT WAS I THINKING? in ten years.
Can’t blame you. I am just hoping they vote in their virtual world and stay out of our world
I was stunned to see Obama asking all of his supporters to donate “just $10 dollars more each”. What is he doing with all of this money???? Why aren’t more people in this country baffled by this money monger???
TWS, he has spent over half a trillion dollars and he can’t close the deal.
Oh and before the primaries the MSM said the dems should be able to run a trained monkey and win walking away without even breaking a sweat.
I guess their trained monkey isn’t very good.
Uppity Woman. That can’t be his mom. The middle pic sort of looks like her…but I just don’t think so.
Who the hell knows. I’ve only seen like 5 pix of her and never saw her like that, nor in that profile..sigh. lol.
New Gallop is out with McCain gaining slightly. Interesting, it is very close w/o new voters and less close with them. Another poll then shows that there really are not that many new voters?
Take a look:
http://www.gallup.com/Home.aspx
More good poll news:
http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/10/second_national.html
cats, the record of new voters was in 1972 when 18-20 year olds were allowed to vote for the first time in history. McGovern registered record numbers of them.
The “New registrations” also include republicans, independents, and anybody who has moved and must register again in another state or county.
In april the number of ALL these categories was a little over 3 million. A pittance compared to the baby boomers McGovern registered. BABY BOOMERs, the largest block of kids in the history of America.
Bill O’Reilly has a very articulate young woman on the radio right now. She was initially for Obama but has come around to McCain because she actually researches the candidates and Obama has too much baggage. She said most young people are for Obama because they think its “cool.” (We believe that, right)? Anyway, this woman mentioned some poll showing the race close (the AP poll yesterday?) and pointed out it was a mostly cell phone poll and those polls usually reach Obama supporters more than anyone. Hmmm.
I’m not too concerned about an over whelming amount of youth votes. I was a raging young anti-Ronald Reagan “voter” years ago. I was so adamant that Reagan not get elected that I did everything in my power to stop him but one thing. Want to take a guess what that was?
Yes, I did not bother to go vote!!!!
I’m getting pretty frustrated. WHY would anyone think Obama is better than McCain (or anyone else, for that matter) on the economy? This man has taken money from anything that moves and some things that haven’t moved in years! He’s the biggest political whore ever, yet somehow people manage to believe that he won’t suck every penny you’ll earn for the rest of your life to pay off his buddies. WTF??? Someone needs to explain this to me, cus I just don’t get it!
Has America has electro shock therapy?
[...] From my blog, Uppity Woman. [...]
Ok okay..so everything is tanking and there is a chicago combo taking over the US government write before your eyes…yeah, thats crawling skin thin yiu’re feeling.
i am not exactly joe, but I am wondering if they have johnny-on-the-spot 810 billion dollars…why then have we had a Social Security Crises for the past 20 years? Hmmm, it would be nice if somebody important would think replenishing THAT fund would be a good idea or something…
Privatize your social programs, comrades. Put it in the Stock Market.
Mattresses!
Stocks and Bonds = Public Punishment in the Colonies, baaaaaaaccck in the day. And Pensions were Securities.
Wonderful piece UW!
Many people equate Wall Street with republicans. This is incorrect . A lot, I might even say a slight majority of people on Wall Street are democrats, and a good number are liberals. Both candidates have received money from Wall Street. In fact, there are more strings binding Obama to Wall Street
This is not an attack against the rich. I don’t believe in class warfare. However, the idea that Obama is going to help the middle class more than McCain is FALSE.
Yesterday, Congress questioned the large credit rating firms. I looked at the political contributions made by the people at these companies. Democrats got significantly more contributions, and Obama received more money than McCain.
From 1997-present
Standard & Poor’s
Democrats – $68,200 ($15,900 to Obama — only talking about this election cycle)
Republicans – $10,600 ($1,750 to McCain)
Moody’s
Democrats-$54,300 ($9,500 to Obama and $3,800 to MoveOn)
Republicans- $20,000($2,000 to McCain)
Fitch Ratings
Democrats – $27,200 ($3,800 to Obama)
Republicans – $3,000 ($2,000 to McCain)
This does not include donations under $200. I added all the numbers by hand so…
