I copped this from Murphy and I was incensed when I saw it.
Here’s Senator Shithead Kyl, telling everyone he doesn’t want obstetrics covered in health care reform policies because he is never going to need it and shouldn’t have to pay for it. And here’s Senator Stabenow, who is smarter and faster (and definitely better preserved!) than he is — reminding him that his MOTHER needed it.

I hate women THIS much!
Let me tell you something, Senator Shithead. I don’t want to pay for your god damned prostate exams and problems either. And I don’t want to pay for your Viagra so you can pretend you are good in bed, you decrepit old fart.
I don’t want to pay for your freaking testosterone patches because you are getting old and ran out of the old hormone and are turning into a girl. And I don’t want to pay for anything that has anything to do with your dick or your balls. How’s that, Senator Shithead? And I bet you wave a Pro Life flag, don’t you, Senator Shithead? Oh yeah, for sure you do, you ignorant bastard.

"This is not culture. This is not custom. This is criminal."
What a Dick.
what an a$$hole.
Too bad his mother’s birthing process was successful.
Can’t say the the same for the child.
Both parties suck shit.
Bill Clinton thinks we’re “TEABAGGERS” too!
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) said Clinton described the ongoing tea party protests against the Democratic agenda as a sign his party was making progress.
Whitehouse quoted Clinton arguing: “The reason the tea-baggers are so inflamed is because we are winning.”…
Yeah Leslie, I bet his mother wished plenty of times that she had oral sex instead.
Well said, UW. Nonsense emanating from a nonthinking talking head. His mother is probably cross with him right now, from the heavens beyond, wondering what happened to him that made him snap out those doozies.
What an asshole! I wonder if he wants to pay for contraception? This pos has a daughter, a son & 4 grandchildren. I suppose none of his offsprings births were paid for with insurance…
Another “Compassionate Conservative”.
I gotta say, the problem is that the medical industry is totally unfair. I get a lot of crap for being against universal health care on this board (not that I mind) but there are 3 things I have to point out.
1. This bill IN NO WAY represents universal health care.
2. Every major industrialized country on earth with UHC is running a halth care deficit.
3. Something’s gotta give. Either we have to lower the cost of health care or people are not going to get everything. Even then, people are going to die from waiting, through the lack of new medical technology or government death decisions.
great post as usual Uppity
Yeah you do take a lot of crap P4. And that’s why I love you.
Choosing between the two parties is like being asked if you would rather have your shit sandwich on wheat or white bread.
We have wheat in the white house, that is a cross between rye and white isnt it? I’ll take the white bread party next time.
I still love you guys. Some boards are just full of echo chamber asses.
Jay that analogy is FUCKING BRILLIANT!
e.DE,
The Clinton’s both put party before country. If no one else here will say it, I will. They can go fuck themselves.
ROF Mary I about peed myself. Hey never have I sung the praises of the Clintons sorry but I said before Hilary was out for what ever to get her where she wanted to be. JMO but when she jumped on board with the pond scum that was out damaging her at every turn in the road on her campaign she proved it to me and many others who did support her.
And P4 you are not the only one here lmao that takes shit over non support of a national health care system.
My logic is simple it is socialism and name me one thing that is government run that worked.
Hell the Federal government got the Mustang Ranch in Nevada for taxes and tried to run it and you got it they could not even make a whore house turn profit or run right.
Neither party has our rights and wants in mind. They see us as slaves and what what we can provide. This gal is fed up with it and working many hours daily raising hell. The ” Teabaggers” a name I am none to happy being called but none the less are making great ground here in Utah. Our state government is listening and they even come to our meetings. Our Governor is already planning on telling the Fed to stuff health care up their ass. He is working with the ” People” trying to figure out a state law and plan that will work.
utah,
Here’s a comment I left at DE’s blog tonight about Hillary.
I guess we all realized from the minute she started campaigning for oilsoc with such vigor that Hillary was not who we thought she was, and that she had sold us out. Nothing she has said or done since becoming his head cheerleader has changed my mind. To the contrary.
One little example, of no moment, but very telling:
When she was interviewed by Greta last week, Hillary was suddenly saying Pokistan (POCKistan), in imitation of oilsoc. Greta, God love her, never wavered in her pronunciation of Pakistan (PACKistan). About three quarters of the way through the interview, Hillary went back to the normal American pronunciation that Greta was using, but at the very end she clearly remembered her indoctrination and reverted to POCKistan.
And I wrote that before I knew that her whore-mongering husband was calling the people who once voted for him and supported his wife filthy names. What a pair of traitors!
Hey, Kyl,
I have no school age children, so I’ll just stop paying taxes to support public schools. Actually, considering the sinkholes public schools have become that’s not a bad idea.
Mary @ 3:20, great illustration! I’m disappointed in the Clintons myself, but the 90’s do seem like “Happy Days” to me now.
P4P, you are always a good sport!
Uppity, you’ve been on top of your game all week. We’re off on vacation, but will miss you all! See you in 8 days!
Mary at 3:16 am
About Hillary, yes, regretfully. Although it is probably closer to the way Pakistani’s pronounce their country’s name in their own language.
Rambling on a bit, I think O pronounces it Pockiston. So I’m wondering why he does not pronounce Afghanistan as Afgoniston.
After their WH years, I’ve had on and off trouble understanding BC in particular and HC to a lesser extent. At times I can believe that they are stellar followers of ‘The Golden Rule.’
Right now I think both of them should keep their health care opinions to themselves. No one, and I mean NO ONE EXCEPT UW in an earlier post, is owning up to the cost we’ve borne for the hc companies having antitrust exemptions for decades.
And UW: your are really pouring this good stuff out. Love hearing your views about Kyl. So glad you got the new computer.
I was surprised by Clinton’s reference to tea party people.
Both parties are disgusting.
Oh Brother….This reminds me of childless homeowners who don’t want to pay school district taxes because they don’t have children…..There are idiots on both sides of the aisle….always has been….Good catch Uppity….
http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/11/to_hell_with_the_constitution.html
Hey I hope you don’t mind me being honest with you folks. I want you to go to the archives on the left of the home page here. This blog started in March 2008 with one purpose and only one purpose. That was to elect Hillary Clinton. I was very passionate about this. I would kill to have Bill Clinton back as president again as well. My life and the lives of everyone I knew were distinctly more comfortable than they have ever been since, without getting into personals, I do not just admire Hillary from afar. As I said, I have been heavily involved in politics and my support of her goes all the way back to when she first ran for senate. I will bet not one of you has met her or worked with her. And I would bet that not one of you understands politics at a personal trench level. It’s a jungle out there. Trust me, I’m not just making this up. It’s poker. It’s chess. It’s kickboxing. All rolled in together. You got to know when to hold!
Ok, I digress. What I want to say here is I am a rabid hillary supporter and while I find disappointment today, I also know it is because she is MARGINALIZED. I also know that she is very smart, smarter than Bill really, smarter than me and smarter than most of you, and she understands the art of Timing. Frankly, I don’t know what you expect from her. Would you like her to go on Natiional TV and tell Obama to go fuck himself? Exactly how long do you think she would be SOS after that move?
Sometimes I am angry at her, but then I realize what I know about how this all flies and I realize she is doing what she has to do because SHE WORKS for him, not you or me. She serves at HIS pleasure, not ours. And she’s no fool. I have to remind myself of this when she is doing something I don’t think she would do if SHE were President. But even in my anger, I never imagine calling her names or speaking of her in a hateful way. This is what I am reading here and it REALLY bothers me.
This blog is and always will be a sanctuary for Hillary supporters. I will protect them in the very same way I protect all of you from Obots. When you reduce hillary to a pile of crap you reduce me to a pile of crap.
I watched hillary be BRUTALLY trashed and I watched sexism and misogyny at it’s worst. What was done to her was disgusting and it has carried over to EVERY woman in this country as we watch the respect for the gender sink to all time sewer lows. This is why to this day you will NEVER see an Obot on this forum. This blog is not a democracy. It’s a blog that is very discerning and that is why many of you return. You know you can come here and not have some pissant Obot trash you. Mostly, you are all grateful for that, right? Well to be honest, if you are going to shit all over Hillary, I might as well invite Obots to do it. When I see her trashed in an emotional hateful way AGAIN, I remember why I started this blog, and I would like you to remember it too. I planned to close this blog down after the candidacy wasl illegitimately handed to Obama. I kept it going because of all the great people who wanted me to keep going. But when I see the same kind of hate for her that I had to incur from Obots, I am inclined to close the doors.
That is all. I implore you to take the Hillary bashing elsewhere or risk driving me away. There are tons of NeoCon and NeoLiberal sites to do that at. you can go to kossacks or any of the freeper sites and shit on her all you want. I mean, really, there are some “great” places on the web where you can crap all over Hillary. Bigger and more popular than mine too! You can even call her a cunt if you want to! How cool is that? But Why do this to Me?
Hope you understand where I am coming from and don’t forget how I got here and what my purpose was–and know I stay because you all want me to. But if my blood is going to boil again, I see no healthy point in it for me.
If you don’t understand that his is what politics is and always will be about, then you have only been peeking in from the edge.

” This blog is and always will be a sanctuary for Hillary supporters. I will protect them in the very same way I protect all of you from Obots. ”
Thanks Uppity…..That’s why this is my favorite blog & has been since I discovered it during the primaries…..YOU ROCK!
Plenty of childless homeowners in this old fart’s city paid taxes to send his kids and grandkids to school. This is why I hate Neo Cons. THey are the most self-serving lot of gasbags who only care about how things affect their own bottom line. Despicable really. As dispicable as the Regressives, who seemed to have learned many of their tactics from them.
WCA, I’m not an idiot but paying over $1000 a year to fund local and state schools having never attended them and having no children attending them, while people that don’t own homes and have lots of kids pay nothing at all…kinda pisses me off.
I’m just sayin the argument is kinda silly imho….I mean or 5 years I had no vehicle…..so did I stop paying taxes for roads etc….Some taxes are paid for a “common good”
Is it a mess….sure because corruption run rampant in our current culture….It’s a tough dilemma….BUT I don’t want to live in Dickensian England either….Hmmmm….
( BTW….This was the argument my vegan progressive childless sister & her husband used to make once they became homeowners….I told them at last their school districtwasn’t as corrupt as the one lived in. )
I don’t even know what to say. That people would come here and bash Hillary, I mean…WTF? The people who support Hillary, are the only people who make sense to me. This place is not only a sanctuary for me, it is the place where I find clarity of thought. Uppity, you are always dead on with your wisdom, and I believe you are on the path we should take through this mess we are in. If you closed the blog, it would be devastating for me.
Not to worry, Swell. I’m here. I started out writing to myself. I had no readers. If I recall correctly, No Empty Suits was my first commenter. I never intended to please anyone, my goal was to say what I believed, do some research and document it all. Maybe one day, my blog will go back to that, but it still won’t change who I am and what I write. Say what you want about me, but Fickle isn’t a word that describes me. I really don’t see a place for me in 2012 because I suspect there is no way I can support either of the candidates that will be out there. I supported McCain but I surely wasn’t thrilled about him. He was definitely the better of two bad choices. I felt at least he would do no serious harm and would protect my country. This time around, there is no way I am supporting a meddling neocon and I surely cannot support Obama. Ron Paul might start to look really good to me.
Did you catch the other guy that was comparing women to smokers, uppity? He was also trying to imply that being a woman was a pre-existing condition which he shouldn’t have to be burdened with. Made me so mad I was thinking we should just off his tallywager in the name of cost effectiveness.
It’s true some R’s can piss you off. But I do have to give them credit, at least they have the balls to stand up in public and state their twisted beliefs. D’s just sweet talk you and then sneak in provisions that require women to pay more. If you’re going to screw me over, at least have the decency to drag that crap out into the sunlight.
I don’t even know what the term neocon means anymore. I thought it meant someone who was for personal responsibility, and a strong military defense, but now it seems to mean far-right warmongering busybody, as defined by the far-left.
Swell, Conservative once meant FISCALLY conservative. Then it got hijacked by SOCIAL conservatives. Those are the NEO conservatives. Just like Progressive got hijacked by Regressives.
Uppity two things –
1) Bill Clinton told Barack Obama that the tea party protests meant that Obama was winning health care. If Obama discounts this advice, then any failure will mean that he ignored expertise. If he clobbers more tea partiers and fails, then he blames them and the party blames him.
Payback for someone’s Nobel Prize.
2) I respectfully disagree with the definition used for neo-con. I link to Neo-neocon as supporting evidence. http://neoneocon.com/
IMHO a neocon is someone who started out on the left (as I did) and gradually questioned the premises to wind up as a classical liberal.
There are social cons and these are aggravating as their premise is that the gov’t does have a right to intrude, which is in direct opposition to limiting the size and control of gov’t into anyone’s personal life.
Ahhhh, dear Uppity, you made my heart
sing with your full-blooded and principled
defense of Hillary. Thank you. Thank you for reminding us of how we all came here and
why we continue to find sustenance and delight at
your hands.
(Apologies if this comes out weirdly formatted –
it’s being input on my BlackBerry.)
The meaning of NEO suggests that anything NEO is new. So a neo conservative is a new definition of conservative. It’s what hijackers do in political parties. You are no neocon, The meddling crowd are neo cons. Bush white house was full of them. These people were never anywhere near the left. Neo con to most americans are republicans who are more socially conservative than fiscally conservative. I am too tired to check but I think that pig Kristol started the neo con movement. Five minutes on that neocon dot com site tells me that it is authored by a far right winger. You are no far right winger. If you are, you hide it well.
The tea partiers would have been a lot safer if Dick Armey didn’t appropriate them for himself. Wherever dick armey goes, people run like the wind. This is NOT a nice man.
NES I knew you would weigh in. My very first reader at that.
If Stupak is a blue dog, then I’m gonna need a new term for that, too.
To me, the truth is, a blue dog is a democrat who got lucky being elected in a district that leans republican. That blue dog knows he or she had better cut the regressive crap or go down in the next election. It’s really very simple.
Uppity, thank you, but neo cons date back to Irving Kristol, who was a recruiter for the communists.
I don’t hide anything and I agree with small government.
It’s just as Neo-neocon says – it wasn’t a planned political change of mind; I went kicking and screaming. But I am now at the point where I see that government programs hurt those most vulnerable. I can totally see why this wouldn’t make sense to people; I didn’t want to believe it – really didn’t want to believe it.
Uppity, Owens will sink or swim based on how well the economy is perceived to be doing in 2010.
The prospects are not good.
They are not today’s neocons liberty. Wolfowicz. Perle. The list is horrendous. Listen I won’t disagree about government programs. The Democrats have been keeping the poor as poor as possible for a long long time. Without keeping them poor and throwing them bones, they would have no base today! The truth is, they don’t want the poor to advance. But the Republicans are just plain cruel about it. They want people to just croak if they can’t cut it on their own. There has to be something in the middle, which makes me once again a moderate.
Neocons are basically interventionist Republicans. They believe in nation building, spending government money and taxing people to pay for it. the also have a strong Israel policy, which is why neocon is code for zionist among some socialist types.
I don’t know bout you incog, but what I want is a party that keeps my country safe, doesn’t spend like a drunken sailor, and minds it’s own business when it comes to people’s personal lives. You would think that wouldn’t be such a complex thing to ask for.
I support Israel, that doesn’t make me a zionist. It means I remember history. I do not support Islamo Fascism. That doesn’t make me racist or Un PC, it makes me sensible. They want me dead, so I don’t give a shit about them either.
Hey speaking of liars, remember when Bush said he didnt believe in nation building and then went ahead and did more of it than any president before him, trying to force democracy upon 6th century savages?
Liberty, Owens got lucky. If the Republicans hadn’t stuck a far right, falling off the cliff nutbag in there along with an R who is really a Regressive, instead of one sensible moderate republican, the story would have been different. The republicans just don’t understand. People would embrace their belief in defense and fiscal conservatism–which they lost along the way. They just don’t like the meddling far right. It’s what gave us Obama.
A couple of comments, if I may. First, let me say how your post on Sen. Kyle made me laugh out loud for the first time since the vote on Saturday night in which the DEMOCRATIC party sold out women’s right to control their own bodies. You write like I talk but only in the car by myself or to my cats. So, thank you for your style.
I am also a childFREE homeowner who deeply resents paying taxes for public schools that consistently turn out very uneducated young people. However, I still do pay those taxes.
As to Hillary and Bill, I am becoming conflicted. I worked my ass off for Hillary here in Pierce County, WA – a county she carried in the electoral vote (not the primaries, however). We had a ballot vote AND a primary – who can understand that. I donated more money to her campaign than I really had to give. I was devastated when I’d encounter other women who thought Barry’s election would be historic but not hers. I haven’t been happy since the election.
That said, I have to ask, why is she silent on the issue of limiting access to abortions in this health care bill? Well, actually she’s not silent. She told Tom Brokaw she was thrilled when the bill passed the House. And why is Bill encouraging the Dems to pass any bill because “no bill is perfect.” He didn’t address the issue of choice in his meeting with the Dems and apparently not one woman Dem senator asked him about the Stupak Amendment.
I’m not trashing them. I am just very disappointed. Is protecting Hillary Clinton more important than protecting women’s rights to control their own bodies. Who will step forward and be the leader on this? And, to answer your question, YES I would like to see her get on TV and call out Obummer and all the other disgusting Dems on this issue.
First of all thanks for the writing compliment. Sometimes I actually make myself laugh while I’m writing.
Truly, do you think that Bill and Hillary like or support Barack Obama when the door is closed? Frankly, I think they are setting him up for his fall and I don’t think they are alone either. In the end, any mess that is made is……..HIS.
I wish I had a thousand bucks every time I mentally stroked somebody in power in corporate America., knowing fully well I was joining in on the impending kick into the hole they were digging.
Thrilled to have been your “very first reader” (or at least first commenter), dear Uppity. I wear it as the badge of honor it is. XO
“Swell, Conservative once meant FISCALLY conservative. Then it got hijacked by SOCIAL conservatives. Those are the NEO conservatives. Just like Progressive got hijacked by Regressives.”
Makes you wonder what either party stands for nowadays. Progress is going towards the Middle Ages, and Conservative seems to mean nothing.
“They believe in nation building, spending government money and taxing people to pay for it. the also have a strong Israel policy, which is why neocon is code for zionist among some socialist types.”
Both parties like spending government money and taking it from hard-working taxpayers.
Once again, our country is crazy.
W was the “king of cognitive dissonance”. “Mission Accomplished”, “Clear SKies Act”, “PATRIOT Act” — all pure cognitive dissonance.
Kristol, Wolfositz, Perle, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Jeb Bush . . . all neocons. Uppity, yours was the best definition of neo-conservative I’ve read.
And BTW: the reason I’m here – besides the brilliance of the “Leader of this pack” (uppity) and the additional intelligence, passion, humor and connections to one another that I find here – is HRC. This is the first place I check in when I turn on my home computer. And when I can be online at work, I come here for sanity’s sake. I thank you ALL for being here.
( got to go now. be back tonight after work. )
FF, thank you too. Your comments are definitely one of the highlights of UW’s cyber-living room.
By the way, apropos of Mary’s comment re certain politicos’ alleged pronunciation of Pakistan, I feel I must weigh in as the (presumably only) ‘resident’ (so to speak) Pakistani on this site. The correct pronunciation is PAH-kiss-tahn; some Pakistanis say PAHKS-tahn, but the former is more accurate in English. (Also, I don’t believe Hillary pronounces it quite like BO; as in all things, she’s better.) I don’t believe there’s anything wrong with using the British-English (as opposed to the American) pronunciation of a country’s name; in fact, the American one is often just plain wrong and, if I may say, painful to the ears (like EYE-rak for Ir-AHK (Iraq) and EYE-ran for Ir-AHN (Iran)).
Oh man, graphically I’d be NOTHING without the great Freedom Fairy.
UW,
Given that you are assured of my love and respect for you, you will know that I’m sorry for having caused you any hurt. I will be more circumspect in expressing my anger and anguish at what I feel to be betrayal by the Clintons. Nevertheless, integrity compels me to add that there are no sacred cows in my pantheon.
You’re right: I lack the experience to judge Hillary’s professional actions other than by the impressions and emotions they evoke in me. But about Bill calling me and millions upon millions of patriots “teabaggers”–a filthy term moved from the bedroom to the political sphere by Anderson Cooper–I pull no punches. Clinton is saying that by disagreeing with obama and the Reid-Pelosi gang, dissenting Americans have forfeited their rights to free speech and freedom of assembly.
The great lesson of the rise of the Third Reich is that all it takes for evil to flourish is for good people to do and say nothing. In ridiculing the activism of people who understand this truth and who vow, Never Again, Bill Clinton becomes a good man who is enabling an Evil one who is bent on establishing a Fourth Reich. I’ll have no truck with suppression-by-ridicule or disenfranchisement-by-browbeating, no matter how it affects my welcome at this blog which is such a significnt part of my life..
.
NES,
Thanks for the pronunciation info. And, yes, Hillary is better than oilsoc in every. way.
First time commenter here, and too late to matter, but, I just have to counter this: “people that don’t own homes and have lots of kids pay nothing at all”
Renters pay taxes. Cities don’t exempt apartment buildings from property taxes. My own share as a renter is about $2K a year, it’s part of the rent.
Dear Nene. Point taken.
