He’s 3 years old, in a wheel chair and on his way to Disney. Obviously, he’s a terr’ist.

Whew! Glad they checked him! He looks almost as dangerous as this kid.

Or…..gasp! This one!

  1. Well, UW, you never know what toddlers have in their casts! Seriously, these folks receive as much screening as drivers in my fair state of California who seem to think it is OK to ignore that octagonal red sign.

  2. I added a few more to the post who look even MORE dangerous!

  3. those tsa people don’t have a brain one. 👿

  4. Oh yeah, they look like real dangerous types. Real Manson type, that three year old…no wonder TSA took him down.

  5. Well, you know, leaking popsickles and chewed Zwieback’s can be volatile and dangerous.

  6. TSA Screener = dream job for child abusers & pedophiles.

I hope they do find “dirty bombs” in every diaper they stick a finger in – it would serve them right.

  7. And like votermom says, those “dirty bombs” can be something out of this world.

  8. votermom, enough of them have certainlly been caught at it. They are indeed flocking to those jobs.

  9. Wait till you guys meet this week’s Cockroach of the week.

  10. Is it TSA or goat lover?

  11. This is crap, We need to follow Israel’s lead and profile.

  12. Where in the world has common sense gone? I read last week that an airport in Florida is no longer using TSA. They are using a private company that meets the quals.

  13. Obama’s high dollar donations in the crapper. The man who would raise a billion isn’t doing so well at it.
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/obamas-high-dollar-donations-lagging/2012/03/09/gIQApeitKS_story.html.

  14. That’s okay with him UW. The girls are off to another vacay in Mexico with 12 friends. The links at the UK Telegraph have suddenly disappeared. Ahh, Essence didn’t lose their links. http://www.essence.com/2012/03/19/malia-obama-travels-to-mexico-for-spring-break/ It’s good to be the first fam.

  15. 10 severed heads left as a message to the Pope. I don’t think that I would have let my kid go to Mexico.

  16. Dumb me, I should be thinkin’ tiny tike cast wearing terr’ist, not Mexican thugs. My bad!

  17. Now this is pathetic in a crazy crazy way. Coptic Christians were crushed to death as tens of thousands turned out to see the DEAD Coptic pope sit on his incredibly opulent throne one last time. Photo of dead pope on thrown included.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2117036/Three-dead-crush-DEAD-Coptic-Pope-sitting-throne-timerone.html

  18. ……..and of course, the picture wouldn’t be complete without soldiers standing on guard to watch for “militant muslims”. Ah, Arab Spring!!!! MY ASS.

  19. Those two crazy asses sent their daughters to Mexico???????????????????????????????///

  20. But of coruse it is probably costing taxpayers millions to keep them safe in a country they SHOULDN”T BE GOING TO

Like mother like daughters. Don’t care how much money they waste that isn’t theirs, so long as they get their vacay way.

  21. Yes, it’s Spring Break.

  22. I don’t care if it’s spring break! That’s what I would say to MY kids. AND…….god knows how much taxpayer money will be wasted on security for this little trip tantrum.

  23. I like the photo of the “sleeping” Pope. It would have given me nightmares as a kid. Not so much now. Looks like a few friends during St Paddy’s day after knocking a few back. lol

  24. Get this one: Murkowski says she wishes her female constituents had lobbied her against voting for the Blunt Amendment.

What? YOu need to be Effing LOBBIED to do the RIGHT THING??????????

  25. I guess I will never relate to a religious leader living in opulence with a starving, suffering, and tortured constuency.

  26. 10 severed heads left as a message to the Pope. I don’t think that I would have let my kid go to Mexico.

omg the ten heads are actually in a photo (blurred out but still) ack!

I can’t figure out what gang did it?

And what parent sends their 13yo kid by there themselves; I don’t care how many SS bodyguards they have with them? Parenting fail!

  27. Wow, good gawd she actually said that? I’m stunned.

  28. I think it’s all pretty gross UW. Ick.

  29. Oh votermom, the plastic jeezus can protect from afar. I agree, FAIL as a parent.

  30. Plastic Jesus, you say.

  31. Delurking to add my two cents on the whole Malia goes to Mexico fiasco.
    1. Malia is only 13 yrs old! THIRTEEN! Since when do kids that age go away on spring break?
    2. Were there no AMERICAN destinations good enough for this child – if she MUST have “spring break.”?

FCS “spring break” is for college students. And you are correct- it is costing us a gazillion dollars to spoil the child. I read 25 secret service went along.
And just who is paying for the 12 friends? Did they take an Air Force flight? Who footed that bill?
Back to lurking. Yes everything is ok. No I have not found a job yet.

  32. These Obamas don’t give a rip what is going on with individuals and families who are suffering economically . If they did, they would know that these trips are off the chart during this time of trouble. It is all about them.

  33. OMG! Most the the mainstream articles about Daughter Obama’s spring break in Mexico have been pulled!! What’s going on??
I found this at the Daily Caller:

An AFP report that President Barack Obama’s 13-year-old daughter, Malia, is spending spring break in Oaxaca, Mexico appears to have been completely scrubbed from the Internet news sites that first reported it.

AFP first reported around mid-day Monday that Malia Obama was vacationing in Mexico with 12 friends under the protection of 25 Secret Service agents and a number of local police officers.

Are they worried about security? Then they shouldn’t have sent her! It was reported as a “school trip”, but that seems odd considering all the travel warnings for Mexico.

  34. imust, I think his campaign is worried about the voter backlash.

  35. This is a very elite school, I would think they are smarter than to make a class trip to Mexico. I don’t buy it.

  36. Rub-a-dub-dub….this story is being scrubbed from the net…wow!

  37. Yup, I recognize the plastic jeezus.

  38. It matters not that we foot the bill…shades of mommy and daddy.

  39. Well seriously it’s a very dangerous place and it not only should be scrubbed but it should happen.

  40. Yes imust, the internets are being washed as scrubbed as we post.

  41. And really I think the daily caller blows goats for printing exactly where she’s going. How very like them.

  42. More campaign money coming in from? Mexico is as corrupt as they come. This is insanity. Every college in the US has explicitly posted about the violence in Mexico.

  43. The thing is that most of what had been posted was very much advert for travel to Mexico. They didn’t leave out any details. Frankly, I would want the Bozo who alerted the world to their whereabouts, but that could have been Burton or Carney.

  44. Well yeah the gross stupidity of Obama’s clown squad is no secret, but they scrubbed it and DC just HAAAAAAD to put it up like they are dick tracy.

  45. There is no question her parents are irresponsible asshats for allowing this, but that doesn’t mean the rest of us should put a little girl’s well being in danger. They scrubbed it because they realized it was stupid and dangerous to print it. SO Daily caller just can’t resist, no offense but that’s so Breitbart of them. They don’t give a fast fuck who gets harmed so long as it’s not a right wing nutbag.

  46. Oh yeah I could just see my parents sending me to Mexico at age 13. Oh yeah. That would have happened. When Haley’s Comet rolled around.

  47. But Uppity, why would they send their daughter to a place so dangerous that they had do scrub any mention of it for security fears? She’s only 13. Why would she need to go on a vacay without her family?

  48. And when the first family has taken any of their many, many vacays, it was always published. There’s many things wrong with this story.
1.) why did she go without parents?
2.) why go someplace so dangerous?
3.) If she was going regardless and security/publicity was a concern, why didn’t they take care of that BEFORE she went rather than scrubbing later?? It wasn’t the DC that reported it first.

  49. My guess it was scrubbed because a moron should have never released it. That was my point. It was scrubbed and then DC just couldn’t resist putting it back up.

  50. But Uppity, why would they send their daughter to a place so dangerous that they had do scrub any mention of it for security fears? She’s only 13

Because they are stupid, irresponsible asshats in everything they do, so why not in parenting?

  51. Seriously this is a severe case of bad parenting. CPS would show up if anybody else did this.

  52. Ok here’s the quiz.

You are 13. You ask your parents if you can take a dozen of your best friends out of the country where people’s heads are frequently seen, but there bodies aren’t, and automatic weapons are their idea of sport with each other.

Now I want you to think back to when you were 13.

    What is your parents’ answer?

  53. My parents? My father would have looked at me and said, oh yeah sure honey. Ask your mother. Smirking when he said it.

My mother would have said, This is a joke right?

  54. My parents? Well, they would have dialed the local hospital and requested a pick up for the loon floor.

  55. Yes, but she’s not just any kid. Wouldn’t SS have to have cleared it? Aren’t there advisors? People who say…uhh…no…even though your POTUS, you can’t let your 13 year old daughter go to Mexico! FCS!!!!

  56. imust, who the F knows with these people? I mean, I am GOBSMACKED.

  57. HAHAHA McNorman. After my mother asked the question, she would have said, Now go clean your room and get back to me when you’re 25.

  58. Don’t get me wrong. I went to plenty of places. WITH my parents. And certainly NOT in countries that were considered unfriendly FCS.

  59. imust, maybe it’s not true. I would like to think it was just not true. We’re talking serious judgment issues otherwise.

  60. McNorman, your parents were from Mexico, right? Even THEY wouldn’t have done this.

  61. My daughter will be involved in a school competition soon and they have to stay overnight in San Diego…..and I’m not letting her go alone! It’s too CLOSE to Mexico! (and she’s 16!)

  62. Don’t blame you one bit, imust.

  63. You know, it’s like those young 20 somethings that got arrested in Iran. Like WTF were they doing there anyways? Are their parents NUTS? And the taxpayer got billed a pretty penny to save them too. What a bunch of shit. They should be billed. Dont tell me those kids had the money to make a trip to Iraq, they got it from their Bank Of America parents. What parent is willing to pay for such a trip and endanger their children????

  64. Wasn’t it Rockefeller’s son that disappeared and got eaten by headhunters or some such shit? Rich morons.

  65. Back in the day, if you tried this crap in Mexico…you booked a life sentence cloistered in a nunnery or an asylum.

  66. Imust you got it right. Better safe than finding out that she is MIA in the morning.

  67. Yes, the 20 somethings that crossed into Iran didn’t think anything could possibly happen to them.

  68. Then there was Lisa Ling’s sis that crossed into N Korea and was captured. Must have been bad GPS, right? Nothing bad could possibly happen.

  69. Yeah toggling the line between N and S Korea. What could possibly go wrong?

  70. I always wonder what we have to pay in order to get these morons back.

  71. Stop the presses! Coming to a theater near you this summer: http://2016themovie.com/

Yeah and yum — must buy advance tix.

  72. Not all 20 somethings are dimwits, but I thought everyone would get a giggle or howl after reading this one.

    How to make twentysomethings happy.

    They’re not fans of authority.

  73. Why is Mom lurking (her “delurking” comment)????? Mom, you have to be a regular commenter. I’m running low on my commonsensegram quotient!!

  74. Oh it’s millions, McNorman. We even had to pay a ransom for the young woman, remember? Shoulda made her parents cough it up. Don’t forget we had the state department working for those families for over a year. Teach them all a lesson, the taxpayers aren’t in for footing bills for their lousy parenting. These are rich people and they should be reimbursing for their own stupidity.

  75. The fact that it was Mexico actually meant greater security was needed. I mean, that country is on the State Dept.’s high-caution-advisory list, FCS! She would’ve needed fewer secret service agents if she’d gone to a W. European country, e.g. Then again, she could’ve vacay’ed in the US.

  76. NES, not sure that I could do that movie without packing two seriously large full flasks to that.

  77. Oh not those crackpots from CPAC again.

Another movie that will go nowhere, NES. All the fundies will watch it and they are already the choir.

  78. NES at 13, she shouldn’t be vacaying anywhere without her parents, and God knows she’s been to plenty of places.

  79. Ray LaHood’s son and friends were released after a large extortion fee was paid in Egypt just a six weeks ago.

  80. Wasn’t it those CPAC demons that made the Hillary movie that she got stopped? Evil bastards, they are. Just because Obama is their target doesn’t make them worth anymore spit.

  81. But, Upps, it’s been produced by a Hollywood bigwig producer — the same guy who produced Jurassic Park and some other blockbusters.

  82. LOL McNorman, they may not all be dimwits but when you take a trip to romp in Iraq and hike near Iran, you ARE a dimwit.

  83. I want to do awesome things with awesome people in awesome places and on my own terms. — @tara

ROFL! With someone else’s awesome money.
    This is not a brainiac.

  84. I don’t believe that was CPAC, Upps. It was a group called Citizens United Not T____ [something]. The acronym was of course deliberate.

  85. Thought it would make you chuckle. 😀

  86. Last time I had a thought like tara, I was skipping across a puddle of water. I think I was 5 years old.

  87. I want to sit in my undies on the couch, drinking a Scotch, tapping out brilliant words on my PC AND getting paid for it. — @UppityWoman

  88. Hahahah Sophie.

  89. Last time I had a thought like tara, I was skipping across a puddle of water. I think I was 5 years old.

    Bahahahahaha.

  90. Yeah that’s right it was the CUN people. Pigs.

  91. ahahahahahaaha Sophie

We don’t have to be twentysomethings to have fun, do we?

  92. THis ain’t gonna be no walk in Jurassic Park NES.

  93. THese propaganda movies always fizzle. Wait till SONY releases their Obama Killed Osama With His Bare Hands movie in…October of course…

  94. Book coming out next week.
“Showdown: The Inside Story of How Obama Fought Back Against Boehner, Cantor, and the Tea Party,” by journalist David Corn

    :::Snort::::

Corn writes that after the midterm elections, Obama told labor leaders in December 2010 that he held Fox partly responsible for him “losing white males.”

“…Fed by Fox News, they hear Obama is a Muslim 24/7, and it begins to seep in…The Republicans have been at this for 40 years. They have new resources, but the strategy is old,” Corn recounted Obama as saying.

    :::Double Snort:::

  95. I can’t wait for the scene where these guys are all in the Situation Room

and the cups of water on the desk vibrate with wave rings.

  96. imust! imustyoumustcomewithyourdaughterandsayhitome!

Do you know where they’re performing? I can tell you what kind of area it is.

San Diego isn’t far from MX, that’s true, but there are a few suburbs between it and the border. Within San Diego itself, Southeast San Diego area is a little iffy. Anything north of Hwy 8 is basically safe (except there are Asian gangs in Linda Vista area). If it’s a music competition and is at San Diego Symphony Hall, that’s downtown, that’s safe other than panhandlers (and it has an enclosed parking structure, anyway).

  97. You know how people are supposed to identify any personal interests they have, for example, they need to tell you that they own some of this stock they’re telling you about….?

These book writers should have to disclose that they are part of the infatuated, fellating, journo-listers All-Obama-All-the-Time-tiger-beat group!

  98. lorac, we’ll be at several venues (prelims, semi-finals and finals)….all north of hwy 8 though! 🙂

  99. And so the hype continues….ala Joe Biden via yahoo “news”…..

Vice President Joe Biden said Monday that the raid that killed Osama bin Laden was the most “audacious plan” of the past 500 years. Biden’s comments, made at a Democratic fundraiser in Morris Township, NJ, ranked the May 2011 assault that ended the Al-Qaeda chief’s life above the D-Day invasion of Normandy in 1944, the surprise landing at Inchon in 1950 that turned the tide of the Korean War or, going back a bit further, George Washington’s daring night-time crossing of the Delaware River before the Battle of Trenton in 1776.
“You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain. We never had more than a 48% probability that he was there,” Biden said, hailing the raid as a shining example of President Barack Obama’s leadership.
“Do any one of you have a doubt that if that raid failed that this guy would be a one-term president?” Biden asked, according to the media pool report from the event. “This guy is willing to do the right thing and risk losing.”

  100. Do any one of you have a doubt that if that raid failed that this guy would be a one-term president?” Biden asked

I never had a doubt that he would be a failure, the raid has nothing to do with it!

“This guy is willing to do the right thing and risk losing.”

Oh, goody. Fairy tales at bedtime.

  101. Hey lorac:

    Are you and Sophie related?

I was looking at your avatars and the resemblance is uncanny. You two could be twins.

  102. tsa is such a joke. You know, they put lakerwade in one of those plastic (acrylic?) bomb boxes a few years ago, cuz he had leg braces on. I offered to take the braces off, put them in a bin and let them go thru the xray machine, and laker walk thru the metal detector and put his braces back on afterwards, but no, that would have been the humane and common sense thing to do. So instead, locked him in a box, had several other TSA officers running up and creating a panic (I think they were using him for training purposes), terrifying my poor son, who thought he was getting taken away by the govt, and infuriating me & hubbie. I had to push hubbie away, becuz his face was turning purple with rage and I was afraid he’d do something and then we’d really get it. They didn’t let us near laker for 10-15 minutes, but I stood where he could see me, poor buddy. I can’t believe these fucking idiots. They are just now, finally coming up with a plan to let frequent flyers do a security profile and then just go thru a metal detector, which will eventually relieve some of the long lines, but will take years to really get going.

    I agree with Hillbillie.

  103. AnnE, thanks for the link about the proposed Tenn abortion bill. Simply horrific:

“The Life Defense Act of 2012, sponsored by state Rep. Matthew Hill (R-Jonesboro), mandates that the Tennessee Department of Health make detailed demographic information about every woman who has an abortion available to the public, including her age, race, county, marital status, education level, number of children, the location of the procedure and how many times she has been pregnant. Each report would also have to include the name of the doctor who performed the procedure.”

  104. AnnE, thanks for link about horrific abortion bill going thru Tennessee leg:

“The Life Defense Act of 2012, sponsored by state Rep. Matthew Hill (R-Jonesboro), mandates that the Tennessee Department of Health make detailed demographic information about every woman who has an abortion available to the public, including her age, race, county, marital status, education level, number of children, the location of the procedure and how many times she has been pregnant. Each report would also have to include the name of the doctor who performed the procedure.”

Some of the comments are really good.

  105. Crap. I think I’m in spam now! If one of you guys fishes me out, I tried to post the same comment twice.

  106. Newsflash for Biden:

If 0 hadn’t “got” Bin Laden, I’d still have 1000 reasons for him to be a one-term president. Even one term has been way too many for me….

  107. From AnnE’s post, upthread about the proposed Tenn abortion bill:

The Life Defense Act of 2012, sponsored by state Rep. Matthew Hill (R-Jonesboro), mandates that the Tennessee Department of Health make detailed demographic information about every woman who has an abortion available to the public, including her age, race, county, marital status, education level, number of children, the location of the procedure and how many times she has been pregnant. Each report would also have to include the name of the doctor who performed the procedure.

  108. Damn! I’ve been trying to post a snippet from AnnE’s link upthread about proposed abortion legis. in Tenn. It says that every for every abortion, detailed information about the woman and Dr must be made public! And it already passed their house. Check it out, really unfreakingbelievable. Don’t these idiots have anything better to do?

  109. Comments from the Tenn abortion article:

“Welcome to the GOP inquisition. If you are a woman they’ve been after you for over a year with 1200 pieces of legislation aimed at restricting your constitutional rights, your health care, your choices and your family planning efforts…:”

    and

“I gotta love these “law-abiding” citizens trying to pass a law that is obviously illegal. I guess they never heard of HIPPAA, but they really should get up to speed before they do something as reprehensible as this. Are they trying to get more people killed? So much for being pro-life. The movement is simply anti-abortion, for some reason, where the only thing that counts is the fetus.”

  110. Yep — That’s the corporate personhood case. The issue arose from the Cun group’s making of the Hillary-trashing film.

  111. The Ob kills Os film has been kicked into next year.

  112. Obi’s presidency has been like a walk through Jurassic Park.

  113. Yes, Oswald we’re twins – but as you can see, she went through a communist poster phase in her youth, and I went through a wet phase!

  114. The Ob kills Os film has been kicked into next year.

That’s GREAT news if he doesn’t intervene and have His Way.

  115. The blaze documents the story being pulled
    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/why-is-the-story-about-malia-obama-vacationing-in-mexico-disappearing-from-the-web/

If this is really because of the security concerns, I have a suggestion – why don’t they cancel the trip now that the cats out of the bag?

  116. First Daily Caller. Now the Blaze. You know, I simply do not understand why they are repeating something that might have been pulled because of safety. Now I’m no fan of the Obamas and that’s no secret. But this is bullshit. We have NO IDEA why that story was pulled but it IS possible it could put a child in danger. Why the Eff are they deliberately reprinting it. I think it is really REALLLY nasty. And for all we know, maybe that trip IS cancelled. But if it’s NOT, are the Daily Caller and The Blaze proud as can be that they are reprinting a story that can harm a child. This is the kind of SHIT that makes me hate the right as much as I hate the far left. To me, Dailyy Caller and Blaze disgust me as much as Kos and Moveon.

  117. I put DC into the Disgusting category when they had no problem printing an editorial by a judge who suggested corrective rape for lesbians. Sick bastards. So why am I even bothering.

    https://uppitywoman08.wordpress.com/2010/11/28/corrective-rape-for-lesbians-and-knuckle-dragging-judges/

  118. Any trip for a 13yo requiring 25 bodyguards is unsafe from the get-go, regardless of whether it flies under the radar or not.
BO & MO should put on their parent pants and cancel the trip.

  119. You are damned right on that one voter. For starters, if one of us were dumb and irresponsible enough to okay such a thing for our 13 year old, CPS would be at our door.

  120. After reading the PEW piece on news networks and how they claimed CNN was readjusting its image as an OBJECtiVE network, I gave them a shot today. So what did I see? An ENDLESS Loop of two things, and I DO mean endless loop: Michelle’s stint on Letterman and the kid who got shot in Florida, along with every That’s Racist speechifyer they could find. So far I have seen pretty much nothing else of any note. Click.
