Muslim Brotherhood Takes Egypt. Arab Spring For Men. Arab Winter For Women.

I hope they enjoy the huge reduction in infidel tourists. My heart bleeds for the women of Egypt.

Here are men celebrating.

And here are more men celebrating. I am sure you just can’t wait to take another tourism trip to Egypt. Dress warm, girls. Next up: The Caliphate.

  1. UW, it is pretty clear that the Democratic Party does not support women. It is only lip service. They fancy themselves progressives because they actually fetch their own coffee now. Isn’t that big of them? They claim to support women’s reproductive rights not because they believe women are morally or intellectually capable of making decisions that impact their lives, but because they do not want to be saddled with the financial burden of a child.

  2. This is a very sad day for women and also for Western humanistic values. Islamists really are the scourge of the earth. Hope the Egyptian military crushes the Muslim Brotherhood, and quick, before they get a pernicious grip on power. This is what happened in Iran. The liberal/western democracy forces got rid of the Shah, and then the mullahs drove in on a bulldozer and crushed all dissent, individual freedoms, and sanity.

People in the West should be careful what they wish for and encourage. Until there’s less poverty, more education and a greater/more powerful middle-class in the Middle East, democracy means rule in the name of the ignorant, poor, overly-religious and manipulated masses. Mine is a harsh elitist view, I admit, but it’s true.

  3. Great tweets, Upps.

  4. This is sad news, but it was completely predictable. To add fuel to the fire, we had Dopey talking about his miraculous ability to elicit “Hope!” and “Change” would support the uprising last Spring.

Didn’t any of the Obama Admin’s cheerleaders remember when Hezbollah won the Palestinian elections? Even THEY were surprised they won…. And look how great that turned out

  5. Well, I cursed them…

  6. NES if they take Libya over completely, they will have all the oil money. There will be no stopping their insanity.

  7. NES you forgot to add that yours is a view of experience over there in that religious shithole. As an escapee.

  8. It’s a sad day when a military junta seems saner and more helpful to the general population than the cancerous theocracy growing.

  9. I know Lizzy. I know. But many of us realized long ago that women had a better deal under Mubarak, simply because he kept the crazy Islamofascists in check. There you have it.

  10. Mark my words. These good people will come to wish for the Mubarak days again.

  11. One more thing. We should take the chant “Jerusalem will be our capital” very seriously. There will be blood. Much blood. And another attempt to eliminate Jews as in the past…….and with blessings of so many people who call themselves Democrats, including, I suspect, our current President.

  12. CBS Evening news showed Christiane Amanpour with all the men. In another part of city, short coverage of women crying or appearing uncontrollably distraught. CBS is probably now half way through 60 minutes, but it is not on my list of tolerable activities.

  13. So you think those little shits who harassed the bus monitor are the exception? Wait till you hear this little shit’s mouth.

  14. Great post Upps & great tweets. Great comments by all the Uppityites also. I’m sure this will be bad for the Coptics as well. A black day for freedom loving people everywhere. Yes, I hope their tourist money dries up to nothing.

  15. Ahmed Shafiq supporter, reacts to the knowledge that she is officially one step down from a goat now.

  16. I found this about the GM Food Labeling vote:

    http://www.examiner.com/article/california-s-senators-vote-for-open-gmo-labeling-most-states-not-so-fortunate

    wth New York?!?!?

  17. The boyz, however, are very very pleased.

  18. I would be more afraid than ever to live in Israel now. I have no desire to go anywhere in the ME or N Africa. What an f’in hell hole. I feel sad for anyone there thats not a muslim male.

  19. That insanity isn’t limed to those areas. A friend made her annual sojourn to Naples several years ago and couldn’t purchase a bottle of water in the sweltering heat because the Muslim vendor wouldn’t sell it to her. She had to ask some male passerby to make the purchase for her. In effin’ ITALY!!!

  20. I found another good article about the GM Food Labeling vote:

    http://foodfreedomgroup.com/2012/06/23/senate-votes-no-gmo-food-labels/

Only one repub voted for it, Lisa Murkowski. And look at all the dems that votes against…Al Franken fgs. I guess he’s pro-Franken food! I’m going to tweet that, if I can figure out how. Bastards, all of them, voting against the massive majority of this country who want this crap labeled. The only people who wouldn’t be for the labeling would obviously have to be the people who work in that industry.

  21. Until there’s less poverty, more education and a greater/more powerful middle-class in the Middle East

I thought Egypt had a fairly decent and educated middle class. I’ve never been there but I thought they did have a doctor/lawyer/merchant middle class there. I know Iraq did before the take over by us.

  22. Obviously I didn’t close a blockquote behind NES’s comment. I’m used to having an edit button over at TW.

    [Fixit Fairy visited Fredster’s comment]

  23. dwp, Italy is in no mood for that crap.

  24. I just did my first tweets.

  25. The cleric who introduced Mursi and said that the capital would be Jerusalem also said, “Mursi will liberate Gaza tomorrow.”

  26. socal, what’s your Twitter handle?

  27. That is scary.

  28. socalannie

  29. LOL!! I am already following you!

  30. Uppity, Thank You for giving SYD my email addy…..I know you are very busy and have a lot going on…. Just glad I can help in a small way…. 😉 🙂 😉 🙂 Thanks again….. 🙂 😉

  31. Nope…I’m following one of you…not the one who just tweeted.

  32. I take that back! I am following the right you! I just retweeted your Al Franken-food tweet

  33. Here’s a joint statement from McCain & Lierberman.

Nice wishes there. I wish those wishes for America as well.

  34. Thanks Sophie!

    Ha! Well said!

  37. Funny–we were just talking about pink slime….

Former Beef Products (BPI) EHS Director, Bruce Smith, is filing a lawsuit against a “national news broadcasting company and other individuals involved” because schools now have a choice over whether or not to serve pink slime and so far only three states have agreed to serve it next year: Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota

  38. An Egyptian plumber in Alexandria beat his pregnant wife to death upon learning that she had not voted for Muslim Brotherhood presidential candidate Mohammed Mursi, reported the Egyptian daily al-Wafd on Sunday.

According to police reports, the initial argument between the couple who was not named escalated into violence, despite her pleas. Battered and bruised, she was reported to have died at the hospital from injuries sustained.

  39. Lean Fine Textured Beef. Reminds me of the Clear Sky Initiative. It was anything but a clear sky initiative and that shit is anythihg but lean beef.

As a side not ktiv ought to reallly find somebody literate to write for them. This article was riddled with nonsensical sentences, sprinked with wrong words that don’t even belong there. I found myself ‘figuring’ out the world the moron really meant to use.

It is good to know that schools will be protected. However, the rest of us aren’t.

  40. imust can I please have a link to that Egyptian slimeball story?

  41. Here’s one: http://english.alarabiya.net/articles/2012/06/24/222413.html

  42. k thx.

  43. Oops, Sophie beat me to it! Thanks!

  44. I just had to tweet that. Animals.

  45. Yeah, the good life in Egypt, right Uppity?!

  46. Yeah, can’t wait to take a tour.

  47. UW,
More incredulous commen sense in this world at work.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2164119/Elf-safety-Boy-15-climbs-60ft-tree-save-cat-stuck-5-days–As-firemen-nothing.html

  48. Egyptian plumber without any regards for life, his wife, and his unborn child. For what? A politician?!?! Sheeple. With a box of rocks.

  49. Iran congratulates Morsi:

“The foreign ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran congratulates the victory of the Egyptian nation in these elections and the presidency of Doctor Mohammed Morsy,” it said in a statement on the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA).
“The revolutionary movement of the Egyptian people… is in its final stages of the Islamic Awakening and a new era of change in the Middle East”.

Era of CHANGE? Would that be Change they can Believe in????

(BTW, John Kerry says we shouldn’t “prejudge” the Muslim Brotherhood.)

  50. Stone Age Change, imust?

  51. Yeah crier! A regular renaissance in reverse. A retro-renaissance?

  52. No pie for them.

  53. Pie is for infidels.

  54. You are too kind.

  55. I guess the stone age boyz can have pie, since it was around during another stone age. From wiki:

The first pies appeared around 9500 BC, in the Egyptian Neolithic period or New Stone Age, when the use of stone tools shaped by polishing or grinding became common, the domestication of plants and animals, the establishment of permanent villages, and the practice of crafts such as pottery and weaving. Early pies were in the form of galettes wrapping honey as a treat inside a cover of ground oats, wheat, rye or barley. These galettes developed into a form of early sweet pastry or desserts, evidence of which can be found on the tomb walls of the Pharaoh Ramesses II, who ruled from 1304 to 1237 BC, located in the Valley of the Kings.[2] Sometime before 2000 BC, a recipe for chicken pie was written on a tablet in Sumer.

  56. Ok. Stone Age Change Pie special. Galettes wrapping peanut butter inside a cover of ground oats, wheat, rye or barley. Can’t drink anything when you eat one either. There. Change.

  57. Got Goat Milk?

  58. Goat milk only for goat babies or females. None for retro-renaissance men.

  59. They have their politicians to thank.

  60. Are you putting females on equal par with goat babies?

  61. Goats are running away from Egypt as we speak.

  62. No pie for you either.

  63. I can’t help it. All this religious nutbag stuff just reminds me of..

  64. Do you blame them? The goats that is….

  65. Goats serve a duel purpose for them, unlike women. They rape a woman then they kill her. They rape a goat, then they kill it, then they eat it.

  66. Yeah, but no pie for dessert. Well, crier doesn’t think they should have any.

  67. What ever happened to NES???? Didn’t she usually hang out in the wee hours??

  68. Nope. Goat babies and females more deserving of goat milk than retro renaissance men. Especially since they get to eat their peanut butter, ground oats, wheat, rye or barley, pie.

  69. They must eat their pie now in sweltering 100 degree heat too. With nothing to drink.

  70. Harsh crier…harsh….after galetts wrapped with peanut butter??

  71. That is what happens to depraved fundamentalists. They want to go back to harsh times. Harsh eats it is.

  72. Bots ae the same world over. They want and want. When in reality, they do not know what they are going to get. Like they say, be careful of what you wish for.

Now had bots in this country had any commone sense, they would not have dragged this country into a mess either. At least we can drink whatever beverage with our pies. So far.

  73. So now imust, can a code name for imusthavepie, be imusthavegallets?

  74. hmmm…imusthavegaletts? imustthinkonit. But first….

  75. NES is probably quite cozy in her sleeping chambers.

Just like we will be very, very soon.

    Counting sheep. Backwards, 4…3…2…1…lights out.

  76. better than counting goats……

  77. I think she has abandoned us for our lovable neighbor. She just can’t get the Romney love here. But alas, like all our true children, she shall return. And then there will be punishments. Lots and lots of Punishments.

  78. Imustnoteatpeanutbutterwithgoats…Funny vid!

  79. To the creepy-crawly who declared that my very existence makes people want to “tear their eyeballs out and eat their intestines,” thank you! That’s my goal. For example, I think you should tear your eyeballs out and eat your own intestines right now, so that the world will be a better place with you removed from the gene pool.

And by the way, your anonymous proxy isn’t worth shit. I know who you are. Fuck off, stalker.

  80. Goats serve a duel purpose for them, unlike women. They rape a woman then they kill her. They rape a goat, then they kill

It’s a good thing those f*%kers don’t bathe UW, can you imagine if they got a hold of some of “Barry’s Bath Salts”??

  81. Thanks to fixitfairy for fixing my blockquote thiing.

Haven’t been around too much…internet issues, I had to do my post in Word and hope I’d be able to get it pasted into W.P.

Socal, will try to follow you if I can.

  82. Hmm..Mary Landrieu voted nay on the food label thing. I guess because of this:

    Luling Plant
    Monsanto Company
    P.O. Box 174
    Luling, LA 70070
    (12501 River Road)

    Phone: (985) 785-8211

She will want my vote for reelection but have to let her know that’s iffy now.
