twandx, I just want to let you know that, in spite of how the word “progressive” has been appropriated by filthy misogynist pigs with a “D” after their names, Deadenders is the real example of who a progressive male is. Without going into details, this man is a true champion of women in every way possible. So I think in this case, he was showing some genuine concern in the violence department, would never discourage women from protecting themselves and is aware of the horrors of what others of his gender have done to women. You would want Deadenders walking by if someone tried to rape you, because he would have no qualms about ending the SOB’s life for him. I just wanted to let you know this because sometimes we read things on blogs without knowing the heart of the person writing them.
That having been said, I agree that mercy wouldn’t be on my mind either, although also on my mind would be the thought that our phony justice system would eventually have that bag of shit out on the street again to do it again.
