    Have you heard about the Obama/Rush Limbaugh war? Apparently there is a Dem petition to silence Rush because (they took this out of context of course) – Rush said he hopes Obama fails. He actually said something more like he hopes he fails in pushing his leftist socialist agenda through.     Ok… listening , I found Rush had a pretty good idea in regard to the stimulus plan. This is how it goes: Obama got 54% of the vote and McCain got 46%. The stimulus money should therefore be split with Obama getting 54% to do with what he will (you know, condoms, lawns, Acorn etc) and the other 46% should go to all the tax cuts the Ruplicans want (capitol gains etc). Then we can all sit back and see which plan works and which doesn’t . :-)

    I’ve found that I can now watch some of the political shows again. Hardball (the replay is on in an hour) had Republican Dick Amrey and Salon.com’s Obama girl Joan Walsh on. At one point, Armey got tired of her manufacture outrage and said he was glad he wasn’t married to her so he doesn’t have to hear her all the time. Sexist, I know, but she blew a gasket after he said that. Good way to distract your opponent.

    At least the House Republicans have some spine. Not one voted for the Stimulus bill. * Democrats voted against it, but it wasn’t enough. Let’s see how cowardly the Senate is.

    Too bad rush didn’t have that idea when his nutbags were in charge. Because the real problem we are living with is, no matter which party is in “charge” they act like assholes and waste money for their own special interests and they ignore the other party’s wishes. When it’s the other party’s turn to waste money, they do the same. Funny how Rush forgets that.

    We will also now watch Obama blame Bush for everything under the sun, true or not. Just like Bush did to Clinton.

    I have no respect for Rush. He is an exteremist nutbag who resents extremist nutbags who are his opposite. That makes him no better than they are.
