  1. Refreshing!

  2. This is an outstanding and complete account of the sequence of events in tracking down and capturing the scumbags. Also explains why some things were and weren’t done.

  3. I just glanced at your WaPo link, Upps and need to make another cup of coffee and sit and read it through. It looks excellent.

I know you can’t read the NY Times, but… they have a very good piece on the older brother and the FBI. He applied for citizenship and was denied. He was also reinvestigated just this year so the other report was wrong. Homeland Security did red flag him so he didn’t fall through many cracks.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/21/us/tamerlan-tsarnaevs-citizenship-held-up-by-homeland-security.html?ref=world

also as a side note, I’d be wary of the Mirror or Debka terror cell ideas since the Mayor of Boston basically said these two men are believed to have acted alone. Sure they had some help along the way from the older brothers radical friends and internet sites but a Saudi Cell doesn’t seem to be discussed seriously by any main sources or by authority who are involved with the investigation.

  4. Interesting to me though was that Mayor Patrick was the source most frequently quoted in the WaPo piece – agree it is excellent. He & Obama seem to be keeping their brothership under wraps – with big assist from media; but we know speech(es?) were shared in 2008.If they are still bros, the gov is a beautiful filter for POTUS.

  5. Guess I am a terrible squeeeee failure, but I saw the opening and thoughtlessly took it.

  6. From yesterday’s topic.

Wolf Blitzer…the Ted Baxter of real life TeeVee

  7. Patrick and Obama had the same puppet master – Axelrod. Obama was called Duval version 2.0 by many who saw the obvious fakery of his words, just words.

  8. Yeah, speaking of puppets, perfect – Ted Baxter Wolfie. That was just stunningly stupid tee vee without a script. The kids would beat him on the childrens version of the show.

  9. From the WaPo piece is this gem that ended the article:

After the arrest, Davis, exhausted but relieved, stood in the rain and looked back on four frenzied days of rugged, hurried and dangerous police work.

“Four days ago, my city was ruthlessly attacked,” he said. “There’s no explaining the savagery involved here. . . . I’ve spent the last several days looking at hundreds of hours of videotape. I got to see how brutal the attack was, over and over and over again.”

More important, he said, he watched how first responders and ordinary citizens put people back together. “Tourniquets,” Davis said. “Stemming the bleeding with their hands. Putting a man who was on fire out with their hands. These are the kind of things that came out of this savagery. It makes me proud.”

  10. Karen, Idunno. I’m not willing to commit to a theory nor am I willing to rule any out at this time. The fact that Alex Jones is all over it makes it highly suspect. Of course, if CNN confirms the Mirror or Debka, then we’ll know!

I saw the Mayor of Boston on TV saying they acted alone and my first thought was, How do you know? How does that fit with the 3 classmates/friends they arrested? Who are the 12 that authorities are looking for? Where did these brothers learn how to make a bomb and where did they test them?

I don’t think we’re ever going to be told the whole true story, even when it’s known.

  11. On another note: I wish I had seen my two Corgis when they were that young. Cute!..

  12. He likely learned it when he was over at some kind of terrorist training camp in Russia. That was what the Russian authority was concerned about. The FBI cleared him to go there. He was there for 6 months and came back crazy as a loon. He went radical around that time.

This tells his mind vs his non violent mosque teachings:

The Los Angeles Times’ Andrew Tangel and Ashley Powers report Tamerlan was thrown out of a mosque service three months ago after shouting that Martin Luther King Jr. shouldn’t be praised because he was not Muslim. The imam had held up a picture of the civil rights leader as an example of someone service attendees should try and emulate. Tamerlan was “crazy to me,” one attendee said. He “was not really so nice,” said another.

He was an evil bastard. He was also intelligent. That is a bad combo.

  13. Sophie @ 1:07, I had the same thought.

mcn, read your link on post below about the people suing the banks. Very interesting. Glad to see people fighting in any way they can. btw, thanks for all the great links you’ve posted this week.

  14. Aw come on, guys. I read the conspiracy first at a site that gave you the option to read it in arabic or russian and a couple of other languages. This shit is started amongst the very freaks who want us dead. It’s smoke and mirrors to take heat off the real cockroaches here. Please don’t fall into the rabbit hole, I’m begging you.

**This in response to an email not anything said here.

  15. Here’s what you’ll read at Alex Jones in a day or two.Who do you think wrote this bullshit? I put 2 xx at the end. Take them off and put the link in your browser, I’ll be damned if I give these fuckers any traffic.
    http://www.kavkazcenter.com/eng/content/2013/04/20/17666.shtmlxx

  16. I am sure there IS more to this story and if we aren’t told it, it might, just might be because they are on a trail and they don’t want to publicize it. Why tip people off? As it is the internet was getting in their way solving this, as the article I posted mentioned, with all these whackjob sleuths out there leading people down paths and placing innocent people’s lives in danger but naming them and flagging their faces in the crowd.

  17. Hey speaking of suing, did you see where Florida is suing BP oil for all the tourism money they lost because of their spill?

  18. Upps, what do you mean? I was talking about where Sophie says she saw the Mayor saying they acted alone and she thought, “how do you know?” and so on the rest of that paragraph. I should have put that in my post but I have terrible allergies this morning. Who is Alex Jones?

  19. Yes, saw that about Florida. Hope they win a ton of money. That oil spill was handled horribly.

  20. @ socal

You are welcome. I’m just happy that the lawsuit isn’t just talk. Any light shed on cockroaches flushes them out.

  21. @ Karen

Yes, the Mirror is kind of goofy and I see them in the same light as the National Enquirer. The thing is that the NE flushed out that cockroach Edwards when no one else would touch it because it might be deemed politically incorrect. Our msm is feeding us what they deem we should be getting hence I look everywhere. I don’t put too much faith in what politicians say these days either.

    @ Upps

Alex Jones will not disappoint. I’m getting emails on how this is a setup as well. I just shake my head.

  22. BTW, hastag #freehajar is up on twitter. Idiots.

  23. The worst of the lot is the NY Post. My father in law used to read that crappy paper 30 years ago and it was horrible then too. I would use it reluctantly to even paper train my puppies at the time. The dogs deserved better than that rag.

They published front page pics of innocent people. They deserve to be out of business and sued to the gills.

The Mirror is not a news source. The NE got lucky in one tawdry pic of Edwards and mistress with baby by their pig sty reporters. It doesn’t make it a news source either. They chased him around her basement or a hotel basement or something and cornered him in a bathroom, iirc. They were doing a wandering dick story and they got their man.

Not exactly journalism, any of those papers.

And agree with Sophie, if CNN says it then we’ll know it is wrong.

  24. It is hard to comprehend that they had another pressure cooker bomb all packed and ready to go. They were caught just in the nick of time. One report I read said the cops were looking at video from the 7-11 after they were robbed and on the video (besides the robbers) there just happened to be the two bombers. The Shell gas station catching them on tape, etc. is just a sign of the times.

We are watched everywhere we go. We pay the price of freedom because we need to keep an eye on these low life scum buckets out to hurt as many as they can.

So many sites are saying the older brother brainwashed the younger. Bullshit. We all have our own minds, our own souls, our own will to do or not do anything that is against our moral compass. The younger brother is equally guilty as the elder. Why they do this is that they are evil and sick and twisted morons from hell. No good person could comprehend harming another innocent human in such a way. To put that bag next to a little boy is the height of evil and ignorance.

Let the little fucker die miserably after he tells them all they need to know. I hope they aren’t giving him enough morphine and that he is suffering like the 11 victims in the same hospital. They lost their legs, FCS, he still has his. Cut his off with a butter knife.

  25. mcnorman, the ACLU will do all they can for him and they are already jumping up and down and demanding he has rights. Poor little terrorist.

as upps says – boo fn hoo.

  26. And agree with Sophie, if CNN says it then we’ll know it is wrong

    ROFLMAO

  27. Karen: The younger brother is equally guilty as the elder
    ———————————————————–
Yes, he is no angel…. WaPo article sealed this for me with revelation that younger was using the car to knock down cops, but missed & did US the favor of disposing of the older.

  28. @ karen

Upps is spot on, the circus has only just begun. That kid is pathological. What he did one day only to party the next is far from human. The PD should have just finished it. We’re in for the Hassan Crowne Plaza treatment crap. He’ll grow peach fuzz and pray to Satan 5 x a day, and we will have to pay for it.

  29. I agree with the ACLU–he has rights and I would like to see them honored. I would like us to win this thing by following the Constitution and behaving like the Democracy we’ve been saying we are. As it is, the warrantless searches, the endless surveillance, the suspending of Miranda, and so on stinks like a country that is not ours. If we cannot win following our own rules, then we lose.

No, he did not honor everyone else’s rights–and that’s why he’s a terrorist and we are not.

  30. HAHAHA on CNN.

Next they’ll send Poppy on prison site to talk about conditions for this poor “boy”. With Candy at the studio talking to her remote.

  31. No socal I qualified my comment with an edit. It was about an email.

  32. To repeat what I think (AGAIN): They should have wiped him out in the boat.

  33. It’s not like they didn’t try, Upps. The boat was pretty well shot up.

  34. Sophie, if they tried he’d be dead.

  35. FOUND! Barack Obama’s prototype!

    http://rt.com/usa/darpa-petman-the-robot-515/

    (Courtesy, Gigi)

  36. I wonder if the poor bastard who owns that boat is stuck with the bill. Even if it’s insured, it’s going to raise his rate big time. Not to mention deductables.

  37. Yeah I was gonna do a post on that robot. Holy shit.

  38. Insurance policies rarely cover terrorism, acts of war, acts of God, etc…

but maybe some boat company will give him a new one for the publicity and hero status.

  39. Petman would make a great husband.

  40. “Yeah I was gonna do a post on that robot.”

then take the link down so i don’t spoil it! LOL🙂

  41. “Petman would make a great husband.”

I’ll wait for the female version. Although, in some of the women’s communities around here, it may already be a reality….

  42. HAHAHAH FF I ain’t touchin’ that one.

  43. Good to see Freedom Fairy! Have missed you!

  44. Count me as another who’s happy to see Freedom Fairy!!🙂

  45. I think someone started a collection on that donation site to replace the guys boat. I would have thought his insurance would have covered it.

    :::::::::::::::;;;:;;::::::::::::::::::::
    Amen, Sophie!

  47. At the risk of sounding like another “Me Too-er,” I am also glad to see FF here (and not just because she lives near women’s communities that might have a Petwoman).

  48. Taking a bow. Hi to all!

Now – does anyone know if all three bombing victims were killed by the first bomb? If so, why did the second bomb not cause the carnage we saw in the first? If not, does anyone know who was killed by bomb #1 v bomb #2?

I’m jusr curious. Obviously, in videos, bomb #1 LOOKS more powerful, so I was wondering if bomb #2 was powder only and just a “distraction” device with no shrapnel.

    Any thoughts?

  49. FF I read where the pressure cooker cap or something, came off of one of them. Maybe that was the second one. That would reduce the power of the explosion.

  50. dwp insurance companies have gotten increasingly porky about what they will pay and find ways out of paying based on “the cause”. They are the scum that has risen to the top of the barrel when you try to file a claim and I bet they decided they don’t cover terrorism or something like that.

Edit: Sorry. FF said basically the same thing and I just saw it.

  51. FF, apparently they made a male robot because, obviously, if the metal they used was molded into a woman, it wouldn’t be as strong or smart.

  52. That would make sense, tho I haven’t seen anything in writing. Logical though, as the 2nd bomb SEEMED to have blown up straight up, not out, like the first.

  53. “…if the metal they used was molded into a woman, it wouldn’t be as strong or smart.”

and if anatomically correct, undressed she would be asking for it to boot!

  54. I emailed NES for some legal gibber jab on the case, but I suspect she’s having one of those weekends in the woods.

  55. “…if the metal they used was molded into a woman, it wouldn’t be as strong or smart.”

and if anatomically correct, undressed she would be asking for it to boot!

…and it would offend the taliban!

I have a vision of programming it to say, Make My Day, Goatfuckers!

  56. Sophie…”(and not just because she lives near women’s communities that might have a Petwoman).”

it’s so sad here. pathetic, really.

  57. …and it would offend the taliban!

I have a vision of programming it to say, Make My Day, Goatfuckers!

BUT! Think of how frightening they would look if dressed in Burkas, armed with big knives, and aimed straight at those goatfuckers!

  58. This counts as squee…

New Zealand legalized same-sex marriage the other day. After the tally was announced, Parliament burst into song: Pokarekare Ana, which is a well-known New Zealand love song. I heard they were singing it to the bill’s sponsor, MP Louisa Wall, a lesbian.

  59. “But of course if it’s used for combat, it would be killing civilians as well as it’s not going to be able to discriminate between civilians and soldiers,” he said.

    minor detail.

    ….or friend vs enemy, either.

  60. OT but this shit is going on in this country right now.

  61. Uppity, I don’t know what is on that horse vid and I don’t think I want to find out. If you call it shit then it is sure to make me very sad.

  62. I wonder what the lyrics are of the NZ love song?

  63. Called NZ’s ‘unofficial” national anthem.

  64. ‘Pokarekare Ana’ – a beatiful love song, written by a homesick soldier, serving in the Maori Battalion during World War I – with it’s tale of longing, for home & loved ones immediately touched his fellow countrymen, who adopted the haunting melody as thier own.
It’s now a poignient musical touch-stone for any homesick New Zealander.

  65. Karen the vid shows gorgeous, free wild horses being hunted by helicoptor and rounded up in pens where many of them try to jump from and get hung up. They are capturing them. Probably for food sale. Horse. The new red meat.

  66. It’s probably illegal to shoot those pictures now.

  67. Oh I’m sure it is, Sophie, now that congress has said selling horse meat is just fine, and shooting wild horses is now the same as deer hunting, only every day it’s in season.

  68. Maybe they want to start shooting our dogs next for the dog meat. Maybe congress will pass that law in the middle of the night like they tend to do.

  69. Would love to see one where the horses stomp them to death.

  70. I just saw there is a big recall on pet food. Natura brand – under other names as well – for salmonella. Proctor and Gamble co.

The kindle is making it hard to link to an article. Google Natura recall.

  71. Upps, I’m sure you’ve seen videos of the mistreatment of cows, pigs, and chickens in factory farms so I won’t grace your blog with those horrors. There are a number of states that already have ag-gag laws and 12 more were introduced by state legislators this year. So, it’s a crime to report gross mistreatment of animals in our food chain. People seem to feel it’s okay to treat animals like shit.

  72. Maybe they want to start shooting our dogs next for the dog meat. Maybe congress will pass that law in the middle of the night like they tend to do.

I see another O’Bama Rama executive order in our futures.

  73. “…if the metal they used was molded into a woman, it wouldn’t be as strong or smart.”

and if anatomically correct, undressed she would be asking for it to boot!

…and it would offend the taliban!

If they wish to be PC they could always purchase some of those lovely items from the Fifth Annual Fundamentalist Fashion Show.

Or they could use them to lure the goat-lovers out hiding and let the robot gals bash them where it hurts. A little bump in the voltage would be a plus.

  74. Here’s an organization that tries to save America’s wild horses.

    http://www.savingamericasmustangs.org/

I recently worked with a Mustang Cross. She was a little too wild for me and even bit me, but I sure didn’t feel compelled to take a bite out of her. It’s un-American to eat horses.

  75. And I won’t post it here, but some scumbag recently shot a horse point blank in the head in New Mexico and posted it on youTube to show his disdain for animal rights activists. That’s the same mentality that it takes to set bombs next to little kids.

  76. Upps, somebody may have already posted this Daily Mail link, but I found it interesting (seems to be source of one of the pix you linked to earlier)
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2312486/Dzhokhar-Tsarnaev-Boston-bombing-suspect-gun-mouth-fired-botched-suicide-attempt.html

  77. This is a really good link Val. Lots of information. I gott find youtube and put that infrared vid up
