UPDATE 10 AM Est: Libya declares a Cease Fire. (but nobody trusts the psycho).

Libyan Foreign Minister Mussa Kussa said the ceasefire was intended “to protect civilians”.

Translation: Gadaffy doesn’t want anybody killed unless he gets to do it.

UPDATE: Oil plunges $3 a barrel on Cease Fire.

UPDATE: US stocks open higher on Cease Fire.

UPDATE: We interrupt the libyan psycho to inform America that the Japanese radiation plume has reached our shores but our president assures us it’s not dangerous.

UPDATE Japan: Japan reaches out to USA for help Japan reaches out to the USA for help averting nuclear disaster. They had this to say about ‘unexceptional’ USA:

    I remember that and I wonder if we are going to get a whole new wave of speculation about Armageddon and Gaddafi being the one responsible.
    I do not believe in the whole Nostradamus thing, but it is fun to wonder, kind of like it’s fun to wonder about “Revelations” and Astrology.
    BTW 2… I am a Sagitarian with Leo rising and Taurus as my Moon sign. That makes me stubborn(taurus) and arrogant(leo) in my tactlessness (sag). That’s me, so I kind of have to think twice in my amusement of people who follow astrology closely.

He picked up a belief here (or rather, struck a pose and hung onto it for awhile), picked up another belief there (struck THAT pose), etc.

    Yeah, I think anything that seems like internally generated ideas or principles on his part are actually just like pieces of seaweed that are draped here and there on a piece of coral.
