I have to tell you that this video of the woman in ecstasy discussing how Barack Obama will make it she won’t have to worry about gas or her mortgage remains the single most searched line that brings readers to this site in the past three days.
The post still receives a minimum of 600 reads daily. I thought you might like to see the Google search lines people are using to find out if The One will give them free gasoline and pay off their home mortgages for them. I think it provides a glimpse into what people are thinking……….and what some are expecting.

I almost feel sorry for them. They are going to be sadly disappointed. Either that, or a large portion of tax-paying Americans are going to become expatriots in a huge hurry.
Notice how none of them uses the words “tax payer” when referring to free gas and houses. It’s “Obama” they refer to. I would think more appropriate search strings would be:
“I voted for OoooooooooooBaaaaaaaaaMaaaaaaa. He Barrrrrracksss! So where’s my house and free money and free self-esteem and stuff? He promised!”
” When will Obama suck the blood of tax payers so that I can get a free home and gas?”
I want my free gas but I don’t have a car. Can I get a free car too?

“My neighbor has a way better house than I do. He’s hardly ever there because he works all the time just like a typical capitalist pig. Can’t I just have his house?”
“After I get my house for free and can’t afford the utilities, maintenance and taxes, will Obama raise taxes some more so he can take care of that for me?”
“After the taxpayers bail out all the mortgage companies that went down because they gave mortgages to people like me, how soon will I be able to get my new house by forcing them to give me a mortgage?
I voted for Obama and I have pretty much spent down all my parents’ savings and they can’t afford my car lease and insurance, cell phone contract and other important stuff– so there’s no sense of living with them any longer. When can I expect my free house and money and stuff?
** I personally would feel a bit skittish about providing a mortgage contract to someone who cannot spell “mortgage”. I would bet that it’s safe to say that a person who cannot spell “mortgage” probably wouldn’t read the contract before signing it–nor would they bring someone who could spell “mortgage” to read it for them before they signed– thus leaving us all with the financial burden of their “victimization”.

Uppity, Sorry this post is out of order — it’s intended to be to your post re blaming women. Because you got so many comments (and rightly so!) the page is too large for me to access on my BB. And, I haven’t had access to a computer in days.
That was a most excellent and courageous post. And, sorely needed as I have been increasingly dismayed by the number of anti-Hillary comments on the internet — including, shock horror, on this venerable site! I can understand people’s frustrations with Obama’s win, but to blame Hillary for that is not remotely justified. She’s a politician, not Joan of Arc forsworn to protect us from Obama. The fact is her presidential prospects were savagely destroyed by Obama, the Obamacrat party and its so-called “leaders,” the nasty BloggerBoyz, and by the idiotic Dem primary voters. Requiring her now to jump on to the funeral pyre is asking too much. She needs to preserve what she can of her political career, not kill herself like an opera diva. Fix the blame for Obama where it belongs…on our paisanos and the MSM.

What the Obama worshippers should be googling is The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg. Bush is running up the debt to an incomprehensible number in order to grant all the wishes of the corporate executives who have run their companies into the ground. By the time Obama is actually sworn in, I don’t know who will still be willing to loan money to us, so where he’ll get the money to do the 40 acres and an SUV thing can only be directly from our pockets and 401(k)s. No one loans 100 dollars then writes it down to 75 dollars without a means to collect the lost 25 dollars. They will pay via a future sale or they will be obligated for the dollars. Most likely many will never pay as they will default again. Wash, rinse, repeat. There is nothing in this entire bailout for we the people except the bill we all will have to pay. This may be on the Bushes watch but it was the Dems (Freddie/Fannie) and the banksters who (most of whom supported Obama) that launched the toxic bullet. Uppity, the idea of taking over someone’s house reminds me of seeing “Dr, Zhivago” on the local PBS last night. Recall how Yuri comes back from the front after WW I (and the Bolshevik Revolution) to his home in Moscow, only to find dozens of strangers living there who claim there was room for umpty-ump families, while his own is sequestered to one room.
If what we have about to take over the reigns of government in America is a bunch of modern-day Bolsheviks, this may not be so far-fetched (given they may be so far left).

Whatever happened to the 5th Amendment, including no taking of property by the government without compensation? Of course the Supreme Court ruling on the Kelo v. City of New London case made a mockery of that one, in MHO.
Or, instead of regarding my house as a taking, they could invoke police powers, and claim there’s some immediate necessity for our property. For the Proliterate!
But why do I bother to invoke the U.S. Constitution for a president-elect we’re not sure was qualified to run under that same Constitution?
Liberty the 5th amendment landed in the crapper on the day the Supremes made it ok for any government to “eminent domain” your property for progress.

I tried for months to convince people that a lot of O’s backing came from the exact same people who gave us W. They just switched parties and the once again the majority was hoodwinked – or decided to sit this one out – its been the plan all along.
The Dems I knew (I am unaffiliated) would not listen becuase they wanted a win so bad they would (and did) sell their souls). They still insist O has gotten this far fa and square. The Reps were still too miffed that people were angry at Bush – not to mention they did nothing for their own candidate.
Neither Dem nor Rep people wanted McCain. McCain does not owe them anything – he is a lose cannon -and that is now the endangered species within politics. A person who is not “corporate sponsored” just like the stadiums, all the renamed bowl games, and just about everything else.
Ruby, their pride is very touching. I know this means a lot to them. Too bad Obama used them for their votes because he will NEVER be able make good on all the promises he made. Nor do I think he intends to. Barack Obama is a very self absorbed man. In the end, he knows he must rule from the center or never be elected again.

It is sad, that those that feel they have the most invested, may just be those that feel the greatest betrayal if their expectations are not met. But, who is to blame here? Some responsibility, not all, but some is definitely Obama’s, for in a sense, he gave them license to feel this. He needed them to feel this way, and bet on them feeling this way. And the Democratic party had everything to gain from allowing people to feel this. But the point now is, who will guide them now through the realities of politics? Obama will not, at least not honestly, nor will his followers/enablers.
Obama was able to leave all those people under the famous bus simply because those were people he collected and needed along the way in his very calculated political career. He has given the impression that these were not people he cherished closely or dearly, which is why it was so easy to leave them behind once they no longer proved useful to him. And he will do the same with all these people counting on him. Obama wanted to become President to help people, and make the world a better place? Hardly. I will never believe that about him. He was in this for himself. The question now is whether the people truly make him accountable, in a way he has never been to date?
