    Don’t know how to upload an image….But it’s from Terminator & It’s Linda as S. Connor….

  3. K gang I’m busy with a project so pickins will be lean the next few days. I’ll give you some open threads and try to get something up soon as I can.

  4. God sent down an owners manual with women? That’s funny, I don’t remember reading that part in Genesis. That explains the whole thing about using Adams rib to form Eve….”some assembly required”.

Those people are just evil…pure evil.

  5. Well, it is obvious to me that his mum did not go bat shit crazy with a rod on this mess.

  6. Nunly they don’t use old testament. They follow a pervert who molested little children and beat his wives. And honestly, the OT seems to have a lot of sujugative stuff in it too. Women are dirty during the wrong times. We should beat recalcitrant children, and so on.

organized religion in general is created by men so how can we expect a fair shake? Some of the nicest people I know aren’t religious at all and they seem to follow the tenants of the NT instinctively without all the entrapments of man that were added in, like telling women to shut up in church.

  7. The ONLY people I trust are those who DON’T subscribe to ANY organized religion. And I don’t think it’s really fair to blame all of this on men: religious women are at the very least enablers…

  8. Meaning there would be no organized religion if it were just men…

  9. I like the current theory that the author of genesis was a woman…at least one version of it….That coptic priest in Egypt who actually explains the perversities in the koran and uses with and kickass socratic dialog to take on the mullahs & the imams….There’s a huge bounty on this guy cause he’s effective. His whole thing is that mos muslims can’t read arabic and don’t even know what’s in the koran & he picks it apart & simply asks like about marrying children…Why is pedophilia encouraged in the book….He’s rogue & they can’t shut him down…..

  10. It takes courage & this guy has it in spades….imho…..

Although he is a religious cleric on a mission….it is related in feeling to anyone who objects to sharia law….Plus he can be very funny….I’m just sayin’

  11. Uppity:

organized religion in general is created by men so how can we expect a fair shake?

That’s why we need women to infiltrate the system….badass nuns to the rescue! Bwahahaha!

I know many non religious people who are the nicest people, too. I don’t push my religion on anyone…just enjoying the ride as I journey through life. 🙂

  12. The ONLY people I trust are those who DON’T subscribe to ANY organized religion. And I don’t think it’s really fair to blame all of this on men: religious women are at the very least enablers…

Wow, parkslopevoter—that’s pretty harsh. Sounds almost…I don’t know, insulting to ANY woman who happens to follow her faith. How is that any different than a fundamentalist Christian hating anyone who “doesn’t” believe in their religion?

    No middle ground for you?

Oh…and I’d hardly call myself an “enabler”. My belief’s just differ from yours, that’s all. I shouldn’t be considered a threat.

  13. ACK! I started a relgious fight.

    White Flag! White Flag!

  14. Uppity- Nah…I’m a lover, not a fighter. 😉

  15. Nunly, that WAS a bit harsh, and I apologize. Although I don’t see where it is insulting to only WOMEN who follow their faith and not MEN???

In truth, I have seen all three of my sister sbecome “born again” Christians which has led to an estrangement from them, so I guess I’m a little biased.

Finally, you’re not a threat – my only point was that if men are to be blamed for the institution of organized religion, they had to have some help, no?

We can agree to disagree, and I’m sure you’re a perfectly nice person…

  16. I don’t view religion as being the problem, it’s only when religion merges with state power that things get ugly. Most governments already have too much power, when they start to believe they have God on their side, or that they speak for God, the people don’t stand a chance. You can protest against God, you can’t petition your grievances, you can’t vote him out of office.

  17. In my opinion, organized religion unnecessarily separates people. That said, I would have to defend the right of people to worship as they see fit.

And I didn’t say that I don’t believe in God – maybe I do. But pronouns used to refer to God are totally inappropriate. That’s professing too much knowlegdge, imho…

  18. I would really like to show this guy how wonderful his rod is. I would really, really like to show this guy how far up his arse it can reach. Then I would like to show him how long his intestines are by shoving it down that way, chocolate latter after having been up his arse and all. I would like to do a Billie Mays commercial with his rod and for a finale I would love to shove it in one ear because it sure as hell will come out the other side seeing as there is no grey matter in that empty head.

  19. Type,

Very, very graphic! But I agree with the sentiments. This pig (and the others like him) don’t deserve to live!

  20. Park thanks for those words to Nunly. She really is a sweetie and is very faithful to her religion without forcing it on everyone else. That, we simply cannot resist respecting.I love religious people who lead by example instead of brute force, don’t you? I mean when you lead by example, people actually want to follow you. That’s what Jesus himself did. Nunly always does her very best to lead by example, which is why she felt bad.

I know exactly what you are saying about losing family members to the so-called Born Again movement which I sum up this way:

“When I was a child I asked God to give me a bicycle. BUt then I realized that’s not how God works. So I stole a bicyle and just asked Him to forgive me”.

Just kidding. Well, not really, lol.

I think we both agree that we do not want to live in a theocracy and I think that should be respected. Like Nunly, I believe. But I also believe that it’s my personal thing and I have no business shoving it up your nose. And I know Nunly feels that way too. You are a very big person for apologizing.

  21. good luck with your project Upp

  22. Well lets hope all women make sure they carry a rod to beat the hell out of the man that raises his hand to her. UGH What a absolute farce that idiot is. I cannot even describe what he is, mindblowing.

  23. Socially Sanctioned Sadism. This was not just a sermon in a mosque. It was the sermon of the week aired on television, a moron preaching to morons. I don’t ordinarily hold with book burning, but in the case of the Koran, I’ll make an exception.

  24. Hi Park! Like Uppity said…I appreciate the apology. I was trying to get over here to write a comment earlier but my phone keeps ringing and I’ve been running a million errands today.

Thanks for all the really nice stuff you said, Uppity!

And if it’s any consolation…”Born Again’s” kinda scare me a little too….and I’m not opposed to daydreaming about beating the crap out of idiots like this wife beater guy, which I guess makes me more like the Catholic nuns than not. 😉

  25. I’ve gone to churches sporadically over the years, but gave up on it when I came to the conclusion that two thirds of the people there were just there to pass out business cards. The rest, well, a few of them were Christians, but most of the remaining third were just there to clean themselves up for others to see. Those were the ones who threw words from the bible around like they were something to be used to get high on, and impress people. Very fake. Oh, yeah, and a few were just there to be the choir’s rock stars. I’ve met many good Christians in my life, just not very many in a church.

As for the neanderthals in the videos, this is exactly the reason why they live their lives in rubble and poverty. They are morally bankrupt. A family isn’t something you have, it is something you serve, with love and mutual respect.

  26. TWS at 1156, that imaginary scene would in real life be very fatiguing. But it is rather odd that mentality of these people proselytizing in the videos.

Swell at 510 uses a fitting term “neanderthals.”

  27. Yes, that term neanderthals is appropos, especially with the two images of the women on the sidebars. “This is criminal” and “No justice no peace.” Do not forget.

  28. Hmmm….I prefer the term cretin….chuckle…..I mean there might have been plenty of nice neanderthals but we don’t know since the latest evidence seems to imply that our ancestors systematically hunted them down and ate them or dinner….

cretin – n. a stupid, obtuse, or boorish person.
    Webster’s Dictionary

  29. Maybe he was just a mean nasty sadistic control freak.

  30. I truely hope that the seminar that I read is being conducted in Turkey which is trying to expunge from the Koran these disgusting passages are successful. Islam today is about as repellant as Christianity in it’s most virulent form was three hundred years ago. Fundementalism of any stripe is odious, but this brand of Islam truely wins the prize. There can be on reproachment with these people.
