Herlocaust: What Else Do You Call Global Crimes Against Women & Girls?

I’d like to introduce you all to Herlocaust, a website dedicated to  documenting the dizzying number of ongoing Global crimes against women and girls — While The Band Plays On.

At first I was a bit startled by the title. Then I found my peace at the website and Understood. What else do you call the systematic worldwide torture, murder, and brutal mental and physical subjugation of women? Here is the letter written by the founder of this site to the ADL.

Here at the Herlocaust Wall you will see everything you need to see to help convince you that gender emotional and physical  genocide and subjugation are rampant on this planet–complete with riveting supportive videos. Warning, this is not happy stuff. But more importantly, it’s REAL. You will learn much and wonder how it is nobody, including and especially the USA, does anything about it. Herlocaust recognizes the truth.

Source:Herlocaust

At the Wall, here is what you will learn:

You will learn about the aborting,  starvation and abandonment of female babies–simply because they are females.

You will  learn about the horrendous Honor Killings in the Middle East (not to mention the Honor Killings being swept under the rug right here in the USA), where women are tortured and killed by savages who have no problem going to lunch when they are done.

You will  learn about how the raping of women of every age, from children to the elderly, is positively rampant in some quarters of the world–and in some quarters right here in America.

You will learn about real and present Dowry Killings and Bride Burnings in the Middle East.

You will learn about Female Genital Mutilation, and learn that this CRIMINAL act is not only performed in far away lands, but also right here in America–and nobody does a thing about it.

You will learn about the Sex Slave Trade and how it has infested all four corners of the earth.

You will learn about unjustly accused women, who are sentenced or killed on the whim of barbarians.

You will learn about marriages forced upon children.

You will learn about the oppression of women as a means of Power and Control.

You will learn about rampant domestic violence that nobody really does a significant thing about.

All of these things happen daily and with great frequency to human beings SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE FEMALES. I dare anyone to deny that these things  exist. Even more, I am horrified that nobody does much of anything about any of it except encourage more of it by looking away.

When you are done reading the Herlocaust Wall, only then will you begin to understand the name of this site. What else can you call the Truth? Or better put:

What do You call Global Crimes Against Women & Girls?

Please stop by the Herlocaust Blog and show your support to the Keeper of this site, who identifies herself as a “Survivor of the Herlocaust”.

I am adding Herlocaust to my blogroll and I hope my fellow bloggers consider doing the same. Nobody should have to blog  along about this pain……….this horror…..this filthy shameful state of a world that commits gendercide daily.

The Herlocaust. It’s real and it’s happening before our very eyes.

No words on this site describe what must be done more than these:

  1. Thanks for sending us their way Uppity.
I will add my voice to Uppity’s- GO to this website- and bring plenty of tissue. This issue is beyond party, race, religion or borders. Women are being subjugated and exterminated on an hourly basis around the world.
Simply because we were born female.

  2. I followed your link yesterday – one knows instinctively that this is happening around us through newspaper reports and incredible bloggers like you, but to have it all in one place really emphasizes the horrific attitudes and conditions that affect women and girls every single day of their lives. I left a message there – it’s going to take a long time to work through all the information, as it’s not something one can do at one sitting. Thank you, Uppity.

  3. Mom, did you visit the Wall – geez, you need a couple of boxes of tissue.

  4. Hello HT: said my appreciation downstairs for your
concern for my Beautiful “puppy” that I love so much.

We at murphy’s have documented in our archives all the travesty’s in our Woman’s Forum,

It is heartbreaking and undeniably ignored by the world,

Hopefully our Hillary will be our Main Girl, and alot
of this can begin to change.

Doesn’t Chile have a WOMAN president, I’m pretty sure,
somone correct me if I’m wrong

  5. Michelina- Chile HAD a woman president- she was still in office at the time of the horrendous earthquake.

  6. Michelina, Herlocaust has an attribution to Pumapac. Dilma Rousseff is in the lead in the Brazilian election for President, so SA could soon have yet another female president.

  7. HT: I’m so glad to hear that, Our PUMA’S worked so
    hard on that forum——-BLESS THEM

So it’s Brazil——not Chile, —–I hope she wins——-

  8. Uppity: We are stunned. In fact, this morning, we have a had a long-awaited emotional release – thanks to you and your readers.

Reading your review of the site is one of the best moments of the past year.

You have read every word that we have written – and that is a triumphant moment in our journey through creating the Herlocaust site.

You have added insight, understanding and a comprehension of what the Herlocaust truly is – inspiring us to take the next leap into what we know must happen – to Stop these Crimes Against Our Humanity.

We have cried this morning – over the encouragement, hope and vision, that your incredible review has validated, as one of the most important in our lives – this journey.

Please know, that we will make every effort to bring as much hope to those that visit our site, through activism for change, as the horrible news we must face everyday.

Thank you Uppity. Thank you all – for greeting us out of the hallway of hell on earth, for hundreds of millions of women and girls around the world.

The timing was miraculous. We needed your words and voices more than you could ever know. Thank you.

  9. What an incredible site. Covering these issues the way I am appalled at the MSM for not even considering doing.

  10. Thanks for the link, Uppity. I swiped that video of Maryam Namazie off their home page and Posted it in my blog:

    http://syd4.blogspot.com/2010/10/she-deserved-to-die-whore-for-those-who.html

My main point there was to show the use of the word “whore” and how, yes… it is still an awful thing to call a women in 2010.

But… honestly… EVERYONE here should watch that video in it’s entirety. Her arguments against the cultural relativism are irreproachable.

  11. Thanks Uppity. I do not need to visit the wall as I lived it and I have a daughter that lived it. She was stabbed by her husband and he was given time served and community service. Cops that had to arrest him asked her what she did to piss him off like that. No I need not visit I have had my fair share. I damn near died then got the pleasure of watching my daughter damn near killed.

  12. It’s a really well-written and informative site. It will make you cry. I had seen it in the past, and, as always, we get busy. Glad to be kicked in the butt to remind myself and others just what we face in the world as women and girls.

Thanks Herlocaust, and Uppity, for keeping things in perspective.

  13. And completely off topic (unless you agree with Dinnerjackle’s Imams about women causing EQs. ) I would locate your sturdy door-jam if you are in california. Very odd off-shore quakes.

Also, the Central US has been shaking enough to fray nerves in the EQ Community.

Keep an eye out. Obama may get his chance to pretend he is the President of Chile…..

  14. Herlocaust, regarding my timing, you obviously do not know of my psychic skills. Heh.

Listen, if you cried, I can see why. I would cry after gathering all the information you have gathered too. It’s worthy of it. You have every right to a Launch Meltdown. And now, it’s on to doing what must be done. there will be other times when you are overcome too, and I promise to use my personal internal hotline to help you out. Meanwhile, if there is any other way I can help you, just let me know. I could never do the site you just launched. I don’t think I could handle it. I only hope I can steer as many people to you as possible.

I think it was our own Freedom Fairy who sent me your link when you were under construction. I’ve been watching for you ever since.

  15. utah, I have never been the victim of domestic violence, but I was molested as a child (twice by different perps) and raped as a young woman, and yes indeedy, the police investigating the rape asked me what I was wearing, where I was and what I was doing (in a laundry room for goodness sake) as if I were somehow at fault. It was a long time ago, so I hope they have gotten better training, although after the Pickton Pig Farm fiasco, I have my doubts.

  16. Yes Uppity, (2-million-more-clicks!) Thanks for introducing us to this important Herlocaust site. Bookmarked and going on blogrolls. I hope they add HillaryIs44.org to their blogroll right away too.

When it was time to renew my domains & server this year, I discovered that WRAHR.com (Women’s Rights Are Human Rights) wasn’t taken, so I snapped the domain up immediately to make damn sure strong life long feminists like me and us would be able to develope it properly. (Someone had bought the long version but it goes to nowhere to this day) I haven’t had time to install anything on it yet, or to put out the word on needed help for content & admins & herstory, but seeing this Herlocaust site is one hell of a motivator to buckle down soon and get it done.

We MUST have new Women’s Coalitions formed and promoted, to do the JOB where the other women’s groups have shockingly slacked off horribly and let all of us down. Many times I’m in the same disgusted mood as you: we fought fiercely when it was our turn, now it’s the younger women’s turn. But all it takes is to talk with and observe my 25 yr old daughter and her friends, or gaze into my beautiful little granddaughter’s eyes wondering about their future and Quality of Life. Or have the horrors that much needed sites like Herlocaust point out and document, for me to know that we can’t and won’t just stand back while they flounder, fuck up, or worse yet are oblivious to what is really going on. No, we must continue to lead the way, to Stand Up and Stand Out, as it’s impossible, unthinkable, for any women to stand down or stand back on how we are treated.

  17. “This is not cultural.
    This is not custom.
    This is Criminal.”

    –Hillary Rodham Clinton

  18. Utah, that is a horrible story. Just horrible.

  19. And just like magic….found in the comments at Big Pink

Big Government uncovering this absolutely horrendous court filing detailing the abuse Congressman Charlie Wilson (D-OH) inflicted on his ex-wife — much of which he admitted to doing in a deposition. Clara Wilson went so far as to use the term “extreme cruelty” to describe what Charlie Wilson put her through.

Wilson admitted in his deposition to grabbing his wife by the neck and shaking her.

According to the court document, Wilson “slammed [his wife] into the refrigerator.” Wilson admitted in his deposition that early in his marriage he “kicked and struck” his wife and “accused her of adultery.”

  20. I went over last night. Thanks Uppity and Herlocaust. Blogging feminism right alongside you. Hugs.

  21. And that shitbum Wilson is still sitting in Congress????? I just checked out this shitbum’s videos on youtube and he has comments disabled on all of them. I guess he doesn’t want anybody asking him if he brutally beat the shit out of a woman lately.

  22. Some police have training and care but let me tell you what I do know for a fact. You will call for help and the sob that responds could in fact be a wife beating son of a bitch too. That is why it is hit and miss as to weather or not you are a victim more then once. I was raped too as was my daughter. I got the shit kicked out of me for being late from work, dinner not good enough hell you name it. I have a very hard time even liking men. I long to see the day when females are not hated for what they are but fear my lifetime is too short to see that. Every abusive male deserves to get what he gives and then some. I care not if it is physical or mental they are bastards that need what they dish out.

  23. utah, your experiences bring tears and memories. While I was not a victim of physical abuse, I suffered emotional and mental abuse until I woke up one morning and didn’t recognize who was staring back at me from the mirror. I haven’t looked back since, and other than the sperm donor that provided me the means for the gruesome twosome, I haven’t had a member of the opposite sex in my life – other than various bros-in-law, who btw are wonderful human beings. Celibacy is not as bad as some think – I’m independent, I have friends of both sexes, I live my life on my terms and I’m content. I too long for a day when I don’t fear for myself or my daughter, or all the gruesomes’ friends who just happen to have been born with the XX. Agree with Her, it’s a herlocaust out there.

  24. Utahwoman,

Your story is exactly why “I” was obsessed with getting through “The Herlocaust Wall”.

I, like HT, endured some pretty horrendous abuse, as a child. And, it set me up to take a lot more of it as an adult.

None of it was ever “deserved” for any reason nor excuse.

I certainly respect your need to take care of yourself – by not going to our site and possibly reliving your own hell – that we never completely escape.

But, please know in your absence that the “Herlocaust Wall” is just as much for you – as it is for all women and girls – from the Congo to New York City to all around the world.

It was intended to show the world that the acts of violence committed against YOU, HT and ME – and, all women and girls, by their very cause and intent, are Crimes Against OUR Humanity.

Thank you for being both honest and true to yourself.

  25. “Herlocaust, regarding my timing, you obviously do not know of my psychic skills. Heh.

“Heh” – Uppity, that always sounds so much funnier when you say it! Ha!

As for the rest of your comment, in offering to help? I was hoping that my “psychic skills” Transmitter was as powerful as your “psychic skills” Receiver. Heh.

  26. Uppity quoted:

    “This is not cultural.
    This is not custom.
    This is Criminal.”

    –Hillary Rodham Clinton

I wanted to use that quote on the site weeks ago and just flat forgot to!

Thanks for reminding me – as PMM says – ‘Hillary so gets it!’

  27. utah and HT, so sorry. Soooooooooo sorry. :(

  28. herlocaust, your work keeps the light on the ugliness forced upon women, that many want to forget, or simply do not want to see. Like the Muslim women on the sidebars here at UW, it must remain front and center to keep awareness up and remind others of their responsibility to bring justice to victims and prevent it from happening to others. Thx.

  29. Uppity:

McNorman posted this link over at our place. I think you did a story on this a few months back?

The video to the piece is dated, September 22, 2010 – so this may be another “Beating Edition” to make sure they understand exactly how to do it correctly….

I’ll have to add it over at our place somewhere, it’s so “educational.”

“Tolerance and Diversity: Teaching Girls That Misogyny And Beatings Are An Honor”

    http://www.newsrealblog.com/2010/10/13/tolerance-and-diversity-teaching-girls-that-misogyny-and-beatings-are-an-honor/

Here’s the video from that link’s piece (sub-titles):

  30. I just watched the stunningly bright Condi Rice on Greta. Republicans, THIS is your shining star, not all these yahoos and retreads you offer. I would follow this woman anywhere. She’s brilliant. But alas, I bet she makes all those Repulican penises feel like it’s very cold out. Oh man, she’s briliant, classy, and has more knowledge and reasoning power than the whole lot of them put together.

You wouldn’t hear the race card falling out of Condi’s mouth. You know why? Because she doesn’t need one. She’s capable and she’s able.

  31. Dang herlocaust, I had that video in queue for tomorrow morning. Yes I think I put a whole series of them up in the past. I just can’t remember when. I’ve done about 2500 posts here and, like the temperamental creative person I am, I never bothered much with tags and categories. My bad.

FF snatched it from big pink.

  32. TTC:

Thank you for that, TC. It is amazing how many are genuinely, deeply invested in helping to liberate women and girls from all of these crimes.

Your words are encouraging and inspiring. I take them to heart and feel every ounce of my own “responsibility to bring justice to victims and prevent it from happening to others.”

    Well said, TC.

  33. …working on a Sneaky Weekend News post, so I’m gonna slink off…

  34. Woops, Uppity! Sneak preview, maybe?

(It’s a much better quality than all of the ones I puked through, these past few months.)

Uppity, please feel free to delete my comment on it, so as to not risk the “IMPACT” of your post – that I can’t wait to read in the morning!

Poor devils, when they make the mistake of stopping by here, they probably think they’ve been stoned and beheaded — after swallowing a cattle prod!

  35. Eh I learned to survive on my own and am very strong now. No man will ever enslave me ever again . Herlocaust I admire what you are doing trust me I do and will offer help to but what I mean is I do not have to see videos etc I can look at my beautiful daughters face every day and see a scare the miserable piece of crap gave her and then when I see her in a swimsuit I see the rest. As for what I went through for 18 years you are so right. By the time I was 17 I felt I was worthless because I was not a boy and my life was only to serve men. Raised that way. Hey with me I took myself out of it, not easy either trust me and I know why it is so many do not get out and I also know why it is so hard to try to intervene on their behalf because unless you are there you can not possibly understand the torture that goes on inside your own mind. When he tells you he loves you and is so so sorry and then things are so good until the next time you screw up to his thinking and are cracked in the face with a fist, slammed up against a counter and you are sure your back just broke then knocked to the floor and kicked in the ribs or have a loaded shotgun pressed into your throat and yes I have and part of me at that time had wished he would pull the trigger. I do not know why you feel bound to the beast but you do and you are afraid, afraid that you are what he says and afraid of the world you name it and hopelessness sets in and you hope sometimes the next beating mercifully takes your life. When you say no to this man and he beats the shit out of you and rapes you tearing you up and tells you there you know you wanted it and this is the same man you fell in love with and you really can not fell lower and more betrayed but some of us have a moment of sanity or maybe a moment of ” I couldn’t care less what happens” and we leave and when we sit in our apartment and are afraid to sleep because he is coming or face all kinds of ghosts we make it. When we finally get that light bulb to go on in our heads that we are strong and doing fine we move upward and we become whole again. Whole again until some man who sees our strength has to call us a whore, bitch bull dike , and other
names and sets out to show the world how much of a bitch we are etc.
Herlocaust you are awesome as is any female or male that will stand up for women everywhere and try to stop this.
Sadly many women do not give a crap until or unless it happens to them in my experience or they know a dear friend or relative that has suffered it. When I hear a male politician use words or defend the as Jerry Brown did and then ultimately try to make his victim the one in the wrong as Brown did I glow red embers.
When I hear women like B. Boxer using womens rights against her opponent like she did today over the right to choose and yet she backed the health care bill with furry which we all know now is aimed to kill women I start to explode . Women need to wake the hell up and see that we are not just victimized by men but women betray and use us as well. Women are dying in mass and all who care had better wake up and send a message and stop the abuse and stop using us as bait for a vote.

  36. Oh, UW, you’re gonna “love” this! You are definitely right…

California NOW President: Meg Whitman a Whore

Can we quit pretending that the National Organization of Women is nothing more than an abortion’s rights group now?
The president of the California Chapter of NOW just called Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman a whore.
    Talking Points Memo reported:

Last week, the National Organization of Women and the PAC of the California NOW chapter took heat for their endorsement of state Attorney General Jerry Brown (D) over Meg Whitman (R) in the gubernatorial race in the wake of comments by a Brown aide that Whitman was a “whore.” At the time, national NOW President Terry O’Neill said that anyone who “from here on” calls a woman a “whore” should be fired.

She might want to have a talk with California NOW President Parry Bellasalma, who today told TPM in response to a question that “Meg Whitman could be described as ‘a political whore.’ Yes, that’s an accurate statement.”

What a horrible bunch of leftists.

    http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2010/10/california-now-president-meg-whitman-a-whore/

  37. Woops, Uppity! Sneak preview, maybe?

    Nuh Uh. No peeking.

  38. Uppity – oh, I wouldn’t want a “sneak preview” of any of your posts – that would spoil my daily visits.

I was talking about “sneak preview maybe?” as an ‘excuse’ for my posting the ‘beatings’ video, prematurely – given that you are going to use it in a post tomorrow or soon!

(Seriously, if you’re using it in an upcoming post – delete my comment above that contains it – I would rather see it in context with your post about it)

  39. Don’t worry about it herlocaust. It’s not going to be tomorrow’s signature piece anyways. My readers love Sneaky Weekend News™

  40. Dear Shez, I am so sorry your last post landed in spam. It happens with WP when someone doesn’t post too often. I just found it and released it. the problem with organizing today’s women is the young ones are desensitized to sexism and they don’t even recognize the steady drip drop of the whittling of their rights and right to respect. Organizing them is a lot like herding cats.
But if we can achieve it, it will be most rewarding….

  41. Utahwoman:

It has taken me some time to realize that I deserve to grant myself a reasonable dose of self-pity on occasion for all that was lost, followed by an even bigger dose of deep gratitude for all that I survived, and, if I take it one step further, I can find an even bigger dose of dignity and self-respect, for all that I have managed to salvage out of a life that was torn shreds.

If only all of the victims of “The Herlocaust” were afforded half as much.

  42. And, utahwoman, your story is precisely why I am so proud to be called “A Survivor.”

  43. “Sneaky Weekend News™”

It’s the best, Uppity! (is that an Uppity trademarked name?! if so, that is very cool!)

    (Do you ever sleep?)

  44. Yes it is indeed an Uppity creation, borne of one of my more malicious moments, as opposed to my other moments, which are only moderately malicious.

Sleep is for the weak. Actually I do sleep very well, like a rock. The thing is I can only do five hours max. So if I go to sleep too early, I am up in the middle of the night. Besides, I do some of my best work late at night.

  45. I can honestly say I have never been abused by a man, mainly because i tend to pick men like my father who was a very gentle man. Unfortunately, men like my father aren’t very good matches for me. lol. Anyways, it’s just as well that I was never abused by a man, because I wouldn’t be writing a blog today. I don’t think prisons allow that and that is where i would be living, due to the murder I would have committed. I once had a guy try to force himself on me. He was from this very wealthy family, his great great grandfather had been the vice president or some such shit. He decided he had to have me. Anyways, that didn’t work out. Not only didn’t it work out, but I told my brother. He carried his nuts around in a wheel barrow due to this problem he had of getting the shit kicked out of him everytime he left home. Then he moved away. Heh. My brother was my best friend.

  46. One last thing. I have to admit that I have now gone back through and read Uppity’s post – and all comments, one last time. (I won’t admit to how many times)

    Thank you all again!

Shez ZK: I didn’t see your comment until just now. Thank you!

Your comment says it all – where do WE go from here?

    Organize!

“We MUST have new Women’s Coalitions formed and promoted, to do the JOB where the other women’s groups have shockingly slacked off horribly and let all of us down.”

    >

And, Shez ZK, absolutely hillary44.org will go on our blogroll ! I guess we need to stop asking for permission to add those that have inspired us – and apologize later, if needed !

  47. That Herding Cats video is hilarious. Thanks for the belly laugh on this frosty morning!
