The Truth About ObamaCare & Medicare

If you don’t have a physician taking care of you right now and you are on Medicare? Find one ASAP. I’ve watched primary care physicians bail on Medicare since SCOTUS gave it the okay in June. Until you need care, you probably won’t think much of what is happening. Thank you POTUS for stealing from Medicare to prop up ObamaCrapCare.

To tell you that there will be change in the coming year is to put it mildly. There lies an undercurrent of deceit in government assisted healthcare. For many, they won’t know anything until they or their loved ones actually need to use Medicare. How many physicians do you know of that want to continue to work for pennies on the dollar? Can anyone honestly believe that those that have taken an oath to heal will be comfortable in helping to indirectly ration healthcare? This physician was working for a hospital. He didn’t have overhead.

“I was a typical physician employed by a hospital,” Dr. Slatosky said. “I had all the say so of a janitor. We had no say in scheduling or work hours, and if you needed a day off you had to beg for it.”

Do the math. Physicians cannot pay their overhead by being compensated at pennies on the dollar. Nichols and dimes add up.

Claims and billing ate up the largest portion, 55 percent, of time physicians’ practices spent interacting with health insurers. For primary-care practices, it accounted for about 53 percent. Clerical staff spent the largest number of hours on claims and billing, spending an average, per week, of 27.1 hours in primary-care practices, 29.8 hours in medical specialists’ practices, and 28.7 hours in surgical specialists’ practices.

For small, one-to-two physician practices, the annual cost of dealing with health insurers was greater for primary-care physicians than medical or surgical specialists. Small primary-care practices spent an average of $72,675 interacting with health insurers. Medical specialists spent $70,788 and surgical specialists spent $61,187. The clerical staff, which accounted for the bulk of the hours spent on claims and billing, cost small primary-care practices an average of $31,666 annually, while they cost medical specialists $27,595 and surgical specialists $27,977.

Keep in mind that claims and billing is only one part of the big picture. Add malpractice premiums, insurance for the office staff, medical and office supplies, rent, advertising, etc. Are you seeing the same picture that I am?

According to the Texas Medical Association, 78 percent of Texas physicians were still accepting all new Medicare patients in 2000.³³ By 2011 that had dropped to 67 percent.³⁴

And it will continue to drop. Where is torte reform? What government forgets is that healthcare is also a business. When the business loses money, it goes under. So, are you ready for kitchen surgery?

Obama, You Gotta Have Friends

A reminder for all of us:  THIS is what we all fought against. Our disgust with the system that threw over the most qualified candidate for a man who befriends the scum of the earth?  Let’s not forget what surrounds teh won.

Sing Bette Midler’s lyrics to “You’ve Gotta Have Friends” while you peruse Obama’s pals. Sing outloud and drown out the Obama’s Children Choir that has been stuck in your head since you heard it.

I’m a little sick of the idea of using children to promote political positions and especially candidates, so I’m inclined to look at this kind of effort with a jaundiced eye under any circumstances. However, this video seems even creepier than most.

Some of these folks pride themselves by wearing the label of “community organizer.”

Careful about bringing them up as Obama surrogates will label you a RACIST if you start yapping about them. Gov. Palin is now being accused of being a racist, just because she brought up Ayers.

“Our opponent … is someone who sees America it seems as being so imperfect that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country,” she said, referring to a co-founder of the 1960s-era Weather Underground, an organization the FBI labeled as a domestic terrorist group.

One of the clearest examples you’ll ever see of why The One seldom dirties his hands by playing the race card. Not only will his political surrogates do it for him, his media surrogates happily will, too. There were stories out yesterday about how McCain’s planning to go after him on Ayers over the next month and how Team Barry’s planning a little “preemptive” action. Investigation by a Federal prosecutor is ongoing into whether Rezko received government contracts in exchange for political contributions to Barack Obama, and whether Obama was a conspirator in the “Pay to Play” scheme. There is still the possibility that Obama will be named as a defendant, which likely depends on the outcome of the November election.

Nadhmi Auchi: This former member of Saddam Hussein’s government lent money to Tony Rezko just prior to the Obama’s purchasing their Hyde Park mansion. Auchi has also donated money to Obama’s campaign.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright (right): Obama’s radical pastor for 20 years (at Trinity United Church of Christ), whose claims that the AIDS epidemic was caused by the US government and 9/11/01 was an “inside job,” caused Obama to leave the church earlier this year amid a firestorm of controversy about Wrights comments and connection with Marxism-based “Black Liberation Theology”.

The Harvard-educated doctor, who has appeared on “The Doctors” and was featured on an episode of ABC News’ “20/20″ discussing butt augmentations for African-American women, may have more victims, police said.

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons has very high standards.  (Perhaps, they need someone to help them screen some of these applicants?)

One savvy patient saw the camera as she was disrobing, grabbed it and ran all the way to the county attorney’s office.

Dr. Lance Everett Wyatt, a Los Angeles-based plastic surgeon, was arrested Thursday after a patient allegedly noticed a hidden camera in his office while she was disrobing. The woman ran from the office with the camera and turned it over to police, said Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen A. Trutanich.

Wyatt faces four counts of surreptitious filming, one count of batter and one count for inappropriately touching a patient, according to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office.

This dude is sketchy.  You sure they have the right people in admissions?   We all know a few other bad apples that have come out of Harvard, don’t we?

Not to be outdone, Columbia has one sick pup that bought a spy pen cam to look up the little wimminz dresses.   Dr. Adam Levinson is actually a prof in the med school.  He’s a urologist.  (Doesn’t he get enough looksees at work?  Vommit.) Don’t look for Dr. Levinson’s page at the Mt. Sinai website…he’s a 404.

In New York City, Dr. Adam Levinson, a respected urologist at Mount Sinai Hospital, was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly used a pen camera to film up the skirts of two women during rush hour on the subway.

Sheldon Birthwright, who used to be a screener for the Transportation Security Administration, said he spotted Levinson on the subway and noticed he had something that looked like a pen hidden in a rolled-up newspaper as the doctor stood up near a woman in a miniskirt.

“Pen is directly inside [the newspaper], just on the thigh, calmly just moving it around…I guess he was getting different angle shots of whatever he was getting,” Birthwright told WABC.

Once he realized what Levinson was allegedly doing, Birthwright alerted officers, who arrested Levinson.

Well, those two assclowns can now kiss their highly educated professions buh bye.

Both scored high marks in the trust category on HealthGrades.com, a site that allows patients to review their doctors.

I don’t think those reviews are going to be of any use to anyone, do you?

Life Is TOO Short And YES It’s Far More Meaningful When There Is Less of It Left

I’m going to burst if I hear one more man tell another woman that they are in need of maintenance, less the world be a fuglier place. I could not agree more with our SOS Hillary Clinton via Shout it loud, we’re wrinkly and proud!

…‘life is too short’ gets more meaningful when there’s less of it left. As Hillary Clinton ably put it last week, when snapped without slap on: ‘At some point it’s just not something that deserves a lot of time and attention.’

Meet Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh who rules as an expert on women’s beauty and Botox? He makes a lot of $$$$ selling women maintenance products in order to make a less fugly world.

(Does he use the product to not make the world a fuglier place? You be the judge.)

He even hangs upon his wall a picture of Brigitte Bardot as a warning of how grotesque a woman becomes should she reject such procedures.

According to him, this could be you.

Maintenance is not a perk up for a tired face, it’s more of a “digging for gold” to the good ole bank account.

He banks not on self-respect; he banks — literally, at £400 a pop — on self-loathing.

For Sebagh and his ilk, the message is clear: the defining characteristic of ugliness is age and, by extension, the defining characteristic of an unworthy woman is one who shows any sign of it.
