The Trump documentary he tried to suppress

Per Uppity’s comment:

Here is a documentary that was suppressed by Donald Trump Via Law suits. It has been released in full. It is housed on public YouTube in 12 parts. It is mesmerizing and nauseating all in one fell swoop. I simply cannot believe this CON MAN and SERIAL LIAR is a candidate for President.

This is well-told and well-worth the watch.

This is the first part and will automatically roll into the subsequent videos.

  1. He is everything and more of which he accuses Hillary — crooked, corrupt, vomit inducing character but he has been enabled by the media and others for decades. He is one sleazy mfer. He has pulled wool over many of us. There was a time, even I thought (who had seen him on Apprentice without knowing much more) ‘what is wrong with electing a businessman’, better than the Cruzs and Rubios, right? But as the campaign has gone on, it is quite damning that this guy is still in the race and the media is behind him. He is not a serious candidate, there is no serious campaign, his advisors are all societal dregs discredited for the venom they spewed on the Clintons in their previous careers, and he thinks hiring them is going to get him the highest job in the world. He may have money but he is a guttersnipe out and out.

  2. As usual, Trump is full of sh*t. Listened to his remarks at the church in Detroit. Pandering at its finest.

  3. Another reading assignment, also well-worth your time.

    View story at Medium.com

  4. Up to Part 4 of the docu series and his current campaign is a redux of his Trump Tower construction. He is not fit to run this country even remotely.

  5. He even hired a ‘cheap’ Polish campaign manager, Lewandoski.

  6. The reporter on msnbc said a woman told him her husband prayed three days on whether to go see Trump in Detroit. He decided not to go.

  7. haha, Part 5.. there won’t be press freedom, it is the first thing that goes, if not already under Trump.

  8. haha, Part 5.. there won’t be press freedom, it is the first thing that goes, if not already under Trump.

Despite that, the stupid owners and managers of the Corporate Media continue to fluff the Grifter so they can have a profitable horse race, instead of the landslide for Hillary they might get if they told the truth about the Grifter.

I guess they don’t see how, if they succeed in getting him “elected”, Viceroy Trump of the Russian Stealth Occupation Government would “reward” them for their services.

  9. Sophie @ 12:10 pm

Very good article a must read.

The only thing I may differ is that the media is practicing pseudo-journalism or not journalism at all. Just a circus competition for ratings.

  10. Part 7, I am impressed with Ivana Trump. Here is a tidbit about immigrants. They leave their homeland generally looking for an opportunity, or a challenge sometimes and most succeed, most of the times.

  11. Ivory, maybe he is blackmailing them?! That is right up his alley.

  12. Part 8, at 0:38, notice how much Ivanka Trump talks like him, the mannerisms and her artificial way of speaking. Like father, like daughter.

  13. wow, that Hillary video was a tearjerker but there is a serious side to it. That is that, we have to try SOooo hard to show who she really is again and again. If fair minded people made a TV about Trump (wait a minute, they did!), it would be filled with corrupt politicians, shoddy contractors and construction, illegal workers, money men, mobs, blackmailed tenants, poorly cared for tenants, employees under duress, jilted wives, on and on.

  14. Pastor Mark Burns Trump surrogate has been caught in a lie. He lied about his military service. College etc.
They showed his church. He had two tables in it. He is what I said before a jack leg preacher. All he is about is himself just like Trump.

  15. Part 10, he is a scavenger. He feeds on dead or near dead businesses and collects cash.

  16. From Politicus USA: Why those headlines stating Clinton is as unpopular as Trump are bogus

  17. The only thing I may differ is that the media is practicing pseudo-journalism or not journalism at all. Just a circus competition for ratings.

    Hammer. Nail. Bang!

Those wretched nincompoops don’t see anything more important at stake here than their Madoka-damned ratings.

To repeat myself, I fear that Network and Idiocracy are proving to be prophecies. 😦

  18. ha!

  19. New thread…………ahhhhhhhhh, love it. Thanks Sophie.

Concerning the rating stars, only a Trump supporter would think the above video deserved one thumb down.

They might not be able to phuck with bloggers in the posts, so they show their Hillary hatred in the stars and thumbs.

7 straight minutes of Hillary Clinton

    ———-
Thank you for posting that video, it really, really moved me. That is the Hillary I have supported for decades and like her, I am loyal and I have her back.

  21. I think that Hillary may have to bring up some of these stories in her speeches, because that is the only way that the mainstream media will cofer them. If she says them, they’ll get pubilcity. She can pick her spots. I would certainly disseminate this Trump bribery of the AG in Florida, as it is as plain as day.

All of this may be worse, more sinister, than we have imagined.. Trump may have all sorts of info on the media people, and would think nothing of feeding it to his buddies in the Post or the National Enquirer. And who knows what mafia ties he might have? These journalists may well be very afraid of him, because even bias and stupidty would not be enough to account for their incredible refusal to even cover these horrible Trump corruption stories, while they relentlessly emphasize these Hillary “scandals,” which never show corruption, or bad intent; and actually even in the case of the emails, show nothing significant at all. Trump could win, unless something is done to counteract or override the media filter which keeps feeding negative stories about Hillary, while ignoring all of the Trump ones. We may actually be seeing a frighteningly sinister consortium of rabid CDS people, mafia types. arsonists like Assange, the Russian government and its contacts, and various other criminal elements, all lined up to bully and bribe and threaten and lie Trump to the presidency. All of these forces of evil lining up together, even as a direct part of his campaign, is far more unsettling than even what Nixon embodied.

  22. Hey Shadow! I notice you’re still going into spam. Since its probably becuz you post from work and home, I wonder if you create a new user name for work and change it just a little (like Shadowfax2), wordpress might stop dumping you into the trash?

  23. Here’s the video of Pastor Burns walking out of the interview. He’s a huckster.

  24. pm all three of his kids are cloned. And little Damian will be raised just like them, right after he is done romping with the Jackals.

  25. Here is something I have noticed in the last 6 months or maybe more (not going to google it). Ed Henry was WH correspondent on Fox and he was sent away after his affair with some porn person came to light (don’t know how) and he is back at some reporter level in some obscure capacity — don’t remember where I read all that but struck me as kind of strange for such a big punishment for something he did in his personal life. I can’t remember his disposition toward either Trump or Hillary. But kind of strange.

  26. How could Burns possibly think that his untruths would not be exposed. He certainly received a lot of exposure good and bad though. Famous. lol

  27. Sophie, I love that video.

  28. Ironically, Hillary may be fortunate that the Orange Grifter won the Republican nomination.

After all the years of smears, many people have been bamboozled into thinking the Clintons are Mr. and Mrs. Beelzebub.

If the GOP had not been captured by its hateful loony faction–so that it was still possible for the GOP to nominate an old-fashioned, fuddy-duddy, moderate Republican–that hypothetical moderate Republican might be running off with this election.

Instead, the GOP is stuck with the Orange Grifter. Clinton scares only the people who believe at least some of the smears. Trump scares anyone who is paying attention.

  29. A Saturday funny for all:

  30. Can’t say I didn’t call it early. I WANTED Trump to be the nominee.

  31. Hiya WLM!!!

  32. Burns was a shyster. Looking for fame. Got what he asked for, but not in a good way. Got what he deserved. He was/is in it for something for himself. Had ideas for himself. Blew it. I love Karma.

  33. Nothing could be finer than a shyster from Carolina, for the gloatin’

  34. Hi, Ups

  35. Ha, Prolix!

  36. Wow. “Pastor” Burns and Trump are a perfect match. Both scam artists. I wonder if Burns family are ashamed of him.

  37. Henry was , imo, very hard on covering anything Clinton. It will be interesting to see what changes, if any, occur at Fox News, in the near future. Unfortunately, it is hard to get unbiased news on any channel. None of us should forget that MSNBC was totally in O’s corner in 08 and had lots of Sanders people until that was over. BY the way, were is Bernie and why is he not campaigning like craxzy for Hillary like she did for O?
CNN is probably the most fair, but as of late, seem to be fixated on the race tightening and Hillary’s so-called negatives. Truthfully, I can’t stand watching any of them and rely on the blogs and RCP poll for most info.

  38. Quick question…is anyone getting their stuff from the campaign? I never got my magnet, my bumper sticker…nada.

    What’s the deal?

  39. My apologies in advance. I just couldn’t NOT post this ( the three assholes):

  40. jb, the best thing to happen is Bernie disappearing. He’s the last person I would want to see out there “campaigning” for himself……um…I mean Hillary. Bernie’s ego would get in his way in the first five minutes. Secondly, much of the crap Trump has thrown at Hillary was HANDED to him by Bernie. Honestly? Fuck Bernie.

I do think he tried to make a ‘comeback’ with his ‘revolution’. He had a rally planned. It fizzled. My guess: He is what all Also Rans become. Forgotten. As it should be. He just went and ran off about bought a summer home with the pizza money Jane extracted from the campaign pot on a monthly basis. The whole primary thing went to Bernie and Jane’s heads. I’m sure adjusting to be nobody again isn’t easy, but I don’t really care.

I do think Tim Canola Oil running against DWS was bernie’s test case. Tim got his ass kicked. End of stor. Socialism is not what Americans want. It’s what the Democratic fringe wants. They all need to joing CPUSA and get it over with.

  41. Voting, I finally got the things I paid for…took a heck of a long time, but none of the fee stuff they promised.

  42. Voting There was another card. Been so long I forgot the name. Not the womans card. You had to donate you would get this other card. Never received it.

  43. VotingHillary and others,

Getting stuff from the campaign takes a looooong time. It can seem even longer if you’re an Amazon Prime customer! Those promos are especially long–for example, it took me longer to get my original women’s card than it did to gt the one I ordered as part of a larger order from their online swag shop. Made me wonder if the promos were made to order. Eventually, everything I’ve ordered has come.

  44. Uppity, speaking of clones, Ivanka’s daughter looks like a carbon copy of Trump, down to the eyebrows.

  45. Can I just say how much I 💘 Tim Kaine? This morning on ABC he compared Trump calling on the Russians to hack Hillary to Nixon during Watergate. No doubt, media outrage will follow, but it’s true.

If Hillary’s choice of this harmonica playing, regular guy as her running mate is any indication of what kind of president she will be, she will be great!

  46. That Pence panties is going to release his tax returns next week???

Well… I can hardly wait for the Trumpy’s reaction: would he? wouldn’t he?

    Taking bets anyone?

  47. socalannie,
Hey Shadow! I notice you’re still going into spam. Since its probably becuz you post from work and home, I wonder if you create a new user name for work and change it just a little

    —-
    Hey Socialannie,

Since 2007, I never had problems until I decided to change my icon from the generic bug to my Hillary icon.

Have changed names, have chanced passwords. Problem might be between wordpress and gravatar.

  48. I take it back, I was sent the free Woman’s card, but not buttons. I did get some free stuff when I went to see/ and meet Hillary.

  49. Can’t say I didn’t call it early. I WANTED Trump to be the nominee.

It’s almost like providence that Trump was the nominee. This may very well get Hillary in for her first term, and a high approval rating and accomplishments when she runs against a more serious republican opponent may very well guarantee her a second term! 🙂

  51. Oh you got to see this….this is how the British satirists see Trump, this debuted last night on national TV …..watch the hair…….do spread it around if you like.

  52. Trump Uni is going to be the downfall of Trump…more day by day.

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/former-texas-official-says-he-was-told-to-drop-trump-university-probe/

Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton moved to muzzle a former state regulator who says he was ordered in 2010 to drop a fraud investigation into Trump University for political reasons.

Paxton’s office issued a cease and desist letter to former Deputy Chief of Consumer Protection John Owens after he made public copies of a 14-page internal summary of the state’s case against Donald Trump for scamming millions from students of his now-defunct real estate seminar.

Owens, now retired, said his team had built a solid case against the now-presumptive Republican presidential nominee, but was told to drop it after Trump’s company agreed to cease operations in Texas.

The former state regulator told The Associated Press on Friday that decision was highly unusual and left the bilked students on their own to attempt to recover their tuition money from the celebrity businessman.

Trump University is the target of two lawsuits in San Diego and one in New York that accuse the business of fleecing students with unfulfilled promises to teach secrets of success in real estate.

  53. I will name no names, except that it’s no one here, but certain people are losing their Shinola and are ready to forfeit the game at halftime, because the other team made a surge late in the second quarter, even though our team still leads.

The media weasels have always had their daggers out for the Clintons. We knew Hillary would have to fight the media as well as the Orange Grifter. No one is better equipped to beat them all than our own Iron Lady.

  54. I think the media is having a temper tantrum, because Hillary hasn’t given a press conference in 270 + days . If I were Hillary, I wouldn’t want to talk to them either. Bunch of jackals.

  55. birdgal, they’ll be flying on her new campaign plane with her starting tomorrow. Poor babies might get a “hello”.

Ivory Bill, I think the whiners are “summer soldiers and sunshine patriots”.

  56. I think I know of what you speak, Mr. Woodpecker. I’m, at present, into avoiding doom and gloom so I seek my positive Clinton news where ever I can find it. Right here is a good place.

  57. Who would have ever thought I’d come to like Mark Cuban?

  58. Brassy, I know about the plane. Then, the meme may be, Hillary doesn’t talk to us. I wouldn’t talk to them either.

  59. This is no time for bed-wetting or pearl-clutching.

I highly recommend listening to the Keepin’ It 1600 podcast for perspective.

  60. The Corporate Media always loathed the Clintons, for whatever “reasons”, but they never kept Bill from winning two Presidential elections. The CM and the GOP managed to cobble together a rickety impeachment case, which failed miserably. If not for the 22nd Amendment, Bill could have won a third term in 2000.

As I keep saying, the next President Clinton needs to make priorities of restoring the Fairness Doctrine and filing anti-trust suits against the media conglomerates, which have grown too powerful and irresponsible.

As a case in point, the WaPo said Trump is closing the gap with Latino voters. The facts say the WaPo is talking out its @$$. 😉

  61. Hillary will be here in Cleveland tomorrow. Can’t wait to go see her at our annual Labor Day Parade. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  62. neeta:
would you please give her a big HUG for me?

    Thank you.

  63. Tomorrow night on CNN, there will be specials on Hillary and Trump. The one on Hillary starts at 8 PM Eastern time and the previews show Chelsea being interviewed. The one on Trump starts at 10 PM Eastern time. Looking forward to seeing the one on Hillary.

  64. Meanwhile, guess who’s leading again in North Carolina.

The site has a good set of articles today as well (scroll down); I recommend “About That ‘Tightening’ Presidential Race”.

  65. Oh, also–the site said a few days ago that the latest Virginia poll is a bit of an outlier, and she’s probably doing better in Virginia than that last poll would indicate.

  66. I think they should stop using Bernie as well. He’s a useless if not terrible surrogate. Also, a lazy POS–look at his day compared to theirs. (Oh, I guess I could walk around the neighborhood in my pajamas to say I did my party to save the free world from fascism.)

  67. What do you think of this?

How to beat Donald Trump in a debate
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-debate_us_57c9b1a3e4b078581f12d834

  68. Something that I have never forgotten, because it was so interesting to contemplate, came from an adventure novel by Rafael Sabatini. I think if was “Scaramouche.” He said that the greatest swordfighter in the world did not fear the second greatest swordfighter. He feared the novice, who could do something completely unexpected; make a foolish lunge or swing which would be so far out of accepted swordfighting style, that it might work one time, and be fatal to the champion duelist.

This is of course the danger of facing Trump in a debate. Hillary could comfortably handle a traditional Republican like McCain or Romney. Trump is not about coherent answers or political policies, he is about trying to embarrass her, saying anything which might have an effect, even if is completely false or slanderous. And Hillary does not debate in that way. I have never seen her personally attack anyone in a debate. She follows the rules of debate, and she answers the questions posed. This creates a potential problem. The rigid debate format which the Republicans always demand, does not allow for extended answers or nuance. The goal is to come up with the riposte in the final rebuttal of any topic, to leave the last impression. Trump will surely throw in some of those, insulting Hillary’s character, policy decisions, personal life.

I think that Hillary must avoid being on the defensive, the way that the media has predictably tried to make her be. The media will praise anything Trump says, even showing up; so that he essentially gets a free shot here. The media wants to see Trump attack her. I don’t think that Hillary should try to play some psychological game of needling Trump, as the Huffington writers suggest in typiically breezy fashion. Trump’s handlers will tell him over and over not to lose his cool. Trump has made a career of playing to the cameras, and can appear very sincere if that is his chosen affect for the day. He is not going to blow up, like some would hope. He is going to try to sound serious, and then throw in virulent attacks on Hillary.

I think that Hillary should have a few comments ready, which go directly to Trump’s characterr, the soulless, amoral person he really is. Something like, “You have spent this campaign lying to the American people about your policies and about your financial history. You think that the American people are gullible enough to fall for your carny show, but they are not. Being President is nothing like hosting a TV show; and while you might think it t would be fun to find that out, ho one else can afford to.” And, “You have never done anything in your life to help anybody except yourself.” That kind of thing. She can’t just try to answer the policy questions in a better way, because it inevitably becomes, ‘He said, she said, take your choice.” People aren’t very knowledgeable about such things, and that is how Bush beat Gore, with the media’s corrupt interpretative help. And every time Trump tries to deal with a policy issue, call it simplistic, incoherent; and most importantly, ruinous. Try to get the conversation to global warming, ,which Trump completely denies. Mention his years long campaign trying to prove that Obama is not an American. Say that his economic plan will destroy the economy; that his foreign affairs ideas would destroy America’s respect around the world, and worse. That the country Trump envisions wold look like Dickensian London, with rich people stepping over dead and dying people in the streets. Create a horror show version of what Trump World would look like. Do what the media refuses to do, and play out the implications of what his casually tossed out policy proposals would mean. Not a fun experiment; let’s see what happens; it will be interesting; but a certain recipe for massive chaos and destruction.

  69. Visit “The Confluence”.

RD Labor Day post, good points as always.

One that I liked is her avoidance to link-post unfavorable articles, comments and reports about Hillary. Why give them more exposure?

    We uppities can follow practice…

  70. Talking about links…forgot the link…

  71. He feared the novice, who could do something completely unexpected; make a foolish lunge or swing which would be so far out of accepted swordfighting style, that it might work one time, and be fatal to the champion duelist.

    This concerns me as well.

One reason the Pearl Harbor raid worked is exactly because it was such a high-risk, low-hope idea that our admirals and generals did not think the Japanese (or anyone else, for that matter) would be irrational enough to try it.

  72. Hillary coming up on C-span. Tim is killing it right now in his intro.

  73. What is wrong with Hillary??

  74. Birdgal, nothing.

  75. Allergies, birdgal. Doctor’s report notes she suffers from seasonal allergies and takes anti-histamines. I first noticed the occasional coughing spell back in 2008. She just fights through it, but, no doubt, Trump will mock her on Twitter.

  76. Trump can mock. He can also be mocked. 😛

  77. She gets laryngitis after talking all day, too.

She got it in 2008 too. Of course some of the same people who called it laryngitis in 2008 will call it a terminal illness now.

  78. Of course, they’ll say she is at death’s door.

  79. Uppity, So do I.

  80. I don’t think coughing is a symptom of brain damage or a seizure disorder anyway. But Trumpets are always willing to adapt.

I love the riverdaughter link–especially when she says the Clinton people probably want to replace flotation devices with anchors and oxygen with nitrous oxide for NYT reporters.

  81. Krugman’s new post about media’s false equivalency and lots of comments agreeing with him. Nice to know we’re not alone in our outrage:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/05/opinion/hillary-clinton-gets-gored.html?_r=0

  82. Me too, Bird. I used to get it a lot.

  83. Sophie @ 9:49am; Sophie, I think there are some good points in that post, but its hard for me to swallow that trump “won” all his debates. Did he ever actually debate? He won the popularity contest apparently since he’s the nom. It’ll be interesting to see the first couple of debates. Since a lot of people get bored and don’t watch all the debates, hopefully they’ll skip out on the 3rd one since Chris Wallace is moderating. I don’t know if I’ll be able to stomach it myself.

  84. William, really like your swordfighter illustration.

  85. Wallace should not be moderating a debate. His former boss and good buddy, Roger Ailes, now works for Trump. Media is so busy looking for imaginary conflicts of interest in Hillary’s life that they no longer recognize an actual conflict.

  86. Just returned from Hillary’s rally here in Cleveland. The air was filled with electricity. All the speakers were great.
Hillary came out began speaking had a coughing spell. Everyone shouted take your time, drink some water. It’s going to be ok.
I can see why she had a coughing spell. We were out in the open. There were smoke coming from all over. People were barbecuing all over the place.
The smoke was making my eyes water. If you have allergies you might start coughing.
Otherwise she looked great in person. She looked well rested.
It was hot as you know what in the sun.
Hate to brag. I was on stage AGAIN.

  87. Neetabug, I am so jealous and happy for you that you were able to be there. I just want to give you a big hug. I was listening to the radio, when I heard Hillary coughing. I did assume it was allergies, but when you mentioned the smoke from the barbecues, that explained it completely. Of course, the media won’t report that. Glad to hear, the crowd was so supportive. She did look well rested in the photos I saw later on.

  88. I’m competing with Neetabug to see who can attend the most Hillary rallies! 😀 This Thursday in Charlotte, and the team chose an historically black university, Johnson C Smith. And my college daughter signed up for her school’s campus Hillary group. So I’m feeling some Mama Bear pride right now.

  89. I have allergies, particularly to smoke of any kind; and if had to inhale smoke from barbecues coming in from all directions, I might well start coughing. What is disgusting as that Republicans, particularly Trump and Conway, not only try to exploit this, but are gleeful that Hillary had a coughing spell. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had someone walk by her with a lit cigar before the debates, to see if they could get her to have an allergic reaction.

  90. You could hear her voice was going long before she started coughing. It’s classic.

  91. Good competition Julie. Whomever wins gets a penguin.

  92. Damn. Moving out of my safe blue state and into a swing state.

  93. bellecat

Personally I don’t like to blog on a site that doesn’t discuss and provide backup for what is going on with the enemy.

I appreciate all the information this site provides along with the rants and humor.

  94. socal, it’s not so much that he “won” but that he decimated, humiliated, and wiped out his opponents. He fights dirty and nothing’s off the table. Everyone who ran in that Republican primary is mortally wounded for future runs.

  95. Hillary’s allergies – I have had allergies in the summer since I was in middle school and still have them. Anyone that connects coughing with brain damage is an idiot.

Another thing, Hillary is on airplanes all the time, and we all know how that air is the worst.

As far as t.Rump winning all the GOP ‘debates’…that’s a joke. Anyone, including myself that has debated for years in subjects of real substance knows that the level of discussion that went on between those ‘men’ were not debates. They were silly, mud fringing, school-yard brawls.

Hillary will not have any trouble with the ‘debates’ against Dumpty…she will make him look like the fool we already know he is. His jerkoff insults will gain some priceless facial expressions from our girl.

  97. Phyllis Schlafly, who hung on for 92 years as a female impersonator, finally died.

  98. If she were dying, why would she be running like this to be president just to die. She would be spending her time with Bill, Cheslea and the grandbabies. It does not even make sense.

  99. Sophie, were are you moving to? For a second I thought that you meant that CT was no longer safe. I saw an Ipsos poll showing Hilary up only 6 or so in CT, but that seems unlikely. I am glad CA is a very Blue state, but I wouldn’t mind hanging out in a swing state for a while. to help.

As far as Trump in debates, he personally mocked his opponents, mostly because they were trailing in the polls. Laughing it off did not work, nor did insulting back in a childish way. At least Hillary has the benefit of seeing the results of that on the Republican side. She has to get through to the viewers just how immensely dangerous a Trump presidency would be. Go beyond the showmanship and insulting remarks, and make the story of the debate the horrifying prospect of Trump running the country. Play your game, not his.

  100. Shafly. Geeze I feel terrible.

I volunteer to throw the dirt on her grave if they need help.
I do hope they buried her face down so she can get where she’s going faster.

  101. William, I was joking. I want to get in on the penguin contest. Hillary only comes to CT for fundraisers and I can’t afford to win a penguin!

  102. Sophie, look up Sandra Boynton’s illustrated book and song, “Your Own Personal Penguin.” It is not as good as a real penguin, but still very cute.

  103. The CNN special on Hillary is on NOW. So far, so good.

  104. Sophie you have kept this crazy place alive for a couple of YEARs. You can have a whole flock of penguins.

Imust is on sabbatical but if she were here she’d understand that, while she also kept this watering hole alive with you, she cannot have a penguin, due to previous penguin abuse.

  105. Hugh Hewitt is voting for the Orange Menace, but he tweeted that his side needs to stop with the coughing “attacks”. Says he has allergies. As a broadcaster, he can relate. Hey! Every so often, one of them surprises you with a shred of human decency.

  106. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times….I did not abuse that penguin! He ran away to the snow globe in the header! Where’s my lawyer? NES??

  107. Oh well.

  108. Sophie @ 9:38pm, perfect comment! Would give 5 stars twice if I could.

  109. Time for Pie!!

  110. Upps @ 8:14pm: screamingly funny!

  111. You oughta see my tweets on it, Socal lol

  112. Ding Dong! Phyllis is gone!

  113. OMG, Imust is here. *Gulp*

  114. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times….I did not abuse that penguin! He ran away to the snow globe in the header! Where’s my lawyer? NES??

NES is MY lawyer. Find your own lawyer. You abused that poor Pengy when you used up ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the ice for booze and left him to dehydrate! The snow globe was his refuge from you! He sought asylum!!!

  115. Incidentally, he’s doing VERY well without you!

  116. OMG!!! That penguin is too much.

  117. See! That video proves my point! He didn’t need ice to live! He just wanted to see the world….visit a snow globe, go to Japan!
We keep in touch. I send him money so he can go shopping! He even made his own Music Video about it!

    LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA…Shopping penguin…

  118. Bullcrap!!! He told me you tried to reach him so he moved. He’s in the Penguin Witness Protection Program now.

  119. Birdgal, touching Pengy story. Penguin returns every year to visit man who saved his life.

  120. Uppity, Touching penguin stories. They are very intelligent animals. Love.

  121. I’m not saying another word on this penguin matter without my lawyer present!
    [grabs penguin – runs ]

  122. The pengy vids are adorable. Cute little critters.

  123. *Calls ASPCA*

  124. IANAL but those videos clearly demonstrate that penguins do not require round-the-clock ice and do have a curiosity about their surroundings.

:::::::::ducking under the desk like we’re back in the 60s::::::::::::

  125. Phyllis Schafly has many replacements starting with Ann Coulter who called the soldier’s dad Kizr Khan a snarling Muslim. I think she should be deported from where her ancestors came because she does not have American values.

  126. It’s not about constant ice, it’s about NOOOOOOOOO ice. EVER!

    Oh and Sophie?
    There will be punishments.

  127. Punishments? Feh!

I am under my SCHOOL DESK, able to shield off an Evil Red Nuclear Blast. Your punishments have no power here.

  128. Greta is leaving Fox. Are they purging all Roger Ailes supporters? Was that part of Carlson’s settlement? Well, whatever the reason, Trump lost an anchor slobbering over him which is good.

  129. CNN poll has Trump up by 1 over Hillary–by oversampling non-college educated whites by A LOT. Thus are horse races created.

  130. I don’t understand Van Susteren at all. First Palin; now Trump. And an Ailes apologist, to boot. What is wrong with this woman?

  131. Brassy Rebel, I didn’t understand her either this election season. Her husband was a very big supporter of Hillary’s in 2008. And for her to throw her support for Trump this season and then to have stood up for Ailes?

  132. Your second or third home that you bought recently is wealthy by poverty standards. It is all relative unless you lived like a hermit. Stop talking.

  133. So true! But Boehlert is an exception, right?😉

  134. Breaking…A train carrying more than 200 passengers has crashed into a truck in Los Angeles – multiple injuries reported

  135. Good one, Sophie!

  136. Pet penguin in Japan…that’s just weird.

    Pet at the S. poll…that I understand.

  137. Greta is leaving Fox.

Good, maybe she will go to CNN and be able to start supporting Hillary again.

I met her in Denver, well sorta. I was walking the streets outside the Convention (2008) with another Hillary supporter and a life-sized cutout of Hillary between us. Greta stood on the sidewalk, taking our photo. I recognized her, called out, “Hi Greta!” and she smiled and quickly ran off before anyone else recognized her. 😉

  138. I am under my SCHOOL DESK, able to shield off an Evil Red Nuclear Blast. Your punishments have no power here.

I bet the floor is really dirty too! Cover your head in case a nuke hits the room! Later, we will give you a polio shot with a needle we already used 17 times.

  139. For Chrissakes, actually click on this for a change.

  140. I’ll bet Phyllis Shaffly regretted saying
“There will be a Woman President over my Dead Body”

  141. Upps, I am in an elite group of people: those WITH a vaccination mark. Bet you’re in this exclusive club too.

  142. Sophie, Good one!!

Uppity, Good catch on the polling.

  143. CNN would say they polled “likely” voters vs. registered voters. But their voter screen eliminated a lot of folks who aren’t non-college educated whites. There aren’t enough non-college whites in the country to win it for Trump. He’s even bleeding college educated whites in this poll (to say nothing of trailing by more than 50 pts. with non-whites).

Also the last three CNN polls have been all over the map: Trump up by 5, Clinton up by 9, and now, Trump up by 1–or a dead heat.

CNN is a hot mess in general these days.

  144. And then there’s Newt Gingrich having a coughing fit while concern trolling Hillary’s coughing on Sean Hannity’s radio show. He said he travels so much that airplane air makes his throat dry out. Of course, Hillary doesn’t fly much.

    I love karma.

  145. Of course, I sent Newt a love note…

  146. Oh and Sophie?
    There will be punishments.

    Don’t punish Sophie!
    Punish NES…..she’ll say she’d like it😉

  147. His current wife should present him with divorce papers now-just like he did to his ailing first wife. Like I said, karma.

  148. Brassy, have you seen the current wife/ He is her biggest catch unless she changes her hair.

  149. His current wife should present him with divorce papers now-just like he did to his ailing first wife. Like I said, karma.

    Miss Ibuki responds.

  150. Yes, I suspect NES would be more open to punishments than I am. But like I said, I have this impervious school desk. They told me it would protect me. My survival of the Cold War is a testament to their honesty.

  151. Good read:

  152. YES! Now the media are going after each other.🙂

That was just too damn funny, Sophie!🙂

  154. Yes NES does enjoy a good spanking.

  155. Upps, I am in an elite group of people: those WITH a vaccination mark. Bet you’re in this exclusive club too.

I must certainly do have my own personal pock.

  156. I’ll bet Phyllis Shaffly regretted saying
“There will be a Woman President over my Dead Body”

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!

  157. Yes, I suspect NES would be more open to punishments than I am. But like I said, I have this impervious school desk. They told me it would protect me. My survival of the Cold War is a testament to their honesty.

Sometimes they gave us chocolate milk as a treat after the air raid, or after the polio shot. Usually, somebody threw up during the shot so who wanted chocolate milk after that?

  158. Now CNN will try to help Trump, to validate its poll. Of course, they have been doing that right along. At least newspapers have the decency to come out with their endorsements.

  159. @sophie the school desks, in Calif anyway, protect against earthquakes. We have Drop and Cover instead of Duck and Cover. Maybe “Duck” sounded too cold warish? Anyway, we also have “Shelter in Place” drills in case of intruders with AK what evers. Those school desks have to be bullet proof. I guess if they can protect against nukes, they can handle machine guns.

  160. Did you guys see that Gretchen Carlson settled her 2 month old lawsuit against Fox News Corp for 20 freaking million dollars?!?!

They gave her 20 mil to go away? I bet she had some massively dirty shit on Ailes and maybe others for them to pony up that much $ that fast!

I wish whatever she is holding over their evil heads would get accidentally leaked.

  161. Greta Susteren use to be very much pro Hillary. I think she still is, or at least neutral, but Trump has given her lots of access whereas Hillary has not.
As for the 20 million dollar settlement , as a lawyer, that is an incredible sum to settle for a single plaintiff . Carlson may have lost her show on Fox, but I think the 20 million will mitigate her disappointment and certainly she must feel vindicated.
Finally, the polls, despite what some suggest, are a grave concern for me. I didn’t expect a 12% victory, but this is virtually tied and Trump , like Hillary, has a large war chest to spend and the MSM covering him non-stop so he can save most of it for the last month or two. This is going to be a very, very close race. It’s astonishing that Hillary, the most competent person to run for office in decades, could possibly lose to Trump who seems to be short on policy, but he overall themes seem to resonate with 40-45% of the population.

  162. The Dallas Morning News, a reliably Republican newspaper in a bright red state, has rejected The Donald.

Also, a link within the linked page shows that the newspaper endorses Hillary, however reluctantly.

  163. “Clinton: Because America needs a grown-up in the White House.”

  164. LOL… best tweet ever. Trump is not smart.

  165. Two good articles here. One on Trump at the church in Detroit. The other on the generals who endorsed him.

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/09/06/the-disgraced-and-little-known-generals-backing-donald-trump.html

  166. JB, I try to focus on the electoral votes. She is ahead there.

  167. The polls are a cconcern because just about all of them show Hillary’s lead nationally and in key states dissipating. The only “logical” explanation for this is the horrible and duplicitous job done by the media. Joy Reid had a journalist on yesterday, last name Allen. And he had just written an article about the unfair “Clinton rules,” where every innuendo is run with by the media, for weeks; and never relinquished until it is found demonstrably false. I would add that the media never retracts any of the stories, they just go on to another one. Not one iota of wrong was found with regard to the Clinton Foundation, and yet the media has firmly planted the innuendo into the public’s consciousness. What else would account for the poll tightenings? No gaffe or insulting statements by her, such that Trump issues daily.

We can very legitimately blame the media. But we also have to look at the voters, who either don’t know, don’t care, or don’t want to learn about, the actual policy issues. Hillary’s great strength, that she knows and understands more about the intricacies of complex policy matters, is rendered almost meaningless. It is like being at a bar, and trying to talk about medieval literature. The voters have been so dumbed down as a group, that they literally seem to have no understanding of what the two candidates and their parties would do about economic or international matters. Thus, with the ever-present urging of the media, the election turns into a strange popularity contest, as if you were choosing who should win “Survivor.” This is unsettling, because it almost means that to win, Hiillary has to make Trump look frightening, which he is. But Hillary having vastly more understanding of issues, is rendered meaningless. You have the most qualified candidate for President, on merit, that I have ever seen, vs. an absolutely ignorant buffoon, who also happens to be a psychopath. And the race is this close? Do people have to actually fall into the abyss before they believe it exists? Very possibly. Global warming gets worse every years, and Trump calls it toral b.s, and says we should stop spending any money to combat it. And apparently the public doesn’t care, and if fascinated by the term “emails.”

  168. I am not at all looking forward to the CIC event tonight. Of course I hope that Hillary does well, and she always does. But this is such a set-up in favor of Trump. Best guess is that Hillary’s hour (I wish she could have gone last, as she always did in the primaries, but no) will involve angry veterans blaming her for Benghazi, Libya, Iraq; questioning her about emails. And then Trump, with no votes and no record, will get easy questions about his goals, and will tell them simplistic and nonsensical things. And the media will declare that Trump did very well, and that HIllary was subjected to challenging questions about her actions and scandals. And then they’ll minutely analyze all of her answers. The one-on-one debates give her a better chance (although CNN seems to be trying to get Johnson up to 15% so he can muddy things in debates), but this CIC event is very unfavorable, from my view. Hillary will do her very best to navigate these deliberately treacherous waters.

  169. Digital Age campaign versus Stone Age campaign

  170. PM, Fascinating article.

  171. birdgal, isn’t it! Trump is a mob using filthy mouthed neanderthal throwing money at corrupt politicians to get his way skirting employment/immigration/tax laws to enrich himself. To give the country to him is to give a diamond to a monkey. He is in real estate not in rocket science.

We need politicians who are also technocrats in this day and age not some filthy real estate developer who is corruption central. Note that he could build his wealth honorably within the scope of the laws of the country without bribing the politicians like he boasts of.

Why is he bribing the politicians in the first place? Ask that question, media mfers!

  172. Wm I wish they would put Trump in a booth so that he could not hear the questions they ask Hillary and her answers.
This is not fair to Hillary if he hears the questions and answers.
Hillary needs to be able to rebuttal.

I thought Trump said he knows more about Isis than the generals. Yet he wants them to show him a plan in thirty days.

Wm we are going to win this. Hillary has offices in Cleveland all over the place.

  173. I had to pop in for a moment. I am phone banking. You can not believe how the voters are calling Trump crazy. One woman says she can’t wait to vote. She says everyone in her family is registered and will be voting for Hillary.
The media keeps saying no one is hyped about Hillary. They are wrong. They are just waiting quietly for Nov to vote for her.

  174. I don’t agree with their view of her shortcomings but rest of it pretty good:

    http://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/editorials/20160907-we-recommend-hillary-clinton-for-president.ece

Those are real shortcomings. But they pale in comparison to the litany of evils some opponents accuse her of. Treason? Murder? Her being cleared of crimes by investigation after investigation has no effect on these political hyenas; they refuse to see anything but conspiracies and cover-ups.

We reject the politics of personal destruction. Clinton has made mistakes and displayed bad judgment, but her errors are plainly in a different universe than her opponent’s.

Trump’s values are hostile to conservatism. He plays on fear — exploiting base instincts of xenophobia, racism and misogyny — to bring out the worst in all of us, rather than the best. His serial shifts on fundamental issues reveal an astounding absence of preparedness. And his improvisational insults and midnight tweets exhibit a dangerous lack of judgment and impulse control.

  175. JB

Trump doesn’t gain many new supporters, he is still in the low forties. You should fret if the polls and media were reliable and honest, but they weren’t. Polls were not correct for Hillary in the primary either.

Don’t buy into the Trump hype.

  176. JB – and if you still get your worry from you-know-where, remember there was NO ONE behind the damn curtain.

  177. Jb, one more.

I listen to Satellite radio in my car, and often they play a Stone’s song, I always think of you.

  178. What jxxxxxs is handing out 3 or less stars? Why vote if you think the comment is average?

  179. shadow, I just vote them up. Haha

  180. Hillary Clinton’s ‘Invisible Guiding Hand’
Meet the little-known statistician behind the Democratic nominee’s most important strategic decisions.

    [snip]
Now, with Donald Trump investing virtually nothing in data analytics during the primary and little since, Kriegel’s work isn’t just powering Clinton’s campaign, it is providing her a crucial tactical advantage in the campaign’s final stretch. It’s one of the reasons her team is confident that, even if the race tightens as November approaches, they hold a distinctive edge. As millions of phone calls are made, doors knocked and ads aired in the next nine weeks, it is far likelier the Democratic voter contacts will reach the best and most receptive audiences than the Republican ones.

    Yeeeehaw!

  182. I don’t see what difference it makes whether Hillary goes first or last at the CIC town hall. I imagine the questions will be the same. The media will grade Trump on a curve and say he did awesome if he didn’t fall over and drool.

Trump’s problem is like Shadow says. No matter what Hillary’s numbers are Trump’s are always stuck in the low 40’s. As a matter of fact that is the problem the GOP has past Trump. Their base is 39% of the population and then you have a number of regular Republicans that are refusing to vote for Trump.
