The Taliban sympathizers and members want to maintain an attitude that keeps women unhealthy, unfed, uneducated.

This is not culture.

This  is criminal.

We cannot have a free, prosperous, peaceful progressive world if women are treated in this way. The state department will have a very active women’s office — a very active office on human trafficking, a modern form of slavery — which is primarily a slavery of women and girls.”.

Do we think Barack Obama would see to this problem? A man who not only clearly has shown no interest in women’s rights and equality, but who sneered at and enabled the bashing of those rights himself,  setting gender relations back a minimum of 50 years. The man who refused to join the call for a boycott of the Olympic Games because he wanted to negotiate Chicago 2016, Darfur be damned?

Or perhaps we should depend on the New NOW Light,  which has narrowed its idea of Feminism and Women’s Rights to abortion and Political Correctness that turns a blind eye to extreme religious beliefs which endanger women’s lives and rights daily–and do not bother to notice that it is sickeningly creeping into our own country?

Or perhaps we can depend on MS Magazine, whose current watered down conception of What a Feminist Looks Like  includes a sexist guy dressed like Superman–a ’superman’ who enabled the bashing of a superior woman in order to become President.

Or shall we depend on Hillary instead?
