  1. LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!

I like this one of him too. Soooo strong!

  2. Ironic juxtaposition indeed.

Love that one Alice P. What a cockroach he is.

  3. Did you notice something in that photo? No one around Obama is covering their face or wiping off water except for him. The lady behind him is standing there with a smile on her face. Then of course there was the expressed concern *for his precious SELF* about “lightening”

I cannot imagine in my entire life number one Hillary not going to Arlington and number two her ever in the face of vets and their families being worried about a little water falling on her. To Hillary it’s not about HER in situations like that. Obama is an embarrassment. Too bad he doesn’t realize how badly he embarrasses himself. Poor, poor wittle wet all over Obama.

  4. I should switch and use that one. In fact, I will.

  5. HILARIOUS!! …Okay, more like sad but, true. Something about this just says it ALL. Thanks UW!

  6. He’s covering his face WHILE shaking someone’s hand! lol. Love to see a wide shot to see the look on that person’s face!

  7. Did you notice the size of the shoulder pads in barry’s suit from Alice’s link. Makes him more manly I guess.

  8. Forget HIM. I’ll bet Michelle’s 26 assistants had to reapply her face after that rain. We all know that’s not the face we saw in 2008. Must take hours to turn that snarl into something else.

  9. I really hate to use this word. In fact I never think of this word until I see him in one of these silly wimpy situations.

    The guy is a Pussy.

  10. Waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

    I gotz wet!!!!

zOMG!!! I allllllllllll wet alllllllllllllllllllll over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.

  11. Back at the Oval Office.

  12. This totally typifies his reaction to the oil spill.” But, but…but…MY IMAGE! I’m melting!”

Somebody down on that bayou needed to interrupt his photo op moment and march up to him and use the same language they used when Cheney was down there after Katrina. “F**king Liar!” I would so LMFAOOO!

Honestly, I think this juxtaposed photo would make a great t shirt!!

  13. Did you hear that Obama is attending another Gala at the Ford Theater tonight with George “i Love Me some barry” Lopez.

  14. Beauty
    and
    the
    Beast.

  15. I did not hear that one DE but, I used to work for the Macca official site and don’t think I didn’t fire off a hot letter to the powers that be over there. Macca needs to stay out of the political posturing b.s. He was used and fell for it. Furthermore, Linda would’ve been for Hillary all the way.

All Obama seems to do is go on vacay, have parties and pose for pictures. He would make an excellent run way model. POTUS? not so much at all!

  16. UNBELIEVABLE DE! You know his advisors must be advising against this but like a true narcissist, he knows best!

Typical narcissist, always trying to make everything bigger than it really is. *snark*

  18. “Must take hours to turn that snarl into something else.”

Yes, it does. A smile is very hard to fake.

  19. That just reminds me of his weakness even more FF. All that hate coming out of HIS campaign, the lies, the cheating but, he had to be fluffed up because mean, mean Hillary campaigned against him! Poor widdle Obama! The pillows, the easier questions in debates, the faux outrage at nothing. The orchestrated attacks made out of whole cloth and designed to make him look like a “victim”

People that voted for this coddled weakling got what they deserved and the rest of us will have to suffer the insufferable. If they wanted a strong leader they should not have voted for a man who could not take a word of critical analysis whatsoever.

  20. Alice is that why he puts a rolled up sock in his pants?

  21. DE – those aren’t rolled up socks. They’re tar balls.

  22. “deadenders, on June 6, 2010 at 9:26 PM Said:

Alice is that why he puts a rolled up sock in his pants?”

ROLFLMAO!! I want an entire movie made about this guy. Something with lines akin to “It goes to eleven!” and dancing obots around the Brittany borrowed Greek columns. Costumes to include pants stuffed with socks and shoulder pads!

  23. I detest Obama. It’s time to look forward. Who – and Sorry to Palin followers, not for me or mine. Is there anyone like Hillary around who might be misguided enough to run? Anyone?

  24. No HT I’m sorry but Hillary 08 was our only shot at a female President for the foreseeable future.

  25. HT, the deplorable fact is that there isn’t anyone on the horizon with her wonkish, grit AND who has stood up for women’s rights as long as she has on the horizon. We’ll get a first woman POTUS but, if that person isn’t Hillary in our lifetime my personal opinion is that on many scores they are not going to be her equal. Not as good for the country and not as good for women’s history and future.

  26. Chelsea won’t be eligible for another 10 years. Although…..she could write a book about herself claiming she was born in 1975, refuse to show her birth certificate, school records, passport, medical records……naw, it would never work. ;)

  27. LOL I must. We actually KNOW who her parents are….

  28. Uppity – love your Pengy

  29. A new pengy??? Where??? oh I see him
    <——————

Is that my pengy?? Come to mommy!!

  30. Good one imust!

  31. Actually, I miscalculated her age. She would be eligible in 5 years. If only Hillary would run again in 2016, Chelsea could be her running mate! Clinton/Clinton with another Clinton as First Gentleman!

  32. What a great post! Two pix…says it all. imust @ 9:55 LMAO!

  33. imust, ah, wouldn’t that be a ticket – a dream ticket.
Guess I got my answer – there are any number of charlatans who happen to have a penis, who could challenge the O man. Seems to be if you have a penis, you don’t have to be effective, efficient or empathetic to the people. that they are elected to serve.

  34. I am definitely NOT into family monarchies. We had to tolerate Tedward as an Inheritor. Two Bushes and the disgusting thought of a third. America was not put here to be prisoner to these ogliarchies and monarchies we have suffered through. Worse yet, the strain gets weaker and weaker. Just look at Caroline if you want to spell “Pathetic”.

I am horrifed to see Harry Reid’s mediocre kid running for governor. Even more horrific is watching that apple that barely fell an inch from the tree, Liz Cheney. This is all just too ugsome for words. Get rid of one of them and find their little spawn in the wings.

I stand firm in my belief that Politics is NOT supposed ot be a family business and that’s what it’s come to and it simply revolts me, much in the same way that religous congregations being passed on like a family business revolt me. Oral and Oral Roberts. And now the Grahams besides. I just think it’s not only all a big joke but not healthy. Being born as a spawn of a politician does NOT make you qualified to be a politician and we should really stop thinking that way, methinks. THerefore I reject the same thought with the Clintons. Just because they had Chelsea does not mean we need another monarchy.

  35. About Sarah. I will forever defend any sexism or misogyny thrown her way because when these things are done to one woman, they are done to us all. However, I have to be honest about her. I find her to be the right wing batshit’s answer to the left wing batshit’s hero, Barack Obama. They have some very similar characterisitcs, in case you haven’t noticed. Both are a cult of personality to their worshippers. Both have a malicious streak. Both are able to instigate and incite their followers into a frenzy, and both do it deliberately. Their worshippers think they are greater than they are, while everyone else just shakes their heads. There’s a LOT of shit neither of them knows. I mean a LOT. In fact, Both of them have a hair’s worth of real experience and both of them make my ears bleed when they speak.

Glad i got that off my chest.

  36. Uppity, agreed, however I don’t think Chelsea is even remotely interested in running for public office after what her mother and father were subjected to……it was just a dream after all.

  37. UW, you draw interesting parallels between Palin and Obama, but there is one distinction: I don’t think Palin is allergic to w-o-r-k.

  38. Oh, I so agree with you about Sarah! I’ve defended her against sexism too but, I really would not want to see her be the first woman POTUS at all. She reminds me of the rights answer to Obama too and that is not a good thing.

We needed someone with Hillary’s smarts and detail, doggedness, and strength.

  39. Well I am SURE that’s true Ani, but that doesn’t make her a President. I’m not allergic to work either. In fact, I have more management experience than both of them. And I don’t mangle the language when I speak. Nor do I ramble. That doesn’t qualify me to be president either. We need to stop Settling. I wouldn’t Settle for a husband and I don’t think we should Settle for a President either. We’ve done that the last two times as far as I can see.

I’m not going to do it any longer.

  40. Well there’s our answer.

    Uppity Woman 2012!

  41. I disagree with you about Chelsea. She is smart and capable like her mom. And her mom didn’t get to be prez remember? I don’t like Chelsea just because shes a Clinton, just like I didn’t want Hillary just because she was a Clinton. Hillary has her own extraordinary qualities that make her an awesome choice for POTUS. I’m kinda sad that you would think of me in such a simplistic way Uppity.

  42. Hey listen, let’s not kid ourselves. Any one of us, if we are photogenic, can speak well to an audience and charm them, and can raise a couple of hundred million dollars can be president. In fact, I know a dozen people who can satisfy all of those things and would would make a great president, but for that little issue with the hundred million.

We are being pucked folks. We have horrible presidential candidates day in and day out. When we get a good one, it had better be a guy or they will destroy her. We are being fucked day in and day out by corporations and rich families and dominating parties who can come up with the TV ads and the consultants, but who will make shitty presidents and do. How the hell else do you think W Bush got to be president, because he stood out from the crowd with his charm and achievements? Really?

    Really?

  43. imust you are anything but simplistic.

What most of us really know about Chelsea we could kind of write on the back of a postage stamp, though. I think she seems like a nice person. But pretty much that’s it. As far as I can see, she’s not shown herself to be extraordinary, but just nice. She’s probably smart too, because I believe IQ is hereditary. But beyond that, I just don’t see much more. Maybe if she achieves something in the next ten years I will change my mind, but for now, all she is to my mind is the daughter of a president who did well by our country’s economy, someone my portfolio misses terribly, and a guy who had a knack for making little people feel human, for a change. And of course, there’s her mother, who is stellar. But Chelsea herself is really a blank slate to most Americans.

  44. Okay, so Chelsea is also a good campaginer for her mom. Do you see where I am going here?

I supported Hillary too and believed her to be an awesome presidential candidate, because I saw her work, I saw her achievements and I saw her way of leading. She has stuff under her belt that she achieved. She proved her chops first. I just don’t see it as the same for her daughter where I could say she’s going to make an awesome presidential candidate some day.

  45. Quick DE check and see if imust is loading her gun.

  46. Of course I see where you’re going. I was never one of those people who thought that John John should be president just because his dad was prez, and you know what I think of Princess you know, Caroline. But Chelsea is different. She hasn’t taken a political path, but she does share the values, and has the intelligence of her mother. Do you think a President Chelsea Clinton would work on Women’s issues? I do. And notice, she held town halls sans teleprompter. She immersed herself in the issues and could speak intelligently about everything with the same detail as her mom. Would they have sent her on the stump if she wasn’t that good? And she was just 28 years old. Imagine when she’s 35 and 40!

  47. I agree Uppity. We need someone good. Hillary was the best choice. We could have had someone who knew what they were doing. Each day the oil continues to gush out into the Gulf I’m a little bit sadder because with either Hillary or McCain we would have had a leader.

  48. Besides, if you notice in my comment, I was suggesting that Chelsea would be VP with Hillary, not run in 2016 as POTUS.

  49. And another thing! What if FDR had thought that way? Oh, I can’t run for president b/c my uncle Teddy Roosevelt was president……We’d never had the New Deal!

  50. imust hon, I can’t answer your questions because I don’t think ANYTHING. Okay, she can speak without a teleprompter. So can I. That doens’t make me a good president either. I’m saying she has nothing I can go on. I would definitely assume she would work on women’s issues, but hells bells, there’s a lot more she would have to work on too. She may come into her own in a decade but at this moment, I just can’t jump up and say Chelsea! She hasn’t shown me her chops. Look at it this way, if Chelsea were not Hillary and BIll’s daugher, would we even be having this conversation? That’s what I mean here. We have an entire country here and we keep the field so damned small, nothing new can ever emerge.

I’ll say this to john john. I have no idea what jack and jackie did here, but he wasn’t too bright either. But I definitely would not have thrown him out of my bedroom.

  51. Now imust, surely you have to concede that a mother-daugher presidential team is about as Monarchy as it gets.

  52. If Chelsea was not a Clinton, I probably never would have heard of her. However, if she campaigned, and I got to see the person that I have seen on the stump and in interviews…..yes, I would definitely vote for her, no matter what her last name was…..you on the other hand are excluding her because she’s a Clinton.

  53. I look at it not as Monarchy, but as Matriarchy.

  54. Senneth, maybe I’m just ornery tonight, so I will go one further and probably annoy you too. But I don’t think McCain would have been a good president. However, he would have made sure that Islamofascists weren’t going to ever get a chance to barnstorm America, which made him a better choice. He also obviously read more than just a paragraph on WWII, and unlike Barack Obama, he’s not an anti-semite. So that’s two points. Economically, I think he would have been a bust, which means a wash with Obama, who is also a bust.

  55. It is sad that there are no women candidates on the horizon who could run. I agree with Uppity about Palin. I wonder if any of the republican CEO women like Whitman or Fiorina if they get elected to their respective offices now, will run for the presidency in the next 5 years.

  56. but as Matriarchy

Ok so now you’ve piqued my interest.
Considering men have been running the world since Day One and they have fucked up every single thing they have touched.

  57. It’s a known fact that testosterone starts wars.

  58. Whitman and Fiorina don’t have a chance of winning.

  59. I don’t think a woman has a snowballs’ chance in hell of being POTUS right now or for the foreseeable future. I used to think we could achieve that very soon but, after Hillary was held to ten times the standard ANY male who campaigned was not anymore. The vicious sexism that nobody on the left seemed to have a problem with save some of us told the story.

This country, Hillary, Chelsea whoever no matter HOW accomplished is not ready for a woman POTUS. I want a LONG line of women as POTUS myself. We’ve had decade after decade of the swinging appendage leaders and look where we are now. America needs to own up to exactly how misogynistic they ARE and do something about it. Ain’t gonna happen with the misogynist in chief in there and with MS. mag proclaiming he looks like a feminist to them…wtf??!!

We are down the rabbit hole on this one no matter which woman runs. So far I only see Hillary being able to take them on and win…IF she’s allowed to keep her damned votes next time!!

  60. I don’t think they can win against their opponents either imust.

It won’t matter though, because Califiornia is truly going to be the first state to go completely bankrupt.

  61. That is, if NY doesn’t beat them to it.

  62. I think California will beat NY in the bankruptcy race. Not that it is a good thing. We’ve been under the “leadership” of the most manly of mans, Mr. Testosterone himself ARRRNOLD no-I-never-used-steroids Swartzenegger!

  63. I think if Hollywood offers Barack a crack as the next 007, he would consider this a step up and abandon the next presidential race. He’s not accustomed to winning and actually doing a job. He’ accustomed to running and then running while he’s in office. He’s a Do Nothing who is looking for his next promotion to Doing More Nothing. SInce Pope is out of the question, hollywood is the only next natural step. He would love the adoratiion.

  64. Well, California has always been First at things and NY always follows. So now we know the sequence.

  65. Maybe we can change our state motto from “The Golden State” to:
“If Goldman Sachs Got Bailed Out Why Not Us State!”

  66. Can’t bail a state out imust. everybody will want one too. Besides, the last thing you want is the fed bailing your state out. You want barack calling your shots? Because you just have to know it’s all going to come with strings attached.

  67. Bankruptcy sequence: California. New York. Massachusetts.

  68. Oh, I didn’t say I wanted it….just sayin’ we’d need it. Anyway, our state motto is:
Eureka, I found it! We could change it to: Eureka, now we lost it!

  69. Anyway, Barack would never bail us out. He’s still mad b/c we went for Hillary in the primaries……too big for him to game.
Well it appears all my Chelsea talk has driven everyone away….don’t want to be a blog hog so g-night all you lurkers!!

  70. imust has left the building……………..

  71. Get back here. He does seem to have a pattern of punishing states that didn’t vote for him in primary and general. Spiteful little snot he is.

  72. Left alone and sulking….

  73. i just was editing a new post – heh

  74. I was thinking. Is there an election since 1968 where the person who was predicted to win the presidency a year before the election ended up being the winner?

  75. WKRG Counter indicated we will pass 50 Million gallons by the morning

    sigh

  76. hmmmmmm

    Barack Obama? LOL

  77. No, FF. A year before, the media just wanted him to be the winner. He was selected the winner around Super Tuesday.

  78. It is my opinion that the GOP will pay more attention to AZ Governor Jan Brewer after all the hoopla in her state. She’s got cojones, that’s for sure. I’ve just got a feeling about this. She seems to be the only one really and truly standing up to Barky, and holding her own. There was but a small blurb in the press as to how last Tuesday’s “showdown” between the 2 of them went. She’s tough. Unfortunately, she’s not Hillary. But if you’re looking for the next GOP POTUS candidate–and a woman–I think she may be pulling ahead of the crowd.

  79. It would be something of a nightmare for me as a woman activists to have a far right winger be the first woman POTUS. I met Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s g.g. granddaughter after a breakfast to honor Hillary in Seneca Falls, her motto was “Carry The Cause” Thinking back how many decades we’ve fought for that sort of representation it would be quite a let down not having someone take that spot who seemed to “Carry The Cause” I don’t think Stanton herself would approve.

Unfortunately, i think that’s exactly what will happen and everyone will think we should all be thrilled with it. Nope, I agree with those who say Hillary was are only shot in this life time. Had she lost fair and square this feeling of resentment wouldn’t exist. The consequences for women’s history are just depressing as hell.

  80. LOL Uppity. I agree totally about McCain. But I also don’t think he would have done the stimulus, cash for clunkers, and pushed that insurance mandate down our throats. He wouldn’t have been able to have gotten away with it. I do think he would have taken more of a leadership role in the Gulf disaster, because he has more leadership qualities. My vote for him was in opposition, but truly I think he would have been better than oilsoc. I also don’t think he would have tossed our allies under the bus and he would have remembered the D-Day anniversary. And the Islamofacist thing as well.

Unfortunately I don’t see anyone on the horizon remotely resembling the kinds of leadership qualities I would appreciate in a president.

BTW I truly am glad you’re back and that your break didn’t stop you from being blunt and to the point and a wee bit crotchety.

    AliceP,
I also don’t think we’ll see a woman president in my lifetime. I’m 60, a feminist activist for many long years. It is very depressing and there are fewer and fewer folks I’m willing to spend time with and talk to. Really depressing.

  81. Obama The Concerned: (snip)

    OBAMA OFF TO THE THEATER
    Sent: Sun Jun 06 18:06:32 2010
    Subject: pool report #1

Reception in the East Room prior to performance at Ford’s Theatre

“Lyrics on a page and voices on a stage have helped make us across generations and across cultures, backgrounds, and faiths. Great leaders including Lincoln himself have drawn inspiration and courage from the arts. “And on a personal note, they helped each of us express the joys and hardships of life while bringing us closer to each other.”

This is especially true during moments of trial. The president said there have been a lot of trials over the past year and a half. Now, there are brothers and sisters in the Gulf Coast who are going through an incredibly difficult time in the face of a disaster unlike any we’ve seen of late. “I want to emphasize again that we’re going to do everything we can in the weeks and months and years ahead to make this right,” and everyone here feels the same way.

But tonight, we will celebrate not only music, song, and performances, but also the incredible legacy of Ford’s Theatre and some award recipients who have done some much to help others in this country and around the world.”

  82. He really is a piece of work Freedom Fairy. No other president would get away with this cr@p.

  83. obama’s favorite words:

    I
    Me
    Parrrrrrrrty on
    Golf
    historic
    vacation
    camera
    money
    power
    audacity

  84. I don’t think he will imust – It’s becoming a joke as to how out of touch he is.

BTW – I updated my latest post – with even more good news about the Volcano BOP

  85. Oops, fell asleep last night and didn’t catch your response @ 10:52.

I agree there. New Agenda recently did a pictorial about the ordeals of Suffragettes. I think we need phase 2 of the suffragette movement in which we insist on 1) the integrity of the vote; 2) more female representation; 3) a better breed of politician. And I even suspect achieving goal 2 would take care of goal 3. I guess I’m feeling discriminatory against men these days

  86. Two photos speaking THE TRUTH loud and clear.

I really believe that this “historic”, “unprecedented”, toxic (pardon the pun) national climate would not exist with Hillary or McCain as POTUS. The sad irony is that both have the record of “reaching across the aisle.”

  87. New Post up for commentary

  88. That picture reminds me of this:

(The embed mode has been disabled.)

  89. That picture of Obama, that is – the one of HIllary is one of my all time favorites!

  90. absolutely brilliant.

  91. I voted for McCain becuase I thought he was the far better choice. I do not agree with some of his opinions/choices – but no one is going to match up perfectly. If they do (like so many thought BO did) then its time to run in the other direction.

I think McCain at least knew its a JOB and a hard job at that. Has work experience, would not put up with Islamic Jihad crap and certainly would not go around ticking off all our friends. In fact, I thought the fact that so many did not want want him was a good sign. Most of those were these “one world order” idiots who want us to regress back to the 6th century.

Yes, the economy would still stink but I am certain McCain would not be trying to push it the whole way over the edge. Nor wold he have been able to shove as much through even if he tried.

He would have addressed the shooting at Ft Hood and other problems rather than pretending they did not exist or by telling use need to read Islamic friendly cartoons . McCain would not have abandon the gulf states for golfing and stupid dung beatles.

The purple and brown shirts hate him. Plus the extreme right hates him, the extreme left hates him – this he would have to have lead the country from the center.

I think it boils down to understanding that its better to have a president who is respected than one who is “popular”.

Too many people treated this past national election like a stupid reality show where BO and MO got all these prizes (exotic vacations!, private planes! magazine covers! designer clothes!).

But most of all McCain wound not have mocked the US and its citizens. Nothing like showing the world your distaste for your own country.
