I read at NQ that there are bots saying this is a lie and a setup. After all, CNN and MSNBC aren’t covering it.

    On another blog I read these guys were New Black Panthers, and they’re insane enough to pull something like this off to ‘fight white supremacy’.

    Trouble could be brewing for BO in an other regard: the independent Waki-report on the post-election voilence in Kenya has been endorsed by the PNU (Kibaki and co) but – after an internal struggle- rejected by ODM (Odinga). The Waki-report finally confronts the long-time problem of accountability, and Odinga doesn’t like it. Either an international tribunal may follow, or again voilence by BO’s bossom-buddy.

    I have no idea what this portends, but I live in an overwhelmingly Republican precinct in Charlotte, NC. It keeps reelecting a Republican congresswoman who is a big loser, as well as a crackpot county commissioner. I chose to wait until today to vote because there is never a long line and I figured that this year it would be really short since Republicans were likely to be really demoralized. . To my surprise the line was huge! Maybe that means that a lot of Republicans have waited but are voting in large numbers. Of course the question is whether they are switching to vote for a Obama, but that seems hard to believe. In the 14 years I have lived here I have never waited more than 20 minutes and today it took about two hours. And this is a precinct that always has a decent turnout. Very strange.
    When I got home I heard Karl Rove talking about some largely Republican precinct where the lines were short late this afternoon. It turns out that they had had a huge turnout and most people in the precinct had already voted early in the day.

    I used to go to philly on business. Well actually valley forge. Drove through Philly. They never have any sunshine. The other thing I remember were those birds acting like rodan flying next to your car as you drove through.

    After talking to some of my friends, I realized that a lot of them voted when the polls opened, at 7 am, because they needed to be at work. I’ll bet it was busy then with all those capitalists. With my kids home today, I got to go at 10, and then went to the office. It was Take Your Kids to Vote and Work Day here.
